Potenciální výstup ekonomiky ČR. Ekonometrický model. / Estimate of potential output for economy of the Czech Republic: Production function approach

Šálek, Pavel January 2012 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to estimate potential output of the economy of the Czech Republic from 1999 to 2011. In the first chapter I focus on description of the overall product of the economy, introduction and definition, mostly NAIRU approach, of the potential output and several approaches to estimate potential output. Production function is analysed in the following chapter from econometric as well as economic perspective. The most important properties of the production functions are also described in this chapter. In the end of the second chapter I deal with three most common types of production function. Estimated values of the variables in the production function including the value of the potential output of the Czech economy and relevant interpretations are presented in the last chapter of this thesis.

Produkční ideologie televizního seriálu Proč bychom se netopili / Production Ideology of the television serial Proč bychom se netopili

Štechová, Markéta January 2009 (has links)
The diploma thesis "Production Ideology of the television serial Proč bychom se netopili" deals with the production process in the making of a television serial. The initial focus was on the formation of one of the main characters, Keny, and on his position in the production as a whole. The thesis builds upon the ideas developed by cultural studies. These combine the structuralist approach inspired by the linguistics of Ferdinand de Saussure with the ideological approach based mainly on the thought of Louis Althusser. The production process is enquired into by Elena Levine who distinguishes five key categories of production. The research section which represents the core of the present diploma thesis is methodologically formed by grounded theory. It is based on qualitative interviews with those in key positions with respect to the production process. In the analytical section, the thesis operates with Roland Barthes's concept of mythologies. In the interviews, the informants make reference to the category of production routine, of the myth concerning the ideal "waterman" (the main character Keny being a symbol of this myth), of the production conditions in Czech Television and of the viewer who appears to be the ultimate instance. These categories constitute the mythology of the exceptional which...

Analýza efektivnosti - ekonometrický přístup / An Econometric Approach to Efficiency Analysis

Chylíková, Alena January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the stochastic frontier approach -- a tool for the analysis of technical efficiency. First, general outline, basic terms and approaches to efficiency analysis are overviewed. Also the theoretical background of production functions is involved, focused on the Cobb-Douglas production function. Furthermore, the frontier approach and the stochastic frontier approach for cross-sections data is covered. Based on this, stochastic frontier model with time-varying technical efficiency for panel data is introduced with respect to maximum likelihood estimation. The second part offers an application of the model to assess technical efficiency of ice hockey teams in the NHL for the 1997-2013 period. Output of the production is measured by the winning percentage, inputs are salaries of three categories -- goaltender, defenseman and centers/wingers.

Metody výpočtu potenciálního produktu / Methods for Estimating Potential Output

Skok, Daniel January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to describe selected methods for estimating potential output. In the first part, methods used for the estimation of potential output are described including the discussion of advantages and disadvantages of their application. Subsequently, the potential output from 1996 to 2016 is estimated based on three selected methods using the data of gross domestic product in the Czech Republic. The methods used are Hodrick-Prescott filter, Kalman filter and Cobb-Douglas production function. In the conclusion, results of those three methods are compared with each other and furthermore compared with results published by the Czech National Bank and the Mistry of Finance.

Potenciální produkt. Ekonometrická aplikace v podmínkách ČR. / Potential output. Econometric application for Czech Republic.

Kyncl, Jan January 2012 (has links)
I summarize different methods of potential output and output gap estimation including advantages and disadvantages in this thesis. I also applied two published models on real data for Czech Republic. Concerned models are Hodrick-Prescott filter and so called Production Approach. Both approaches are simultaneously used by ČNB. This thesis offers comparison between HP filter and production approach and comparison of Czech, Austrian and common EU-15 potential output and output gap. Potential output of Austria and EU-15 was obtained from OECD database. Comparison result refers to very similar progress of estimate obtained by univariate and multivariate method. It also shows different trend behavior of domestic economy against more developed EU countries, which is starting to be similar at the end of observed period.

Jaká je predikční schopnost metodik zjišťování produkční mezery pro vývoj nezaměstnanosti? / What is the Predicative Ability for Unemployment Rate of Different Methodologies for Output Gap Estimation?

