The work examines how the party's associates influence activity within the political party and whether they are beneficiaries of the parties success and its continual development. At first there is the definition of the far right which is complemented by the historical evolution of the term. Following this is a description of far-right groups influencing the emergence of the National Front in 1972. These groups can be observed with some similarities in the organizational structure of the groups within the National front. Therefore it is important to describe the current organizational structure of the party so it can be understood how the party is presently managed. Every political party needs enough qualified people to effectively function, in this chapter the process for recruiting new members and their training is explored. Hainz, Philip Armin January 2018 (has links)
The NEOS is a new political party that entered political system of Austria in 2013. It has succeeded in entering the lower house of parliament, elections to European Parliament and some provincial elections. The party created its party institutions, gained a base of members and entered into the general consciousness of voters. Its position and the evolution of its position in the future are the most important questions of this thesis. Typologically, we could call it a political party of new kind. NEOSs' way of functioning and code of rules are interesting. Its structure and way of acting is quite different comparing it to longer established parties in Austria. The party joined Austrian political system at the moment when it was undergoing the greatest changes since 1945. Thus it should be matter of interest to study this political party.

Česák, Vojtěch January 2018 (has links)
1 Abstract The diploma thesis focuses on defining the factors that significantly influence the frame of the pension reform in years 1990-2017. It observes the evolution of the predominant discourses relevant to each period, as well as the role of political parties, both from the point of view of individual governments and during their activity within the expert committees focusing on adjustments to the pension system. The thesis analyses the election programmes of political parties and movements, which are then confronted with the submitted variants within the I Bezděk Committee and the Expert Committee on Pension Reform. There is also a role analysis of other selected participants, who significantly contributed to the creation of possible reform options. The thesis finds answers to the set hypotheses dedicated to the issue of political parties and their interest and possible consistency in the field of pension reform. Operační prostor organizací občanské společnosti v současném Moldavsku / Shrinking Space? Civil Society Organizations in the Contemporary Republic of Moldova

Ryantová, Veronika January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with the topic of operating space for civil society organizations in the Republic of Moldova during the period from March 2017 to February 2019. The main aim of the thesis was to determine whether the case of Moldova corresponded to the concept of shrinking space for civil society defined by Saskia Brechenmacher in her paper Civil Society under Assault in 2017. Shrinking or closing space, which occurs more and more frequently in different countries throughout the world, can be defined on the basis of three main areas: tactics, impact and international reaction. The operational space for the civil sector in the Republic of Moldova differed from Brechenmacher's concept partially in the areas of tactics and international reaction and more significantly in the area of impact due to fact that that the restrictive legislation remained in the phase of a bill. As Brechenmacher's concept does not cover all aspects of operating space in Moldova, a supplementary chapter has been added. The main difference from Brechenmacher's concept was the aspect of "simulated collaboration". State officials pretended that the civil society was involved in the decision-making process, but in fact they ignored its views.

Proměna politické komunikace Národní fronty v prezidentských volbách 2002 a 2017 / Transformation of Political Communication of National Front in the Presidential Election 2002 and 2017

Prošková, Nikola January 2019 (has links)
The increasing popularity of populist parties in Europe, demonstrated in particular by their electoral success, is attracting increasing attention from the academic community. Although the phenomenon of populism is nothing new and has already been reviewed from a number of different perspectives, it still represents a diverse field for deeper analysis. The thesis deals with the case of the French National Front and its changes during its most successful election campaigns, that is in the presidential elections in 2002 and 2017. Specifically, the thesis also focuses on political communication and especially on the change it has gone through at its management level. By comparing the performance of both leaders and their agenda, the work allows a closer insight into the problem of transforming the ideological base as well as the ways of political communication. The outcome of this work is the analysis comparing the election campaign of Jean-Marie Le Pen and his daughter Marine, the current party leader. The work also contributes to the debate around dédiabolisation, or the de-demonization of the National Front launched under the leadership of Marine Le Pen.

Vlčková, Jana January 2019 (has links)
Communication of the European Parliament with the public takes place within various means and on different levels. This thesis offers an analysis of the European Parliament's communication strategy through the role-play game in the Brussels Parlamentarium. A role- play game simulating the legislative procedure of the European Union is available in all the EU official languages and it is targeted primarily at the youth between 15 and 18 years. The analysis is based on the political communication and political marketing theory, as well as on the concept of the role-play game as an educational tool. The methodological background of the analysis is embedded in the ethnographic research and its constituent methods, especially a participant observation and questionnaires survey, further completed by qualitative analysis of the visual and textual materials of the game. First, the advertising tools of the RPG are presented. Second, the course of the game is described and its transcript analysed. Third, the ways of reception of the activity by the participants are illustrated. The goal of the thesis is to show whether the role- play game is a successful communication tool of the European Parliament with the youth.
