The main topic of this diploma thesis is tax optimization relating to the manufacturing company and its impact on the financial reporting. The aim of this thesis is to present the individual elements of the tax optimization of the manufacturing company and evaluate their use. It is necessary to describe the taxation system of the Czech republic and corporate income tax. The researched company received grants for purchase of new machines due to operational programme Enterprise and Innovations for Competitiveness from EU. Due to that reason the part of the thesis is dedicated to this programme and the individual elements of tax optimazation, which company used. In conclusion, there is a comparison of using or not using grants for purchase of new machines.

This thesis focuses on the selection of the information system for a small machine works enterprise. One part deals with the analysis of the present conditions and demands of the enterprise. It also describes the proces of selecting the information system based on the teoretical resources.

The diploma thesis analyze problems dealing with options of rating and selection of suitable supplier. Describes used methods and procedures for the suppliers rating and focuses on use of fuzzy logic. The thesis brings to STRA spol. s r.o. a rating model of existing and selected potential suppliers that should help company with rating present and future supplier ralationships.

Purpose - The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how Industry 4.0, with a focus on automation, can influence the need for production personnel in production. Industry 4.0 is upon us, therefore it is interesting to see what importance does production personnel have for prodcution today? And how is the production staff's role in production affected by increased automation? Method - In order to fulfil the purpose of this thesis a study was made to enlighten the problem area. Together with literature study, a solid theoretical reference frame was created that further strengthens the problem area. Lastly, interviews were made with three businesses. Once all this information was gathered, an analysis was made, that lead to conclusions.  Findings - The result of this study shows that employees today are not as interchangeable as feared. The first step is semi-automation, but that does not equal the cancellation of the working man. Instead there will be a cooperation between the employees and machine. There is a risk that the number of employers in production will decrease, but machines will never replace them entirerly. The result shows that production personnel have no reason to fear technology or see it as a threat, beacuse the employee today is till an important resource.  Implications - According to the result, automation as a whole is not as big of a threat today as feared, the first step is instead semi-automation. Since the writer chose to look at bigger companies instead of focusing on smaller ones that lack the possibility to even out the difference between automation and production personnel, it might have been interesting to have their view of the matter. It might have shown a different result.  Limitations - This thesis strives to answer above mentioned questions, focus has been put on bigger, and more developed, companies. Furthermore, no attempt has been made to look closer at the employees of these companies, instead all interviews have been made with personnel working at an executive level as well as those knowledgeable in automation.

Från en svart, mörk och maskulin webbsida till en ljus, modern och frigjord tillsammans med en presentationsfilm över hur Ligistfilm arbetar, tittar vi närmare på hur besökarnas syn på företaget kan förändras. Förändringen innefattar även ett skifte i fokus, från en webbsida med fokus på företaget Ligistfilm till en webbsida med fokus på individuella regissörer. Användartester som utförts visar hur Ligistfilm uppfattas utifrån den gamla webbsidan jämfört med den nya webbsidan tillsammans med presentationsfilmen. / How can a company brand themselves and what may the effects of this be? How is a company perceived by a drastic change of image? This essay describes the creative process of a re-design of a website and the development of a presentation movie to see if the production company Ligistfilm can be perceived in a new way. From a black, dark and masculine website into a bright, modern and open-minded website along with a presentation film about Ligistfilm and their work, we will look into how the visitors perception of the company can change. The change of the website includes also a shift of focus. From being a website focusing on Ligistfilm as a company into a website focusing on their directors individually. User tests showed how Ligistfilm are perceived by the old website compared to the new one together with the presentation film.

The subject of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the economic situation of the business entity ITMS plast s.r.o., which deals with the production and distribution plastics products. The selected methods evaluate external and internal environment as well as the financial situation of company. The result of the thesis is the identification of recommendations and suggestions for improvement economic situation of the company.

Preparation and creation of a business plan of a small enterprise is a main topic of my diploma thesis. In the thesis key terms related to setting-up of an enterprise are being characterized, as well as theoretical description of a business plan and its structure is being provided. The thesis analyzes the current situation in the particular field of business that influences the setting-up of the enterprise. Finally, the draft business plan of a production company is included.

The Master’s Thesis focuses on examination and assessment of information system in the Plojhar s.r.o. company and on proposal of changes for its improvement. The theoretical part contains definitions of the basic concepts relevant to the subject of information systems and approaches to their assessment, management and administration. In the next, analytical part, the information system is examined from several points of view and a complex analysis is performed. Possible solutions of changes of the information system are presented on the basis of the analysis.
