Sledování pohybu očí pomocí platformy Raspberry Pi / Eye movement tracking using the Raspberry Pi platform

Hunkařová, Nikol January 2020 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with eye movement tracking using the Raspberry Pi platform. The theoretical part describes eye anatomy, eye detection and eyetracking. A system in Python programming language was designed in the practical part. This algorithm is able to perform the eye tracking function using the Raspberry Pi platform and the RPi Camera module. The OpenCV library is used for loading and preprocessing images from the camera. A method that detects and evaluates the direction of view after a calibration is available. The accuracy of the program is tested on three vector methods and two target methods for four screen resolutions.

Optimalizace operačního systému s jádrem Linux pro zařízení napájené z akumulátoru / Linux kernel operating system optimization for battery-powered devices

Lefler, Přemysl January 2021 (has links)
his thesis focuses on optimization of Linux-based operating system for a accumulator-powered device Raspberry Pi 4. Compared to other devices commonly used in Internet of Things projects, the Raspberry Pi 4 offers many functions within one device. However, the disadvantage is the high consumption of electricity. The aim of this thesis is to achieve greatest possible savings in electricity consumption of the Raspberry Pi 4 device, with regard to functionality of the device as a server for data collection from sensors.

Systém prevence průniků využívající Raspberry Pi / Intrusion prevention system based on Raspberry Pi

Hirš, David January 2021 (has links)
The number of discovered vulnerabilities rapidly increases. For example in 2019 there were discovered 20 362 vulnerabilities. The probability of cyber-attacks realization is high. Therefore it is necessary to propose and implement automated and low-cost Intrusion Prevention or Intrusion Detection Systems (IPS/IDS). This implemetation can focus on home use or small corporate networks. The main goal of the system is to detect or mitigate cyber-attack impact as fast as possible. The master's thesis proposes IPS/IDS based on Raspberry Pi that can detect and prevent various cyber-attacks. Contents of this thesis are focus on description of cyber-attacks based on ISO/OSI model's Link and Network layers. Then there is description of IPS/IDS systems and theirs open source representatives. The practical part is focus on experimental workspace, hardware consumption of choosen detection systems, cyber-attacks scenarios and own implementation of detection program. Detection program is based on these chosen systems and puts them together to be easily manageable.

Computational Development of Trimetallic Cyclotrimers for Gas-Filtration Applications through Non-Covalent Interactions

Williams, Christopher M. 12 1900 (has links)
Photophysical properties of an array of various polyaromatic hydrocarbons were benchmarked with B3LYP, M06 and B97D methods coupled with Pople and CEP-31G(d) basis sets. Results from the benchmark show the importance of diffuse basis sets when modeling the electronic properties of highly conjugated systems and provide qualitative reliable accuracy with certain levels of theory. B97D and M06 are applied to modeling pyrene adducts governed by non-covalent interactions in both gaseous and condensed states to reproduce experimental spectra. DFT calculations with both B97D and M06 functionals show qualitatively and quantitatively that pyrene dimer is a stronger π–base as compared to its monomer. Binding energies coupled with MEP, PCA and Qzz results show that the difference in π-basicity of the monomer and dimer impacts the supramolecular chemistry involved in adducts formed with super π-acidic silver cyclometallic trimer (CTC). Non-covalent interactions between coinage metal CTCs and ammonia/phosphine substrates is reported. Interactions between these substrates and the facial plane of the π-rich gold CTC reveal a novel interaction, where the typical Lewis acid/base roles are reversed for the substrates. Adducts formed through this type of interaction define typical Lewis bases like ammonia and phosphine as Lewis acids, wherein the partially positive hydrogens coordinate to the metallo-aromatic center through dipole-quadrupole interactions. Interactions of ammonia at the side positions is shown to heavily impact the Lewis basicity of the CTC facial plane leading to similar interactions exhibited by the ammonia-gold CTC adducts. Structural and electronic properties of the adducts modeled are examined.

Návrh a realizace ovladače LCD displaye pro Raspberry Pi / Design and implementation of the LCD display drivers for Raspberry Pi

Cepl, Miroslav January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the course work is to design and implement a driver for touchscreen LCD display. The premise of the connection the display to the microcontroller using the I2C bus and use MCP23017 circuits. Raspberry Pi B + will be used for communication with circuits MCP23017 via I2C bus. Display TFT_320QVT will be connected to the outputs of extension circuits MCP23017. Part of the display complete is also a touchscreen with XPT2046 controller. Raspberry Pi runs on Raspbian system based on the Debian Linux distribution. The driver will serve to communicate and display information on the screen. The complete will be useable for applications such as selecting settings and show main information on the display.
