Testování produkční účinnosti speciálních krmiv pro sumce u tržního keříčkovce červenolemého (Clarias gariepinus) v recirkulačním systému / Testing the production efficiency of special types of feed fot catfish in a rearing of African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) in a recirculating systemČTRNÁCT, Petr January 2012 (has links)
The main objective of this diploma thesis is compare the production efficiency of special types of feed for African catfish in experimental conditions in a recirculating system with biological treatment of water. It was tested four different types of floating feed, differing in the proportion of main components, the chemical composition and determining - for catfish (CatCo GROWER - 12 EF, CatCo SELECT - 13 EF and CatCo GROWER - 13 EF), respectively salmonid fish species (Dibaq Trout Evolution). The primary outcome indicators was the growth rate, individual weight (and it's variability), feed conversion ratio, the cost of feed consumed per unit of growth and product quality, evaluated according the average dress-out percentage of skinless fillets, organoleptic assessment and chemical composition of flesh.

Přeprava vybrané komodity v rámci mezinárodního obchodu / Transportation of specific commodity in international tradeVEČERKOVÁ, Iveta January 2013 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis was to provide a comprehensive overview of the international transport of commodities with regard to its nature, time and cost efficiency. As a commodity suitable for examination were selected cut flowers. Based on the analysis of modes of transport was partial objective to propose directions for transport of cut flowers in the air and road transport with regard to the nature of commodities, time and cost efficiency. Another objective was to map the centers of production and consumption of cut flowers. Under this objective has been paid great attention to the center of international trade in cut flowers Netherlands and trading on local exchanges.

Ekonomie zdravotnictví: Co nás zabíjí a co uzdravuje? / Health economics: What heals us and what kills usJanovský, Stanislav January 2012 (has links)
This study deals with the health production function. It analyzes the impact of health care, socioeconomic, lifestyle and environmental factors on the mortality and life expectancy of the population of the Czech Republic. The analysis is made by linear regressions with time series data for the period from 1993 to 2011. Health care is measured by health care expenditures or by non-monetary indicators, the number of doctors and the consumption of pharmaceuticals. The results show that higher health care expenditures increase the mortality and reduce life expectancy. On the other hand higher number of doctors and higher consumption of pharmaceuticals improve the health status of the population. It may indicate inefficiency and corruption in health sector. Important factors that positively influence health are wealth, education and fruit and vegetable consumption, smoking affects health negatively. The results suggest that health care policy should focus not only on effective allocation of health care expenditures but also on lifestyle and socioeconomic status of the population. The limits of this work are short time series which don't allow the use of the lagged explanatory variables.

Sociálně ekonomické a prostorové determinanty výskytu nemocí z povolání v automobilovém průmyslu v Česku / Socioeconomic and Spatial Determinants of Occupational Diseases in the Automotive Industry in CzechiaJarolímek, Jan January 2017 (has links)
Health and reducing disparities in health between and within countries are among the principal global sustainable development objectives for the period 2016-2030. The incidence of Occupational Diseases (OD) is characterized by very distinct differentiation, both regional and sectoral, and has considerable dynamics in time and place. Given that Czechia is at the top among all EU member states in terms of employment in the automotive industry and production of new vehicles, new research on OD in the automotive industry acquires importance. The Ph.D. Thesis is conceived as an ecological correlation study focusing on the study of the determinants of OD in automotive industry. Its own core work is to analyze 32,646 cases of OD (in the past 20 years) and a set of data from a survey of 247 companies of the automotive industry (employing nearly 110,000 employees, i.e. 78 % of the economically active population working in this sector). In the present work are used available data from routine statistics, data from registers and basic sanitation data from a questionnaire survey. The study innovatively links research of Global production networks and medical-geographical approach. At the end of the Ph.D. Thesis, specific outcomes for praxis and discusses possible topics for further research in this area are...

Mediální výchova na školách - kriticko-analytický či produkční přístup / Media education at schools-critical-analytic or production approachRočňák, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis, which is entitled "Media Education in schools - critical-analytic or production approach", is to map the current state of practice of media education in a sample of secondary schools (gymnasiums) in central Bohemia. Our goal is to provide readers with broader theoretical insight into the concept of media literacy (as a goal of any media education), to capture a brief history of development of the perspective on the role of media education, as well as to examine how media education is incorporated within the Czech system of secondary education, and also to reflect on its possible forms of implementation. Last but not least, the intent of the thesis is to describe two basic approaches to media education, both of which are directed to development of media literacy. Our research led by a combination of questionnaires and interviews with educators suppose to be used as a tool that should help us to bridge the theory with an image of factual practice. The research part primarily aims to provide insight into framework of the current practice of teaching media education in secondary schools in central Bohemia, and through interpretation of the main remarks points to (at least) basic issues which teachers of media education must deal with.
