Svět Aspergerů / World of AspergersSuková, Markéta January 2019 (has links)
World of Aspergers Annotation In my diploma thesis, which I called the Asperger's World, I elaborate on subject of specific perception of people with autistic spectrum disorder. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the following main aspects: how people with Asperger syndrome perceive their disability and whether they are recognized as part of society or stigmatized. In the theoretical part I define the term autism and Asperger syndrome. I describe certain aspects that exclude this syndrome from other autistic manifestations and point out differences in behavior and experience of everyday life of these individuals. Emphasis is placed above all on other sensory perceptions and ethical issues concerning children and adolescents. Their integration into common school classes, the perception of teachers, classmates and parents. The practical part contains three case studies on which I would like to show how difficult it is to deal with this disability from the perspective of the parents of the affected child. Furthermore, the expressions of children and adults themselves with Asperger syndrome, pedagogues, classmates, friends and co-workers. In the discussion, I compare my knowledge with sources used, and in the end, I evaluate the given issue. Key words Asperger syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, integration...

Gender dysforie u osob s poruchou autistického spektra / Gender dysphoria in persons with autism spectrum disorderLukina, Julie January 2020 (has links)
The master thesis copes with gender dysphoria (GD) in persons with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The quantitative research was chosen to study this topic. The main goal was to determine whether people with mild ASD have a higher prevalence of GD or higher rate of GD compared to the general neurotypical population (NT). The main methods used in this research were: Autism Quotient Questionnaire (AQ-10) and the Gender Identity/Gender Dysphoria Questionnaire in Adolescents and Adults (GIDYQ-AA), which made it possible to determine the degree of GD and the potential co-occurrence of a diagnosis of gender incongruence (GI; according to ICD-11). In the research there were 196 subjects with the age ranging from 16 to 74 years. The ASD group was compromised 90 persons and in the NT group there were 106 people. While in the NT group no one admitted transgender identity, in the ASD group 2.2 % of subjects informed about transgender identity and 14.4 % of the autistic group were not sure about it. Based on the GIDYQ-AA results, 4.4 % of people with ASD had a low score indicating a possible presence of a diagnosis of GD (GI). Furthermore, the research found that women with autism had significantly higher rate of GD than both women in the NT group and men with ASD. Overall, subjects with ASD achieved...

Vliv fyziologicky kontrolované motoriky na biomechanické vlastnosti geometrie průřezů dlouhých kostí. / The influence of physiologically controlled motor activity on biomechanical cross-section properties of long bones.Jindrová, Alena January 2011 (has links)
The mechanical loading affects the long bone cross-section geometry (CSG). The aim of this thesis was to examine experimentally the relationship between the locomotory parameters and cross-sectional properties of long bones, and to test some partial knowledge of the bone mechanical adaptation. Two groups of B6CBA mice were examined: (a) Lurcher type (model of olivocerebellar degeneration; n = 10) and (b) control (normal mice; n = 10). We analyzed the motor characteristics and the bone cross-sectional geometric properties. The motor tests included the test of spontaneous motor activity (Open field), strength properties (horizontal bar) and motor coordination (rotarod). Cross-sections were taken in 50 % of the left tibia biomechanical length and further processed for fluorescence confocal microscopy. We analyzed the biomechanical properties of cortical bone cross-sections (software ImageJ). There were nonsignificant differences in CSG parameters (TA, CA, Imax, Imin, J, Imax/Imin) between Lurcher and control mice. The results did not support our assumption about the effect of motor disorder on CSG properties. We did not demonstrate the effect of local factors on the bone biomechanical adaptation. The results of this thesis may be useful to find new testing possibilities of cortical bone in...

Praktický dopad sociálních služeb na kvalitu života a duševní stav psychicky nemocných / Practical impact of social services on the quality of mentally diseased people's lives and psychic conditionsKolářová, Tereza January 2020 (has links)
1 Abstract This dissertation is talking about the topic: practical impact of social services on the quality of life and physical disposition of mentally diseased people. Using professional literature symptoms of the disease were processed, which are characterized by a psychosis and a disruption of the contact with the reality. A treatment and social worker's approach were described to these symptoms. In following chapters the dissertation is dedicated to social security of the patient, new methods when working with the client and also to ethics. The aim of this dissertation was to find out which impact social services have on the life of a mentally diseased person. Using interviews with social workers, questions to the given aim were answered. As a supplement to the dissertation, case studies of people with a mental disease were compiled. These case studies together with interviews are very beneficial and prove that social services are key in the life of mentally diseased person.

Štěpení a disociace u schizofrenie / Splitting and Dissociation in SchizophreniaPěč, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
The term splitting is defined as a process of formation of mental aggregates linked incompatible experiences producing numerous divisions in mental apparatus. Current findings indicate that psychological splitting in schizophrenia is likely specifically presented on a neural level as disrupted organization in neural communication. This disrupted neural communication likely underlies deficits in mental processing described by various neuroscientific concepts such as theories of disturbed connectivity, corollary discharges and dynamic complexity. In this context, a purpose of the theoretical part of the dissertation is to describe basic neuroscience theories that complementarily reflect interrelated processes between mind and brain underlying disturbances of mental integration that likely present a neural representation of the splitting. A purpose of the first part of the empirical research was to examine relationships between psychological process of splitting and disturbed cognitive and affective functions in schizophrenia. A sample of patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) was used as a control group in this study. Methods: In the clinical study, we have assessed 30 patients with schizophrenia and 35 patients with BPD. The symptoms of splitting were measured using self- reported...

