Identifikace parametrů synchronních motorů s permanentními magnety / Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Parameters Identification

Dušek, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This work deals with the on-line identification of permanent magnet synchronous motor parameters. There is discussed the use of four different identification algorithms based on the least squares method and MRAS. The functionality of the algorithms is verified in Matlab - Simulink environment. Simulation results are compared in terms of rate and accuracy of identification, resistance to noise and other factors.

Robustní řízení elektrických pohonů / Robust Control of AC Electrical Drives

Pohl, Lukáš January 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this disertation is to introduce and demonstrate a new approach to robust control of AC electrical drives. The proposed robust control method takes advantage of a nonlinear nature of AC motor d-q equations to construct self-scheduled LPV stator current controller. The benefit of this approach is in maitaining the robustness without any increase in conservatism of the H infinity controller. The resulting controller achieves fast and consistent response in the entire range of operating speeds. Rejection of the load torque disturbance is achieved with nonparametric H infinity speed controller in the outter loop of the cascade structure. The combination of LPV current controller and H infinity speed controller was verified on real-time simulation platform dSPACE ds1103. Simulation results for both types of AC motors (PMSM and IM) shows that the proposed solution is not only robust with respect to operating speeds but also impervious to wide range of load disturbance values.

Odhad polohy rotoru PMSM pomocí VF signálu / High frequency signal injection method for PMSM position estimation

Moravec, Vojtěch January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the design of vector control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motors. The first part of this work deals with vector control transformations and mathematical modelling of synchronous motors. Furthermore, algorithms of sensorless control are discussed, especially HF injection sensorless methods. One of these methods was used for torque and speed control. Problem of phase delay caused by filters and it’s compensation is also discused. One of the HF injection sensorless method was implemented on both motors. The results of simulations in MATLAB/Simulink and tests of real motors on dSpace are included.

Design of an electric motor (PMSM) & manufacturing lab

Awawda, Lama January 2021 (has links)
The thesis presents deals with the design, analysis, test and control of permanent magnetsynchronous motor(PMSM). An analytical model was carried out based on the d-q frame and the equivalent circuit of PMSM, theanalytical model gives an approximation value of the machine parameters and is carried out byequations from the listed references. this phase includes many iteration steps, once the results wereobtained they were compared with the motor specifications and if they don’t match the requiredspecifications the process must be done again until the desired design is obtained. Once the analytical model is obtained a Finite Element Simulation was carried out using FEMMsoftware to validate the design, in this phase the designed machine in the analytical model isanalyzed and validated, once the simulation is done the results from both models are compared anddiscussed in the results chapter. It’s important to mark that during the design phase some design parameters were affected andlimited by some factors, for example, the air gap length has been magnified due to manufacturinglimits. The manufacturing process and the prototype building have been started once the optimal designwas selected, the manufacturing process was explained and a comparison study was made to selectthe best manufacturing process suitable and available for this thesis.

Improved Control of a Primary Linear Actuator using State-Space

Lagerström, Arvid January 2024 (has links)
This master’s thesis investigates the possibility of replacing the traditional triple cascaded Proportional-Integral (PI) controller architecture, used to regulate a PermanentMagnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), with a state-space approach. Using theory regarding PMSMs and Electromechanical Actuators (EMAs) as a foundation, the thesisdescribes the design process of the proposed control methods up until implementation. The two state-space approaches evaluated in the thesis are: a single Linear-QuadraticRegulator (LQR) method and a torque reference generating LQR together with a setof two PI controllers for current regulation. Evaluation of the chosen methods wasdone based on simulations in Simulink/Simscape, containing verified models mimicking real hardware, with several input cases. Based on simulation results, the combined LQR and PI method was deemed promisingto replace the current cascaded PI control architecture. The open end of the reportallows for further implementation and evaluation on the real platform to confirm theresults obtaiend through simulations.

Modelling and Design of a Test Rig to investigate the dynamic behaviour of a Servo driven Powertrain / Modellierung und Entwurf eines Versuchsstandes zur Untersuchung des dynamischen Verhaltens eines servogetriebenen Antriebsstranges

Wittwer, Max 26 March 2018 (has links) (PDF)
In the present work a simulation model for examining the fundamental dynamic behaviour of a servo driven powertrain is developed. This powertrain consists of a permanent magnet synchronous motor, a cycloidal gearbox and a torque motor to apply a load. On basis of this model the selection of components for the design of a test rig is possible. This leads to the constructive draft of the test rig. In order to model the system, the fundamentals give a brief overview of the components incorporated in the test rig system. With ais of the specified task the simulation purpose is defined and the modelling process enabled. The subsequent system analysis is performed intensively to decompose the system into subsystems, which are then investigated to find the optimal modelling approach for the given simulation task. Particular emphasis is put on the investigation of the cycloidal gearbox subsystem and it shows, that approaches for modelling the dynamic behaviour of the gearbox as a whole have only been published partially. Therefore, the available modelling approaches are analysed and suitable models are developed as conceptual models. Those will be formalised and implemented in Matlab/Simulink. The model is verified and simulation experiments are performed, that help in the selection of suitable test rig components. On basis of a flexible test rig, finally the constructive draft is presented.
