Title: Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine and compare the emotional reactions of pupils during the sport lessons on secondary schools. We focus on the seventh and eighth graders, boys and girls at the age from twelve to fourteen. The goal is to statistically process and compare the results between the genders and between schools in urban and rural areas. Determine the reliability and internal consistency of the items from the individual factors in the selected DEMOR questionnaire. Evaluate the determined data in synoptic tables and graphs. Methods: The method of questioning was used in this work. To meet the objectives we analysed the responses obtained from the DEMOR questionnaire. Through this survey, it is possible to record the emotional reactions of the pupils and their perceptions of experiences they had to get information about the climate during physical education lessons. The survey was conducted on twelve secondary schools in rural and urban areas in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results indicate that, positive feelings prevail in current physical education classes. We found only a very slight difference in positive and negative feelings among the schools in rural and urban areas....

This diploma thesis addresses the issue of mutual attitudes among teachers and pupils at the upper-primary-schools. The thesis is based on the assumption that the teacher-student rapport is the significant determinant of the educational process. The aim of the thesis is to determine the factors and the ways of affecting mutual attitudes among pupils and teachers at upper- primary-schools. The theory section of the thesis focuses on the issues of attitudes and of the personality of a pupil and teacher at the upper-primary-school and on the interaction between them. The thesis describes the factors affecting mutual attitudes among pupils and teachers as well as the characterics of adolescent. It also describes the teacher's personality and his role in the educational process. The objective of the research section is to identify the characteristic features of mutual attitudes among teachers and pupils at the upper-primary-schools. Životní spokojenost dětí a dospívajících z dětských domovů / Well - being of children and teenagers from institutional care

This thesis deals with the specifics of subjectively perceived well-being of early and mid adolescents (11 - 15 years) who are curretly living in Czech foster homes. The purpose of this study is to describe whether their life satisfaction differ from those, who are growing up with biological parents. If so, in what aspects and why. The theoretical part focuses on various concepts of well-being, current institutional care situation in the Czech Republic, its benefits and risks, the developmental period of early and mid adolescence with its outstanding characteristics. In addition, the newest studies related to the topic are covered. The practical part includes mixed approaches (both quantitative and qualitative) through the KIDSCREEN- 52 questionnaire and suplemental anamnestic questionnaire. In total 53 children from 8 different foster homes filled out both questionnaires. The research results show, that life satisfaction of children in institutional care is in three domains (moods and emotions, school environment, social acceptance and bullying) lower in comparison with children who are living with their families. The diploma thesis is of theoretic-empirical character, with focus on aggression in children at middle school level. The First part describes theory, typology and development phases of aggression. The thesis also deals with the periods of pubescence. Attention is given to oddities in aggressive expressions of children in the pubescence period. Furthermore gives information about possible causes of aggression. The thesis deals also with prevention and possibilities of handling aggression. Connected with the thesis is the practical part which is made using survey research. Results are written down and compared with the in advance stated hypothesis.

The diploma thesis focuses on moving activity among older pupils of basic school in České Budějovice. The research carries out physical exercises of girls and boys during both working days and weekends in connection with fitness competence. 41 pupils of the 8th class took part in the research. They filled in the internet questionnariesof online system INDARES. To measure week activities they used pedometers. The results of the measurement were statistically worked out by the Centre of kinantropological research in Olomouc and they were recorded in tables and charts. The outcome showed students' superiority during weekdays in comparison with weekends. Physical activity of boys and girls was not much different. Link between exercises and fitnesscompetence could not be proved.

The diploma thesis deals with issues concerning the human rights of children living in a family or away from a family, using comparative views of both alternatives. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the basic facts related to human rights and children's rights, followed by details on the theme of adolescence, concretely pubescence. Changes from the perspective of developmental psychology are described, specifically in areas that have fundamental impact on adolescents. The thesis then concentrates on themes concerning the phenomenon of a family, its role, its current forms, the styles of upbringing and the methods that families use. The last portion of the theoretical part focuses on institutional care for children. The historical evolvement of institutional upbringing is described, concretely children's homes, whereby attention is paid to the risks arising from growing up in an institution. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on my research conducted in the form of questionnaires that examine the legal awareness of children aged 10 15 years. In closing, I present the findings that have been evaluated and processed graphically.