Predikce terapeutické odpovědi při léčbě afektivních poruch repetitivní transkraniální magnetickou stimulací / Prediction of the therapeutic response in the treatment of affective disorders using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulationAlbrecht, Jakub January 2021 (has links)
Prediction of the therapeutic response in the treatment of affective disorders using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation MUDr. Jakub Albrecht Summary Background: Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is an effective and safe neuromodulatory treatment of several neuropsychiatric conditions. Treatment resistant depression (TRD) is becoming the leading cause of morbidity and mortality. The design was narutallistic and observational. Methods: The cohort (2016-2018) contains 39 depressed patients (STAR*D grade ≥3). The parameters of TMS were: 10 days of 10 Hz stimulation with an energy of 100 % of motor evoked potential (MEP), 1500 pulses in 15 trains over the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Self-reporting scales were administered prior to and after the final stimulation: Zung's Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Beck's Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and Quick Inventory of Depressive Symptomatology (QIDS-SR). Co-medication was not altered. Results: The subjective effect was significant and widespread with a median decrease: in SDS of 10 points (from 75 ±8.16 to 65 ±9.56), 59 % of patients improved ≥10 % from the baseline; in PSS of 4 points (29 ±5.34 to 25 ±5.90), 62 % improved ≥10 %; in BAI of 4 points (46 ±13.72 to 42 ±11.51), 54 % improved ≥10 %; in QIDS-SR 6 points (17...

Partnerské vztahy u hraniční poruchy osobnosti / Romantic Relationships and Borderline Personality DisorderKalinová, Nelly January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the psychosocial functioning of couples including a woman diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. To describe their functioning, a study following 16 clinical couples was performed and their characteristics were compared with a control sample of 21 couples. Three areas were monitored: personality styles of partners of women with BPD, attachment dimensions and partner satisfaction and its interrelationships with the mentioned variables. Data were obtained using a test battery consisting of the following questionnaires: PSSI, ECR-R-16 and DAS (the subscale for partner satisfaction). The results of the study showed that the borderline personality style in women is associated with similar and complementary personality traits in their partners, while these features of the partner are significantly higher in comparison with the control sample. The research also confirmed the predominance of the insecure attachment in women with borderline personality disorder and their partners. Borderline personality disorder is also connected with lower partner satisfaction as compared with the control sample, and the degree of the satisfaction is negatively linked with borderline personality style and styles that are closely associated. Partner satisfaction also shows negative...

Narušená Funkce Hipokampu u Modelu Obsedantně-Kompulsivní Poruchy Vyvolané Quinpirolem / Hippocampus Dysfunction in Quinpirole Sensitization Model of Obsessive-Compulsive DisorderBrožka, Hana January 2020 (has links)
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a serious psychiatric condition manifested by repeated thoughts followed by stereotypic compulsive behavior. Alterations to cortico-thalamo-striato- cortical circuits are most often implicated in the pathophysiology of OCD. However, many studies have also found a changed volume, shape and activity of the hippocampus in OCD patients. This work focused on the activity of hippocampal CA1 cells during stereotypical checking behavior and on cognitive flexibility in a quinpirole (QNP) sensitization model of OCD. The activity of CA1 hippocampal cells during stereotypical checking was assessed in an enriched open-field test in QNP sensitized rats. Arc+ (activity-regulated cytoskeletal associated protein, or Arg 3.1) mRNA expression profiles were determined in CA1 coronal hippocampal sections following stereotypical checking. After the establishment of stereotypical checking (10 sessions), rats were exposed to the arena and sacrificed after 5 minutes. QNP sensitized animals visited the same objects with the same frequency as during previous sessions, while control rats did not. Locomotor activity was comparable between QNP treated rats and controls. Following sacrifice, rat brains were flash frozen and sliced to 20 µm thick sections. Sections, mounted on slides, were hybridized...

Hodnocení vývojové dyspraxie u dětí a adolescentů se zaměřením na lateralitu a u dětí a adolescentů se specifickými vývojovými poruchami školních dovedností / Evaluation of Developmental Dyspraxia in Children and Adolescents in Relation with Handedness, and in Children and Adolescents with Learning DisabilitiesJínová, Anna January 2015 (has links)
10 Annotation This diploma thesis deals with relations between developmental coordination disorder (or developmental dyspraxia) and laterality and handedness. In the theoretical part this work summarizes actual knowledge about the origin and the development of laterality and handedness and describes possibilities how to examine it. It also deals with knowledge about developmental coordination disorder, its characteristic, etiology, prevalence and diagnostic possibilities. The aim of the practical part was to evaluate motor difficulties in children with right and left handedness and to compare differencies. The Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2 was used for that evaluation. Motor skills in 64 children (30 left-handed and 34 right-handed) were evaluated. We haven't found any difference between those groups of children, their results were very balanced. We have also tested the motor skills in children with crossed eye-hand laterality, any significant difference hasn't been found in comparison with standard population. The group of children with learning disabilities has been also evaluated, we have found statisticaly significant difference between their motor skills and motor skills of standard population.

Primitivní reflexologie a její souvislost s lokomočním vývojem / Primitive reflexology and its relation to the evolution of locomotionPejcharová, Martina January 2014 (has links)
In the theoretical part, the thesis "Primitive reflexology and its relation to the evolution of locomotion" summarizes the knowledge of movement management and postural control. The main part is focused on individual components which are tested according to developmental kinesiology as spontaneous motor activity, primitive reflexology, postural reactibility. End of the main part addresses the issue of exit examinations. The practical part is focused on finding connections of the components according to the developmental kinesiology test as a screening method. In the second mentioned part of the study were found significantly important connections between the palmar grasp reflex and the Collis horizontal reaction. Other relationships which we verified weren't statistically proven. This concerns the relation of plantar grasp reflex and Collis horizontal reaction, Galant reflex and Landau reaction, suprapubic reflex and traction response and at the end the extension crossed reflex and traction response.
