Orientador: Theresa Maria de Freitas Adrião / Banca: Pedro Ganzeli / Banca: Raquel Fontes Borghi / Resumo: A presente pesquisa, financiada pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (Fapesp), objetiva a caracterização, na legislação brasileira, das instituições privadas sem fins lucrativos, com o foco nos institutos. O período retratado no estudo se dá do início da República no Brasil até o ano de 2002. Primeiramente, objetivou-se identificar e caracterizar o chamado Terceiro Setor. Em seguida, identificou-se dentro do período republicano dispositivos das Constituições Federais, além de leis ordinárias e leis complementares, que caracterizem ou remetam a classificação adotada como instituições privadas sem fins lucrativos, dando ênfase à caracterização dos institutos. Por fim, objetivou-se caracterizar os institutos dentro do aparato legal brasileiro, tendo em vista a classificação da natureza jurídica do Instituto Ayrton Senna, utilizado como exemplo na pesquisa. Para desenvolver os objetivos adotados utilizou-se como recurso metodológico a revisão bibliográfica de autores da área, pesquisa documental e a realização de entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que a natureza jurídica das instituições privadas sem fins lucrativos está regulamentada, atualmente na legislação nacional, somente como associações e fundações. In my Diploma work there are evaluated possibilities of non-profit-making organization`s developement on a case study of Salesian seminary {--} Youth centre in Ceske Budejovice. To reach the goal, there were analysed following aspects: history and nowadays conditions of organisation, analysis of contemporary developement and also the quality of service performation. Another analysis evaluated human resource management and improoving of performing service, the maintenance of contemporary financing and fundraising. Salesian seminary should concentrate on increasing of both human resource management quality and enhancement of work organisation. With anticipated increasing number of employees there should be woked on quality service increasing to satisfaction and higher attractivity of all hobby groups, actions and summer camps. Another important aspect is the maintenance of contemporary financing and fundraising by successful receiving of European Union structure grants. Salesian seminary has already started with some parts of transformation process. Hopefully all plans are going to be realised successfully. Last few years are in the name of organisation`s developement and others suggested revisions are going to be realised in following period. That is the right way how to increase the quality of performed sevices.

Title: Strategic planning in sport federation - Czech Pole & Art Sports federation Objectives: The main goal of this diploma thesis is to make a strategic plan for the Czech pole and art sports association by using each step of strategic planning and necessary analysis. The case study of the association should show up an unutilized potential, which could be very profitable. This would be useful for the position of the Czech pole and arts sports federation within this new sports discipline. Methods: I used a mixed research, which contains quantitative and also qualitative research, concretely a written questionnaire, an interview, an analysis of documents and a SWOT analysis. Results: Results of the analysis were the main part for the making of the strategic plan. The goals and the tasks which needs to be done are divided and shown by the time schedule of its realization in the tables. Every cloud has a silver lining : Swedish social enterprises making an impact in emerging marketsHansson, Josefine, Larsson, Jennie January 2018 (has links)
Throughout the history, different types of businesses have reflected the zeitgeist of the specific era. Today, the globalization has led to the rise of the third wave of internationalization, which has increased the importance of emerging markets in the global business environment. An additional global trend that reflects today’s businesses is to fulfill social purposes along with making profit. The latter global trend entails the rise of the social sector in industrialized countries, including social enterprises. There is currently no universal definition of social enterprises as well as a lack of theoretical contribution on those; however, there is a lot of passion for the topic. In Sweden, social enterprises are associated with work integration social enterprises (WISEs), although other types of social enterprises exist, for example those finding opportunities in social issues in emerging markets. The purpose of this thesis is therefore to increase the holistic awareness for a wider concept of social enterprises in Sweden. To be able to increase this awareness, the aim is to examine how Swedish social enterprises turn social issues in emerging markets into business opportunities. It is further interesting to emphasize the challenges social enterprises are facing, as well as how they use their business models and strategies inorder to cope with the challenges. This study is carried out through a qualitative case-study of three Swedish social enterprises that are or were operating in emerging markets to some extent. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with one representative from each enterprise. The findings show that social enterprises have the ability to turn social issues into business opportunities. In addition, being able to balance making social impact with profit-making is one main challenge for Swedish social enterprises, especially in emerging markets as the enterprises’ core mission might be questioned regarding who their operations will benefit. The findings of this thesis have also shown that social enterprises commonly are taking the whole value-chain into account. Furthermore, as emerging markets are fast-changing and uncertain, it is difficult to plan ahead for what to come. Finally, as this thesis’ purpose states, it is thus crucial to increase the awareness and knowledge of these kinds of social enterprises since this will help them improving and increase their social impact.

