Detekce phishingu ve webových stránkách / Phishing Detection in Web Pages

Beňo, Marek January 2019 (has links)
This work deals with the design of a phishing attack detection and classification tool. The work describes techniques and forms of phishing attacks and availible tools and techniques for phishing detection. Based on the analysis of existing tools a solution for file classification is proposed. Implemented tool handles input parsing and creation of input model. Model is based on hybrid analysis of input file and URL. Using the YARA tool, YARA rules are applied which are then used in creation of input classification. Analysis of input model and definition of classification rules is enabled by implemented YARA module. Implemented solution makes it possible to define YARA rules for phishing classification based on the structural properties of a phishing file and features of source URL.

Evaluation on “My pages” for public transport in Värmland : A study on improving the user experience for citizens / Utvärdering av ”Mina sidor” för kollektivtrafik i Värmland : En studie om ökad användarupplevelse för medborgarna

Målström, Mikaela January 2021 (has links)
The digitization in public transport is aimed at all citizens, which means that everyone should be able to use IT-based services in a simple way and obtain available information. The purpose of this study is to identify the usability issues that can occur on “My pages” of county-wide bus service. The purpose is to find out the improvements that can be made to the efficiency and user experience on My pages based on the comments of the test participants.  The research questions in this study are: What usability problems can be identified on My pages? What efficiency improvements can be made on My pages based on test participant feedback and how is the user experience perceived by test participants? The methods used during this study are usability testing using eye-tracking equipment, observation, thinking aloud, and structured interview that includes background questions about the participants.  The results are based on the data collection through the test participants. Eight usability issues were identified, and eight improvement points were revealed. Eye-tracking equipment combined with gaze-plots and observation can be used to see how a usability problem arises. Test participants comments when thinking aloud and interviewing give a better understanding of testing behavior.

Analýza otevřenosti subjektů podpořených Výzvou č. 30: obsahová analýza webových stránek / Disclosure of Entities Supported by Call no. 30: Web Sites Content Analysis

Kubátová, Vendula January 2015 (has links)
Virtual world is having an increasingly important role for us. Not only it affects our personal lives but also our shopping habits. Today it is more or less a necessity to be present online for many companies. The submitted work is the first exploratory analysis of websites content of social enterprises in the Czech Republic. This sample consists of 128 social enterprises, which were supported by a Call no. 30 "Social economy" of the European Social Fund. Supported organizations gain a considerable amount of funds for thein development. With incoming public finances it is necessary to raise a question of transparency and openness of these organizations. Work describes which information is available through websites of social enterprises, evaluates their level of transparency and monitors whether these organizations recognize themselves as social enterprises. It was examined whether organizations disclose information for which they could be described as a social enterprise organization that is in compliance with the principles created by the Thematic Network for Social Economy (TESSEA) a network, which created the first Czech definition of social enterprise. The results show that most social enterprises have a website. However, although the information sought on websites were more or less basic,...

Návrh informační architektury nové internetové prezentace Národního archivu / Proposal for Information Architecture of the New National Archives' Website

Šuraba, Martin January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with the issues of information architecture for the web sites. It is not just a theoretical approach to a problem, but also an approach to a specific practical problem. Information architecture focuses directly on the Web headquarters of the National Archives. A summary of theoretical knowledge in the field of information architecture for the web site is part of the thesis. In addition, there is also a huge part of information analysis, which is based on design information architecture for a particular web site.

Ontology Generation, Information Harvesting and Semantic Annotation for Machine-Generated Web Pages

Tao, Cui 17 December 2008 (has links) (PDF)
The current World Wide Web is a web of pages. Users have to guess possible keywords that might lead through search engines to the pages that contain information of interest and browse hundreds or even thousands of the returned pages in order to obtain what they want. This frustrating problem motivates an approach to turn the web of pages into a web of knowledge, so that web users can query the information of interest directly. This dissertation provides a step in this direction and a way to partially overcome the challenges. Specifically, this dissertation shows how to turn machine-generated web pages like those on the hidden web into semantic web pages for the web of knowledge. We design and develop three systems to address the challenge of turning the web pages into web-of-knowledge pages: TISP (Table Interpretation for Sibling Pages), TISP++, and FOCIH (Form-based Ontology Creation and Information Harvesting). TISP can automatically interpret hidden-web tables. Given interpreted tables, TISP++ can generate ontologies and semantically annotate the information present in the interpreted tables automatically. This way, we can offer a way to make the hidden information publicly accessible. We also provide users with a way where they can generate personalized ontologies. FOCIH provides users with an interface with which they can provide their own view by creating a form that specifies the information they want. Based on the form, FOCIH can generate user-specific ontologies, and based on patterns in machine-generated pages, FOCIH can harvest information and annotate these pages with respect to the generated ontology. Users can directly query on the annotated information. With these contributions, this dissertation serves as a foundational pillar for turning the current web of pages into a web of knowledge.

ACTION : Adaptive Cache Block Migration in Distributed Cache Architectures

Mummidi, Chandra Sekhar 20 October 2021 (has links)
Increasing number of cores in chip multiprocessors (CMP) result in increasing traffic to last-level cache (LLC). Without commensurate increase in LLC bandwidth, such traffic cannot be sustained resulting in loss of performance. Further, as the number of cores increases, it is necessary to scale up the LLC size; otherwise, the LLC miss rate will rise, resulting in a loss of performance. Unfortunately, for a unified LLC with uniform cache access time, access latency increases with cache size, resulting in performance loss. Previously, researchers have proposed partitioning the cache into multiple smaller caches interconnected by a communication network which increases aggregate cache bandwidth but causes non-uniform access latency. Such a cache architecture is called non-uniform cache architecture (NUCA). While NUCA addresses the LLC bandwidth issue, partitioning by itself does not address the access latency problem. Consequently, researchers have previously considered data placement techniques to improve access latency. However, earlier data placement work did not account for the frequency with which specific memory references are accessed. A major reason for that is access frequency for all memory references is difficult to track. In this research, we present a hardware-assisted solution called ACTION (Adaptive Cache Block Migration) to track the access frequency of individual memory references and prioritize their placement closer to the affine core. ACTION mechanism implements cache block migration when there is a detectable change in access frequencies due to a change in the program phase. To keep the hardware overhead low, ACTION counts access references in the LLC stream using a simple and approximate method, and uses simple algorithms for placement and migration. We tested ACTION on a 4-core CMP with a 5x5 mesh LLC network implementing a partitioned D-NUCA against workloads exhibiting distinct asymmetry in cache block access frequency. Our simulation results indicate that ACTION can improve CMP performance by as much as 8% over the state-of-the-art (SOTA) solutions.
