However, this is not followed up as studies show that violence against children is a major public health issue and causes major consequences for many involved such as the individual child, the relatives and society, according to Jernbro, C & Landberg, Å (2020) in their report. There is an increased risk of significant behavioral, physical and mental health problems for children who are exposed to violence, shows Jernbro, C & Landberg, Å (2020). The purpose of this research work is to find out what consequences children suffer as a result of violence from caregivers. The survey is qualitative where empirical material in the form of three autobiographies has been used to contribute new knowledge in the survey area.