The aim of the thesis was to elaborate strategic analysis of non-profit making organization. There is a theory of strategic analysis, strategic management and financial analysis in first part. The theory is applied for a specific non-profit making organization Pop Balet o.s. in second part of the thesis. The organization provides high-quality and systematic dance education for children and youth. Pop Balet o.s. is supposed to be a leader in the dance industry. At the end of the thesis there is recommendation for future development of the organization based on elaborate strategic analysis.

Den svenska andrahandsmarknaden har under senare år växt sig allt starkare. Förklaringarna till det fenomenet är bl.a. den rådande miljödebatten och konsumenters nya medvetenhet till deras konsumtionsbeteende. Konsumenten har i dag ett behov att ha en individualistisk stil, vilket kan vara en anledning till secondhand-branschens nyvunna trendstatus och snabba expansion. Lågkonjunkturen, som drabbade Sverige 2008, kan även vara en anledning till den expanderande marknaden. Secondhand-branschen domineras av två olika typer av verksamheter, de ideella och de vinstdrivande secondhand-företagen. De två verksamheterna har olika syften som konsumenten kanske inte alltid uppmärksammar när han/hon väljer att handla andrahandskläder.Vårt syfte med studien är att jämföra ett ideellt och ett vinstdrivande secondhand-företags interna arbeten, samt analysera likheter och skillnader företagen emellan. Vi har valt att analysera företaget Myrorna, som får representera den ideella secondhand-verksamheten och företaget Beyond Retro som får representera den vinstdrivande secondhand-verksamheten. Vi avgränsar oss till företagens interna arbete samt den svenska secondhand-marknaden.Vi har genomfört en jämförande studie mellan två fallföretag och vi har strategiskt valt ut tre respondenter från företagen. Vi genomförde två personliga intervjuer samt en mailintervju. Information samlades även in genom företagens hemsida, litteratur samt artiklar.Våra teorier är byggda på de funktioner som vanligtvis bedrivs inom ett företags interna arbete. Det finns dock ett undantag gällande teorierna som kallas för ”reverse logistics” som inte är lika vanlig. Teorin handlar om att man återanvänder eller återvinner produkter och placerar dem i en ny värdekedja. Övriga teorier kopplas till företagens inköpsprocess, prissättningsstrategi, organisationsuppbyggnad samt marknadsförings- och varumärkesstrategi.Vi har sammanställt vår information om företagen genom att först skriva en allmän beskrivning om respektive företag. Vi delar sedan upp informationen om deras interna arbete i fyra underrubriker – organisationsstruktur, butiker och insamlingsprocess, prissättningsstrategi samt marknadsföring.I resultatet har vi diskuterat ett antal likheter och skillnader inom företagens interna arbete. T.ex. olikheterna i deras organisationsstruktur, vilket mestadels beror på företagens storleksskillnader. Beyond Retro använder sig av en klassisk inköpsprocess och Myrorna får in sina varor genom gåvor från allmänheten. Beyond retro kan ta ut högre priser genom sina produkter p.g.a. en högre budget och mer specialiserad personal. Myrorna lägger dock mer fokus på att hitta dyrare second handplagg och har därför höjt priserna på sina produkter. Inom marknadsföringen har Myrorna en bred kommunikation ut till kunden och Beyond Retro använder sig av en mer avsmalnad och inriktad kommunikation till konsumenten.
