Identifikace s matkou u pacientek s mentální anorexií / Maternal Identification in Anorexia Nervosa

Choroušová, Jana January 2021 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis "Maternal Identification in Anorexia Nervosa" is to map the developmental context of the onset of anorexia nervosa in female patients related with the formation of relationships with immediate caregivers and the detailed focus on the daughter's relationship with the mother. The theoretical part offers a cross-section of psychoanalytic theories that specifically deal with such process. These are mainly the object relations theory, the attachment theory as well as the recent theory of mentalization. The initial premise of the whole work is the femininity itself, the age of the patients when the period of adolescence and female gender are amongst the main risk factors for the development of anorexia nervosa and contribute to the disproportion between male and female patients. The concept of identification between daughter and mother within the separation-individuation process is described both in early childhood and during adolescence. The empirical part focuses on a particular examination of the patient's relationships with primary caregivers, the immediate environment from childhood to adulthood and the factors involved in the development of the disease. Through a semi-structured in-depth interview, the study monitors key moments of psychosocial development in four...

Vaření a stolování za časů války a míru: Proměny kontextů a módů produkce, přípravy a konzumace jídla v Srebrenici, Bosně a Hercegovině / Cooking and Dining in Times of War and Peace: Changing Contexts and Modes of Food Production, Preparation and Consumption in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Cooking and Dining in Times of War and Peace: Changing Contexts and Modes of Food Production, Preparation and Consumption in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina Mgr. Markéta Slavková Abstract (English) This project opens up the topic of armed conflict and subsequent post-conflict development in the Former Yugoslavia from a non-traditional perspective - that of the anthropology of food. At the centre of attention there stand the ways in which the production, preparation and consumption of food were and are carried out in Srebrenica, BiH in the context of the dramatic changes that the region has undergone over the last few decades. Food is the precondition of reproduction, a primary form of interaction with the world, a mediator of socialization, a sign of identity and social cohesion but also a tool of power. In this sense, Farquhar notes that the "mantra" 'You are what you eat,' continues to be thematized by social sciences (Farquhar, 2006: 146). On the other hand, the question of the relationship between social actors and their "daily bread" in conditions of starvation and overall material scarcity in wartime has not been satisfyingly answered. This project, based on long-term ethnographic fieldwork, addresses these issues more closely, affording greater insight into them.

Projevy teorie objektivizace na sociálních sítích u žen trpících poruchami příjmu potravy / Manifestations of the objectification theory on social networks in women suffering from eating disorders

Foitlová, Karolína January 2021 (has links)
(In English): This master's thesis examines the type and frequency of activities on social networks and video games with an emphasis on activities that support the objectification of one's own body or are in direct connection with it. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of these activities on the Czech national-wide sample, focusing on respondents who show signs of eating disorders. The evaluation was based on a questionnaire survey of more than 1000 respondents and the results were analyzed mainly by using contingency tables. Based on the results of this research, it is not possible to confirm a direct relationship between self-objectification and ways of new media usage, but some activities correlate directly with people who show an unhealthy relationship with their own bodies. In conclusion, specific steps are proposed for a more suitable survey of self-objectification and recommendations for further research.

Potrava kormorána velkého (Phalacrocorax carbo) v konfliktních lokalitách / Diet of great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) in conflict localities

Ráslová, Pavlína January 2015 (has links)
vi Abstract Continental subspecies of the great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis) is the Czech Republic's most important fish-eating predator. It causes damage to production fish, as well as sport fishermen and even after its removal from the Czech list of endangered species in 2013, it did not disappear from the spotlight of both local fishermen and researchers. This thesis evaluates the qualitative and quantitative composition of the cormorant's diet during winter 2011/2012 at two selected locations: the Žehuň pond (Kolín district) and Berounka river in the natural reserve Zábělá near Pilsen. This work studies the main components of cormorant's diet in the selected locations and evaluates potential fluctuations and changes in its composition during winter. The study also conducted the analysis of the proportion of commercially harvested valuable fish in cormorant's diet and studied its diversity of the species spectrum. The resulting data for the two sites were compared with each other and with relevant literature. Regurgitated pellets analysis, as well as analysis of diagnostic bones and fish remains located at the sleeping roosts (night roosts) were used for the diet analysis. It was found that at both sites roach was the most caught fish, but from the point of view of total biomass, it was...
