The master thesis "Zikmund Reach and his photographic collection" focuses on Zikmund Reach's photographs of old Prague. Firsty theis describes the history of Czech photography, which if followed by the topic of Prague's redevelopment and its influence on photography. The main topic is based on the photographic albums of "Disappeared Prague" and a extensive collection of "Prague types", which is a period, sociological reflecion of society in the second half of 19th century. Finally the thesis focuses on archives in which is the collection of Zikmund Reach stored in and their mutual thematic coherence. In conclusion the thesis focuses on the Institute of Art History Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and its collection of photographs which come from the collection of Zikmund Reach.

The subject of this dissertation is Prague Fire Brigade. The purpose of this thesis is a basic element of integrated rescue system presentation in a context of legislative requirements and their practical impletion. A complex insight on fire brigade functioning, which provides fire protection in the metropolis, should eventuate.

Thesis focuses on the theory and practice of process analysis. The main objective of this paper is describing the theory of process analysis and its application at the Prague City Hall, particularly processes related to procurement. Thesis describes these processes and suggests their improvements. Thesis will also design the processes that relate to the procurement of City Hall. The work is divided into two parts. The first part deals with a purely theoretical basis of process analysis and the second (analytical) part is focused on the specific application of this knowledge on process analysis of the Prague City Hall, specifically on the processes related to procurement.

The aim of the diploma thesis is designing the transport infrastructure for the new building of the 4 apartment buildings in Letovice. The design documentation for building permission contains direction and height solution of the building, static and pedestrian traffic and also design traffic signs and outlook’s ratios. The whole newly emerging site is designed as zone 30.

This diploma thesis deals with the current use of traditional folk culture in the form of souvenirs. These are tendencies that have accompanied traditional folk culture since its extinction in the natural environment. The work will focus on these manifestations in a selected part of Prague center. It maps the range of offer souvenirs and focuses on them in relation to three key groups. Sellers, tourists and residence of Prague. In conclusion, the work tries to address the issue in an applied way, by designing its own part of the concept of traditional folk souvenirs, which are inspired by regional specifics. From a theoretical point of view, the work pay attentetion to the very source of inspiration for this type of souvenirs, the theories that are associated with traditional folk souvenirs and a selected ethnographic region.

The thesis is focused on medieval mural defined period 13th and 14th century in selected churches former settlements near Prague, which became a part of it in the course of the following centurie. In the introductory part I pursue the mural itself, its technology, mission and function in the space of a medieval church (cap. 2.). I did not forget outline stylish currents that came through from neighboring countries and were absorbed into the painter's developement in our country during 13th and 14th century (cap. 2.2.). The next section is devoted each painting decoration in selected churches. Most attention was directed to the former church of St. Lawrence bellow Petrin hill, which thanks to the unique preservation of several layers of time and style mural lets as show the developement of painting in selected two centurie (cap. 3.). Followes the paintings in the church of the Beheading of st. John the Baptist in Dolní Chabry, in the church of St. John and Paul in Krteň, in the church of St. Bartholomew in Kyje, in the church of the Assumption in Dolní Počernice, in the church of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist in Hostivař and in the church of the Birth of the Virgin Mary in Průhonice (cap. 4.-9.). This diploma theses deals with the issues of music in movies. However, it is also focused on the life of Varhan Orchestrovič Bauer, one of the temporary Czech film music composer. I approached his life through a biography and an interview. Then I developed the matters of film music upon his work. First, I discussed the historic point of view and than the practical one - three interviewees helped me with that. Futher, I described the process of recording in Smecky Music Studio and I also analysed two parts of soundtrack from the movie Against the Wild which was composed by Varhan Orchestrovič Bauer and demonstrated the use of film music in educational practice. Last but not least, the results of a questionare are introduced to show how people perceive film music and its composers.

Fire Rescue Service of Capital of Prague is the subject of this thesis. Generally, Fire Rescue Service is the fundamental element of Integrated Rescue System. FRS of Capital of Prague's primary objective is to protect life, health and property in the case of fire and other emergency events. Area of Capital of Prague is markedly specific in comparison to other regions of the Czech Republic. It puts increased requirements on the labour of Prague's fire fighters. The main aim of this thesis is to obtain integral look in the function of Fire Rescue Service of Capital of Prague and to propose steps that could eventually help to improve conditions for the provided service.

The current situation in the historic centre of Prague does not allow for interference in the behaviour of investors. The tools for protection of Prague Historic Reservation are insufficient. Much of the real estate is not used and becomes ruins, resulting in an irreplaceable cultural and social, but also economic loss to the Prague Historical Reservation which is on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state of Prague Historic Reservation as well as to suggest possible solutions. Analyses, own research, interviews and statistics have been used to prove the situation. There is a part of the thesis comparing the current state with other cities abroad (e.g. Vienna, Dresden, Cologne, Paris).

This master thesis is focused on elaboration of project documentation for constructing autosalon in Žďár nad Sázavou. Project and appendix are processed by current applicable laws, regulations and standarts. Designed object is situated on plat #6167/2. Both plat sis parts of cadastral area of Žďár nad Sázavou. There are all needed engineering netwoeks nearby. Object is divided on two functional parts, which are operationally and constructionally connected. First part is exhibition and representatice hall, which are capacity of 7 exhibited vehicles. Other partis formed by administrative facilities for staff including sanitary facilities for both staff and visitors. Second part is service for personal and light commercial vehicles with four working stations. Construction is designed reinforced concrete columnar structural system. Plan dimension autosalon is 31,06x22,6m. Plan dimension autoservise is 30,74x18,84m. The cladding autosalon is designed of ceramic tile 250mm. The cladding autoservis is designed of sandwich panel. Roof of building accross the surface is flat roof. Establishment of the object is a combination of footings and foundation belts. Cladding of exhibition hal lis more than 50% glazed. Parts of autosalon and autoservise are designed as sigle storey objects, while administrative part is designed as a two.
