Dopad procesní a datové integrace na efektivitu reportingu / Impact of the process and data integration on reporting efficiency

Sys, Bohuslav January 2013 (has links)
Nowadays, when the difference between failure and success is amount of the available information combined with exponential growth of the available information on web leads to rising need to track the quality of the data. This worldwide trend is not only global, but it affects even individuals and companies in particular. In comparison with the past these companies produce higher amount of data, which are more complex at the same time, all to get a better idea about the real world. This leads us to the main problem, when we not only need to gather the data, but we have to present them in such way, so they can serve the purpose for which they have been gathered. Therefore the purpose of this thesis is to focus on processes following the data gathering -- data quality and transformation processes. In the first part of the thesis we will define a basic concept and issues, followed by methods necessary for acquiring requested data in expected quality, which includes the required infrastructure. In the second part of the thesis we will define real-life example and use the knowledge from previous part to design usable solution and deploy it into use. In conclusion we will evaluate the design compared to the result acquired from its real-life utilization.

Dukuze Muziranenge, Marie-Aline Brigitte 09 1900 (has links)
Around the world, the identification of people or households benefiting from social interventions remains a challenge. In countries where the majority of the population works in the informal sector, lives on subsistence agriculture and/or lives below the poverty line, targeting people who have to benefit from an intervention requires methods that are different from income verification and from the classification of poverty on a monetary basis. In 2014, an experimental project entitled Cadre commun des filets sociaux au Nord Mali (CCFS) was implemented in Mali. The objective of this project is to identify the populations who suffer from food and nutritional insecurity and provide them with assistance (cash transfers, food assistance and prevention of malnutrition for pregnant women and children), particularly during pastoral and agricultural lean periods. The Household Economy Approach (HEA) targeting method is one of the methods used to select beneficiary households for cash transfers in Northern Mali. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors and the context that influence the implementation of the HEA method. Two villages in an agricultural commune and two fractional sites in a pastoral commune were chosen as sites. Interviews (48 interviews (12 carried out by the student and 36 by research NGOs)) and a collection of 15 documents were conducted. Using the 23 factors in the Durlak and Dupré Implementation Analysis Framework (2008), a thematic analysis was conducted using the software © QDA Miner. The results show that the identification of households receiving cash transfers in Northern Mali is mainly based on geographical and community targeting. The factors that influence the targeting process are related to the low knowledge of the HEA method, to the weariness and low motivation of the people involved, to top down management and lack of transparency in the decision-making processes at the level of organizational structures, to the logic of domination and power relations within communities, and finally to the issues of funding and hegemonic relationships in the world of humanitarian aid and development cooperation. The difficult multisectoral coordination of social protection actors comes to support the need for new research on the establishment of a household registration system in Mali.

Analysis of Dominant Process Parameters in Deep-Drawing of Paperboard

Müller, Tobias, Lenske, Alexander, Hauptmann, Marek, Majschak, Jens-Peter 12 June 2018 (has links)
The application of the wrinkle measuring method described in Müller et al. (2017) and the subsequent evaluation algorithm of a range of deep-drawn samples were used to determine the influences and interdependencies of blankholder force, tool temperatures, and drawing height on the formation of wrinkles in paperboard. The main influences were identified and quantitatively evaluated. For the given experimental space, a regression function was derived and validated in further experiments. It was shown that a quadratic regression was superior to the previously used linear regression. The findings were discussed and compared with the results of similar experiments from past publications. Special attention was given to the wrinkles formed and the resulting quality of the formed paperboard cups. The restrictions of the data acquisition from the measuring method that was used and limitations of the model were presented to demonstrate the reliability of the results.
