A tecnologia é uma componente presente na definição de cinema. A evolução tecnológica sentida na indústria cinematográfica possibilita, ao longo da sua existência, novas formas de produzir cinema e de o mesmo ser visto por diferentes meios e em diferentes ambientes. Partindo de uma contextualização histórica da evolução da tecnologia no cinema, desde a película ao digital, da televisão ao VHS ou DVD, até ao surgimento das plataformas de streaming, abordam-se várias mudanças que tiveram impacto em toda a indústria cinematográfica. O ritmo cada vez mais acelerado destas mudanças, sem tempos de maturação, leva a uma instabilidade geral. A distribuição e exibição digitais tiveram um papel importante neste clima de incerteza, por trazerem novas possibilidades e alterarem os hábitos de consumo do público. Deste modo abriram uma discussão que questiona as formas de pensar, fazer e ver cinema. Este projeto é constituído pelo presente relatório e um documentário com a participação de realizadores portugueses, que tem como objetivo reunir as suas visões acerca do panorama atual de distribuição e exibição em Portugal. O foco na figura do realizador é justificado pela sua influência em todo o processo criativo e no próprio produto final. Pretende-se perceber como é que o cinema português sente e responde às alterações no mercado de distribuição e exibição e de que modo pode tirar partido destas tendências. / Technology is a component present in the definition of cinema. The technological evolution felt in the film industry allows, throughout its existence, new ways of producing cinema and for it to be seen by different media and in different environments. Starting from a historical background of technological evolution in cinema, from film to digital, from television to VHS or DVD, until the emergence of streaming platforms, there are several changes that have impacted the entire film industry. These shifts are experienced at a very fast pace, with no maturation times, which leads to a general instability. Digital distribution and exhibition have played an important role in this climate of uncertainty, by bringing new possibilities and changing the audience's habits. By doing so, they opened a discussion that challenges the ways of thinking, making and perceiving cinema. This project consists of the present report and a documentary with the participation of Portuguese directors, which aims to gather their views about the current panorama of distribution and exhibition in Portugal. The focus on the figure of the director is justified by their influence throughout the creative process and on the final product itself. The goal is to understand how Portuguese cinema perceives and responds to the changes in the distribution and exhibition market, and how it can benefit from these trends.

Este estudo aborda a forma como a Comissão Europeia e o Parlamento Europeu produzem e disponibilizam recursos educativos para uma audiência multilingue, identificando os métodos e desafios encontrados no decorrer desse processo. Existindo diversos serviços a produzir este tipo de recursos nas instituições europeias e vários canais de comunicação e investigação, o foco recaiu maioritariamente sobre aqueles disponíveis no site Learning Corner (Espaço de aprendizagem). Para melhor conhecer os métodos de trabalho e fases do processo, foram entrevistados um total de oito profissionais, os quais têm intervenção nos momentos de criação, tradução ou publicação destes recursos educativos. As entrevistas foram realizadas de forma individual seguindo um protocolo de entrevista semiestruturada e permitiram identificar os principais desafios e as práticas implementadas. Os resultados revelam as especificidades do processo de criação de recursos educativos nas instituições europeias, o impacto dos recursos humanos, o esforço necessário para a manutenção, o impacto da automação no processo de tradução e os métodos de divulgação e utilização dos recursos educativos. Todos os participantes foram encorajados a partilhar problemas encontrados no processo. Este estudo pode ajudar as escolas e docentes a melhor compreenderem as práticas utilizadas pelas instituições europeias na produção de conteúdos multilingues e a identificarem os desafios e processos impostos pela internacionalização/localização dos mesmos. / This study deals with how the European Commission and the European Parliament produce and make available educational resources to a multilingual audience, identifying the methods and challenges encountered during this process. Since there are several services producing this type of resource in the European institutions and there are several channels of communication and research, the focus fell mainly on those available on the Learning Corner website. In order to better understand the working methods and phases of the process, a total of eight professionals were interviewed. These are involved in the creation, translation or publication of these educational resources. The interviews were carried out individually following a semi-structured interview protocol and allowed to identify the main challenges and implemented practices. The results reveal the specificities of the process of creating educational resources in the European institutions, the impact of human resources, the effort required for maintenance, the impact of automation on the translation process and the methods of dissemination and use of educational resources. All participants were encouraged to share problems encountered in the process. This study can help schools and teachers to better understand the practices used by European institutions in the production of multilingual content and to identify the challenges and processes imposed by their internationalisation/localisation.
