Dolovací modul systému pro dolování z dat na platformě NetBeans / Data Mining Module of a Data Mining System on NetBeans Platform

Výtvar, Jaromír January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this work is to get basic overview about the process of obtaining knowledge from databases - datamining and to analyze the datamining system developed at FIT BUT on the NetBeans platform in order to create a new mining module. We decided to implement a module for mining outliers and to extend existing regression module with multiple linear regression using generalized linear models. New methods using existing methods of Oracle Data Mining.

Predikce škodlivosti aminokyselinových mutací s využitím metody MAPP / Predicting the Effect of Amino Acid Substitutions on Protein Function Using MAPP Method

Pelikán, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
This thesis discusses the issue of predicting the effect of amino acid substitutions on protein function using MAPP method. This method requires the multiple sequence alignment and phylogenetic tree constructed by third-party tools. Main goal of this thesis is to find the combination of suitable tools and their parameters to generate the inputs of MAPP method on the basis of analysis on one massively mutated protein. Then, the MAPP method is tested with chosen combination of parameters and tools on two large independent datasets and consequently is compared with the other tools focused on prediction of the effect of mutations. Apart from this the web interface for the MAPP method was created. This interface simplifies the use of the method since the user need not to install any tools or set any parameters.

Predikce vlivu aminokyselinových mutací na sekundární strukturu proteinů / Prediction of the Effect of Amino Acid Substitutions on Secondary Structure of Proteins

Hyrš, Martin January 2013 (has links)
In this thesis I investigate the effect of amino acid substitutions on secondary structure of proteins. I found that the secondary structure is relatively resistant to mutations, some regions hold the same secondary structure, even though their sequences are very different. Since this effect was observed also for random sequences, I conclude that it is a general property of the amino acid sequence. The particular elements of secondary structures are differentially sensitive to the changes caused by mutations. Protein's sensitivity to mutations depends on the composition of its secondary structure. Some methods of secondary structure prediction are described in the introductory section.

Bezeztrátová komprese videa / Lossless Video Compression

Němec, Jaroslav January 2012 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with lossless video compression. This thesis includes basic concepts and techniques used in image representation. The reader can find an explanation of basic difference between lossless video compression and lossy video compression and lossless video compression limitations. There is also possible find a description of the basic blocks forming the video codec (every block is described in detail). In every block there are introduced its possible variants. Implemented lossless videocodec was compared with common lossless videocodecs.

Získávání znalostí z obrazových databází / Knowledge Discovery in Image Databases

Jaroš, Ondřej January 2010 (has links)
This thesis is focused on knowledge discovery from databases, especially on methods of classification and prediction. These methods are described in detail.  Furthermore, this work deals with multimedia databases and the way these databases store data. In particular, the method for processing low-level image and video data is described.  The practical part of the thesis focuses on the implementation of this GMM method used for extracting low-level features of video data and images. In other parts, input data and tools, which the implemented method was compared with, are described.  The last section focuses on experiments comparing extraction efficiency features of high-level attributes of low-level data and the methods implemented in selected classification tools LibSVM.

Modul pro dolování v časových řadách systému pro dolování z dat / Time-Serie Mining Module of a Data Mining System

Klement, Ondřej January 2010 (has links)
The subject of this master's thesis is extension of existing data mining system. System will be extended by the module for the time series data mining. This thesis consists of common introduction to data mining issues and continues with time series analysis. Thesis then also contains some of the current tasks and algorithms used in time series data mining, follows by the concept of the implementation and description of the choosen mining method. Possible future system's improvments are disscused at the end of the paper.

Využití umělé inteligence na kapitálových trzích ke snížení rizika obchodování / The use of artificial intelligence in the capital markets to reduce the risks of trading

Orság, Štěpán January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with the prediction of trading at financial markets and by using the prediction is trying to reduce the risks of entering at the market. The prediction has been work out by using of artificial intelligence. The artificial intelligence is in this thesis represented by neural networks witch model and predict market behavior. The thesis contains a description of the financial markets, exchange trading and its analysis, and artificial intelligence methods. The main part of this thesis is a model for prediction of prices of a particular instrument. This model was developed in MATLAB and should serve as a support for making business decisions. Its aim is to predict the direction and magnitude of movement the price level for the next trading day. The output of this model is processed using the platform MetaTrader 4. At the end are evaluated possible gains from this solution.

Polohově závislé plánování přenosu dat pro aplikace procházení distribuovanou virtuální scénou. / Location-aware data transfers scheduling for distributed virtual walkthrough applications.

Přibyl, Jaroslav Unknown Date (has links)
Provedené experimenty nad testovacími daty ukazují, že navržené schéma plánování přenosu dat umožňuje dosažení vyšší efektivity přenosu dat a vyšší kvality renderovaného obrazu během průchodu testovací scénou.

Odhad volebních výsledků respondenty a jeho využití / Estimation of the election results by respondents and its usage

Červinková, Monika January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis "Estimation of the election results by respondents and its usage" discuss the methods of predicting the election results based on election expectations of individuals and shows how people form their expectations and how exact these expectations are. First short summary of existing methods of election results predictions and its limitations is presented - it also deals with pre-election surveys and its ambitions to predict the election results. The rest of the thesis focuses only on the prediction of the election results based on election expectations of individuals: prediction markets and aggregated estimations of respondents. Concept Wisdom of Crowds, from which both approaches originate, is presented together with concrete examples of application of the predictions based on opinions of prediction markets participants and respondents of the pre-election surveys. Results of the foreign studies confirm that the prediction markets predict the election results very well and with higher accuracy than the pre-election surveys. Current studies also positively evaluate the estimation of the election results done by respondents. Respondents are usually able to predict the election results, even several weeks before the elections. Last part of the thesis is based on my own quantitative...
