Spektrální analýza chemického kódu / Spectral analysis of chemical code

Šimončičová, Monika January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the study of the process of grinding aggregates of particles of a mixture of powdered lanthanide oxides in the dowanol solvent. The formed dispersions were characterised and used for the preparation of printing inks and subsequently for the printing of labels with chemical codes readable by XRF spectrometry. The aim was to study the milling process, to verify the reliability of reading and recognition of marks with the appropriate codes and to monitor the influence of the additive of the up-conversion powder on the resulting relative intensities of the elements in the chemical code. The statistical significance of the differences in the averages of relative intensities was assessed based on the Student's t test.

Formulace inkoustů pro materiálový tisk chemických značek / Ink formulation for chemical labels printing

Martiniaková, Ivana January 2019 (has links)
This diploma theses is about the study of the effect of individual components of printing compositions intended for material printing of identificaton codes, read by X-ray fluorescence. Two printing technologies were used – screen printing and pad printing. The composition of the print compositions has been optimized in term of visual recognition, print repeatability, a dry matter content providing an X-ray fluorescence signal, as well as optimization of the material print process leading to the creation of invisible identification tags for archive documents.

Optimalizace tisku chemického kódu s XRF identifikací / Optimization of chemical code printing with XRF identification

Uher, Tadeáš January 2020 (has links)
The Master’s thesis deals with study printing and optimization of a chemical labels with a code readable by XRF technique. The study is focusing on the identifiability of components in chemical code through data analysis in the Origin program environment and reproducibility of the analysis. The responses of the XRF signal on real samples of historical documents were studied and possible interfering elements were identified. Based on these analyses, a recommendation was formulated for the method of evaluating the obtained data, code analysis and also for the composition of the printing formulation.

Physicochemical Characterization of PZT-Based Ultrasonic Transducer Stacks

January 2018 (has links)
abstract: A piezoelectric transducer, comprised of electroded and active pad PZT layer atop a backing PZT layer and protected with an acoustic matching layer, and operating under a pulse-echo technique for longitudinal ultrasonic imaging, acts as both source and detector. Ultrasonic transducer stacks (modules), which had failed or passed during pulse-echo sensitivity testing, were received from Consortium X. With limited background information on these stacks, the central theme was to determine the origin(s) of failure via the use of thermal and physicochemical characterization techniques. The optical and scanning electron microscopy revealed that contact electrode layers are discontinuous in all samples, while delaminations between electrodes and pad layer were observed in failed samples. The X-ray diffraction data on the pad PZT revealed an overall c/a ratio of 1.022 ratio and morphotropic boundary composition, with significant variations of the Zr to Ti ratio within a sample and between samples. Electron probe microanalysis confirmed that the overall Zr to Ti ratio of the pad PZT was 52/48, and higher amounts of excess PbO in failed samples, whereas, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry revealed the presence of Mn, Al, and Sb (dopants) and presence of Cu (sintering aid) in in this hard (pad) PZT. Additionally, three exothermic peaks during thermal analysis was indicative of incomplete calcination of pad PZT. Moreover, transmission electron microscopy and scanning transmission electron microscopy revealed the presence of parylene at the Ag-pad PZT interface and within the pores of pad PZT (in failed samples subjected to electric fields). This further dilutes the electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical properties of the pad PZT, which in turn detrimentally influences the pulse echo sensitivity. / Dissertation/Thesis / Masters Thesis Materials Science and Engineering 2018

Samband mellan viskositet på färg och kassation från tryckmaskin / The relationship between ink viscosity and rejects from the printing machine

Hellberg, Ellen January 2023 (has links)
AstraZeneca is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. Agenda 2030 places high demands on pharmaceutical companies regarding improving global public health while contributing to sustainable production. At PET Respules in Södertälje, liquid asthma medication is manufactured and packed in plastic ampoules using sterile BFS technology. These plastic ampoules are printed using pad printing technology. The print contains batch-specific information such as expiration date, product, dose, and is an important process for patient safety and traceability. To ensure this process, the printing machines are equipped with calibrated vision control system that sets requirements for the printing process. The printing ink used is mixed with a solvent to reduce viscosity and affect the properties of the color. Viscosity has not previously been used as a parameter in troubleshooting the color mixture, resulting in the assessment of whether the color mixture has been loose (low viscosity) or thick (high viscosity) being subjective. Through experimental trials and random sampling, the correlation between color viscosity and rejection from the printing machine was examined. This was done by testing several different ratios between printing ink and solvent simultaneously and monitoring how viscosity behaved over time. The tests showed that there is a range of viscosity between 350-622,4 mPa·s where no rejection related to the printing ink occurs. It was also found that a color mixture with excessively low viscosity generates problems with other components, and the results enable the standardization of work processes related to handling the printing ink.

Tištěný fotolektrochemický senzor modrého světla / Printed photoelectrochemical sensor for blue light

Papák, Jiří January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on electrochemical sensors to detect radiation in the blue region of the visible spectrum. As a semiconducting material for the manufacture of the sensor, a suspension of tungsten trioxide was found. The individual elements of the sensor were applied by pad printing techniques or screen printing. Using linear voltammetry and chronoamperometry, the magnitude of the generated current was measured and radiometric calibration was performed. The properties of the layers were characterized by profilometry, optical and electron microscopy.
