Hydraulika otopných soustav / Fluid power heating systemPaták, Jiří January 2013 (has links)
The theoretical part deal with problematic of fluid power heating system. The experimental part deal with measurement of the characteristic of circulation pump and measurement of valves - ball valve. The project solves the heating and hot water preparing for the new administrative building in Žďár nad Sázavou. The building has 3 floors. As a source of heat for the winter season is designed gas boiler, for hot water preparing is also used the same gas boiler. The heat source is placed in a separately accessible room.

The aim of diploma thesis is creating calculation algorithms off single types unconventional heat transfer equipment and their aplication in thermal - hydraulic calculations in the industrial aplication . The main attention is paid to shell and tube heat exchangers with ROD and disc baffle system and radiation heat exchanger. All of these exchangers are used mainly in process of waste thermic destruction. The theoretical part of the work describes construction details of each heat exchanger and calculation algorithms of these equipments. The practical part of the work applies theoretic calculation alghortims in the industrial aplication which is design and rating. In the final part advantages and disadvantages of results have been assessed for construction and process aspects.

Návrh a optimalizace fluidního roštu z hlediska funkčnosti a ekonomiky výroby / Fluid grate design and optimalization in the function aspect point of view and economy of productionVoráč, Petr January 2010 (has links)
The Master´s thesis deals with the fluid layer, with types of fluidized layer and with problems which can be solve during design of new fluidized beds. The aim was find the fluidized grid, which is the best form economical and technological point of view. In this work are compared three fluidized grids. The first was part of submission. Next two additional types were then proposed by the author of thesis. Proposals grids are discussed in detail from the design phase, through the modeling and subsequent simulation part in a computer program. The results of simulation are pressure losses. Which are compared with the recommended interval values. Afterward these tested beds are put through technical and economic analysis. The result is grade which is met both requirements.

Návrh dvoutlakého horizontálního kotle na odpadní teplo / Proposal of horizontal dual-pressure heat recovery steam generatorSlíva, Karel January 2016 (has links)
The focus of this thesis is a proposal of a horizontal dual-pressure heat recovery steam generator. The introductory part includes thermal calculation, as well as a design of the layout and a design of the heat transfer surfaces and the layout of the boiler. Individual chapters are broken down according to the outline of the proposal for the arrangement of the heating surfaces, according to the parameters of the flue gas and steam. The master thesis contains a scheme of a real heat transfer temperature diagram and it also includes the calculation of connecting and downcomer pipes and drums. The final part describes the calculation of the boiler draft loss. The main idea of the thesis is accompanied by the technical documentation of the drawing of the boiler.

Optimalizovaný návrh sacího kanálu turbínového motoru / Optimized design of turbine engine intakeKubo, Michal January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis deals with design of a subsonic intake which is used to supply small jet engine integrate into the fuselage of agile small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Some kinds of these intakes are listed in order to inspire and introduce future designers into this part of jet plane design. This thesis contains a small amount of theory about compressible flow, and necessary knowledge which are important to know before the very first attempt to design an intake. Two models were designed in order to prove that the theory listed in this thesis is useful and can be used as a guide in design process of subsonic intakes. Both designs have the same layout. S-duct design with one intake placed on the belly of fuselage was chosen. After CFD analysis of first model it was found that there are huge area with separated flow and vortex. Separated flow leads to big total pressure loss and pressure distortion. While designing the second model the emphasis was to avoid this vortex and improve flow conditions. This optimization was success and the second design have smaller pressure loss in compare to the first design. The difference is more than 50% at fly speed M=0,8.

Simulace tepelně-aktivovaných základových konstrukcí budov / Simulation of thermally activated foundation structures of buildingsSliva, Matěj Unknown Date (has links)
Diploma thesis deals with geothermal foundations. The aim of the thesis is to find optimal way of pipe winding for heat-carrying liquid in foundation piles. The problem is solved by CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent. Determinative parameters like the pressure loss, heat fluxes and U-value in one pile circuit with two ways of pipe installations – Single coil, where reverse pipe is led in the middle of pile and Duplex Coil with reverse pipe in spiral shape are observed.

Development and assessment of CFD models including a supplemental program code for analyzing buoyancy-driven flows through BWR fuel assemblies in SFP complete LOCA scenariosArtnak, Edward Joseph 31 January 2013 (has links)
This work seeks to illustrate the potential benefits afforded by implementing aspects of fluid dynamics, especially the latest computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling approach, through numerical experimentation and the traditional discipline of physical experimentation to improve the calibration of the severe reactor accident analysis code, MELCOR, in one of several spent fuel pool (SFP) complete loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA) scenarios. While the scope of experimental work performed by Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) extends well beyond that which is reasonably addressed by our allotted resources and computational time in accordance with initial project allocations to complete the report, these simulated case trials produced a significant array of supplementary high-fidelity solutions and hydraulic flow-field data in support of SNL research objectives.
Results contained herein show FLUENT CFD model representations of a 9x9 BWR fuel assembly in conditions corresponding to a complete loss-of-coolant accident scenario. In addition to the CFD model developments, a MATLAB based control-volume model was constructed to independently assess the 9x9 BWR fuel assembly under similar accident scenarios. The data produced from this work show that FLUENT CFD models are capable of resolving complex flow fields within a BWR fuel assembly in the realm of buoyancy-induced mass flow rates and that characteristic hydraulic parameters from such CFD simulations (or physical experiments) are reasonably employed in corresponding constitutive correlations for developing simplified numerical models of comparable solution accuracy. / text

Armatury v otopných soustavách / Fittings of heating systemsKlus, Lukáš January 2018 (has links)
The theme of this diploma thesis is fittings of heating systems and it is divided into three parts. The first part deals with this topic on theoretical level. In the second part, there is a calculations and drawings that deals with heating and water heating of the apartment building in Uherské Hradiště. This part is solved in two variants concerning hydraulic balancing and regulation of the heating system. The last part of the thesis is an experimental solution and processing of pressure loss results of selected valves. These results are compared with the values reported by the manufactures of the valve.