Holá, Martina January 2010 (has links)
The submitted diploma thesis is dedicated to the calculation of the estimation of output gap by three estimating techniques (Hodrick-Prescott filter, Kalman filtering, and Cobb-Douglas production function) for the Czech Republic during the years 1995-2009, and, consequently, to their usefulness for testing the Okun's law as a suitable predicative tool. In other words, which of the mentioned methods is the most appropriate one for an accurate prediction of the rate of unemployment. To achieve this, the Box-Jenkins methodology is used for modelling and designing the cyclical unemployment forecasts and dynamic version of the Okun's law. The results indicate that, for the given period, there is relatively strong and unstable relationship between changes in output gap and changes in cyclical unemployment in the Czech Republic. The most suitable technique for the estimating of the future development of unemployment gap seems to be the Cobb-Douglas production function approach. This is namely based on the quantity of gained forecast errors and Granger causality.

Analýza efektivnosti ekonomik EU / Analysis of the effectiveness of the EU economies

Charvátová, Petra January 2009 (has links)
Analysis of technical efficiency can be carried out by several possible approaches, such as a deterministic parametric approach, deterministic non-parametric approach (data envelopment analysis) and stochastic parametric approach. The content of this work is an analysis using stochastic parametric approach and deals with the efficiency computed by the help of production functions. The best known and most commonly used aggregate production function is a Cobb-Douglas production function, which is a modification of the static formulation of a relationship between variables and factors of production. The analysis of efficiency can be explained by using of different factors. In this work, the effectiveness is analyzed by the export value of controlled entities and dependent on GDP and public investment. Technical efficiency is studied comparing twenty-seven European Union economies. The analysis is applied to the universal values of the variables and the values per capita.

Vliv teplotních a hyperoxických podmínek na růst, příjem krmiva a fyziologii hybrida sivena arktického (Salvelinus alpinus Linnaeus, 1758) a sivena amerického (Salvelinus fontinalis Mitchill, 1815)

ČEJKA, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis should have tested growth abilities during different temperature and oxygen regime in hybrid between brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) and arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus) culture. There were survival, growth, feed conversion, weight heterogeneity of fish and somatic indexes as followed indicators. The hypothesis was discovery of differences in growth and mentioned indicators during rearing in water with different temperature and oxygen regime. This thesis consists of two done experiments. There were tested five temperature regimes (7, 10, 13, 16 and 19 °C) in the first experiment. Each of tested groups was repeated four times. The experiment took place 84 days and biometric data were measured always after 21 days period. Results showed that the highest weight growth was achieved in fish reared at 13 °C as specific growth rate achieved 4,12 ? 0,21 % × day-1. Higher temperature regimes (16, 19 °C) are not suitable for rearing of Salvelinus hybrid. Survival of tested group reared at 19 °C were only 41,4 ? 27,3 % after the end of the first experiment. At lower temperatures efficient feed conversion were not managed and specific growth rate were lower than at mentioned temperature 13 °C. There were four tested groups permanent hyperoxia (120 130 %), hyperoxia only during a light part of a day, oscillating hyperoxia/normoxia and permanent normoxia (85 95 %) in the second experiment. Each of tested groups was repeated three times. The experiment took place 63 days and biometric data were measured always after 21 days. There were no difference in survival among tested groups and after the end of the second experiment survival was 86,0 ? 1,4 %. The highest specific growth rate were achieved at the normoxia group 1,48 ? 0,05 % × day-1 and at the group where fish were reared under hyperoxia only during a light part of a day - 1,38 ? 0,10 % × day-1. The most efficient feed conversion was mentioned at the fish reared in permanent normoxia and permanent hyperoxia.

Vliv úpravy krmiv na produkční ukazatele v chovu tržního kapra na rybnících Rybářství Třeboň / INFLUENCE OF FEED PROCESSING TO PRODUCTION PARAMETERS IN MARKET CARP CULTURE AT TREBON FISCHERIES

HLAVÁČ, David January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this study was to examine the production efficiency of processed triticale and compared to unmodified triticale during 135 day feeding experiment on ponds in the system Naděj. Dosing of feed, feeding technique and condition of the market carp in experimental ponds, the quality and quantity of natural food were observed. At the end of the experiment the main production indicators were evaluated and data were statistically evaluated. Higher production efficiency of mechanical and thermally processed cereals was not proved. The highest production efficiency was observed in variant with triticale supplementary feeding without processing (FCR ? 1.4; SGR ? 0.97 %.d-1; PER ? 6.74) and in variant with thermally processed triticale (FCR ? 1.63; SGR ? 0.88 %.d-1; PER ? 5.79). The lowest effective production was reached using grinded triticale (FCR ? 1.68; SGR ? 0.86 %.d-1; PER ? 5.62). Results were affected by different levels of quantity of zooplankton in the monitored ponds.
