The theoretical part of the presented work focuses on the description of the characteristics of a secondary school pupil, hearing impairment and possibilities of education of pupils with hearing impairment in the Czech Republic. Finally, it touches on the issue of distance education, a theme that has currently been very topical. The aim of the practical part of the work was to describe the course of distance education of pupils with hearing impairment in the secondary school for the hearing-impaired during the closure of schools in the academic year 2020/2021. For the purposes of the work, three Czech secondary schools for the hearing-impaired were selected. To achieve the research goal, a qualitative research design was used. Eleven teachers from the selected schools were interviewed. The interviews were then analyzed by open coding. The results of the research showed that from the teachers' point of view, distance learning appears to be demanding, ineffective, and has a number of negative effects on students with hearing impairment such as social separation from the Deaf community they identify with at school. The diploma thesis focuses on the lifestyle of pupils of the 2nd grade of elementary school. The work describes their current lifestyle, because it changes with time. It reveals some negative facts and other knowledge that can lead to a better perception of contexts and enable more conscious approaches to prevention and a more efficient selection of practices at elementary schools. The thesis describes concepts of health, prevention, lifestyle and some of its aspects, attitudes, values and the developmental stage of the older school age. The research finds aspects of adolescent lifestyle and tries to find a relationship between gender and some lifestyle specifics and describes their current attitudes and value orientation, using a quantitative research strategy through a questionnaire. The result of this work is a description of the findings related to the pubescent life.

This diploma thesis with the title The social role of pupils in the elementary school consists of two parts. There is a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part aims to illuminate further the issue of social roles in connection with other factors related to this topic. The most important chapter of the theoretical part is the chapter named Social role, status and position in which is the issue of social roles further described. Then there are discussed even specific social roles with which we may encounter in the primary school. The practical part is based on a survey using a variety of methods of students´ nominations. The aim of this work is to determine the rate of agreement in views of pupils in the class and their class teacher for the functioning of the class and social roles appearing there.

This thesis 'Factors in the popularity of teachers with pubescents' has theoretical and empirical character. The aim of the thesis is to examine factors in the popularity of teachers with pubescents in the second grade of elementary schools by the method of questionnaire. Theoretical part is focused on teachers and the period of adolescence. In the first part there are explained terms like teacher, teacher's personality, typology and authority of teachers. Further there are closely explained pedagogical competences. The second part is mostly focused on pubescent characteristics from the perspective of physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. Practical part is based on quantitative research. The aims and assumptions of research are stated in this part. Questionnaire survey is based on answers of students of three elementary schools in České Budějovice. Results of research are accompanied by tables and graphs. Assumptions are verified in conclusion as well as summarized findings of teachers' popularity with pubescents.

The thesis deals with the understanding of metaphors and symbols by children of older school age, i.e. the period of adolescence. Subsequently it turns to the conception of metaphors and symbols in individual areas of human life and thinking. It is concerned with the area of aesthetics, in particular with art, drama, music and literature. Further, it studies the conception of metaphors and symbols in philosophy, sociology, psychology (especially social and depth psychology), religion and bible studies. The practical part sums up the findings introduced in the theoretical part and infers from them the consequences for the religious pedagogy and didactics of symbol focused on the older school age. In the final part, several exemplary teaching lessons are outlined, which correspond to the introduced theoretical and practical pedagogical findings and which aim at helping the adolescents to disclose the world of metaphors and symbols not only in religious sphere.

The dissertation deals with formalization a value orientation in pubescence in a relationship with internet use. The general angle of the dissertation is theoretic, the most methods that are used are descriptive methods and partly relational methods. The general structure of the dissertation is divided to four basic chapters. First chapter defines terms of attitudes and values from the philosophic, psychologic, sociologic and pedagogic perspective. The second chapter deals with a pubescence phase, its difficulties from the viewpoint of formalization of a value orientation. The third chapter is focused on internet and there are generally mentioned eventual effects resulting from its use. The fourth chapter finally summarises the foregoing chapters with the accent on formalizing a value orientation in pubescence in a relationship with internet use.

The intention of this dissertation is a special investigation of a new innovative approach to reduce the weight of pubescent and adolescent people with overweight and fatness by creating positive changes in self-control and self-respect using an interventional active programme. The goal is to determine a method to reduce the overweight and describe the correlations of psychic conditions and social risks of the overweight and fatness of pubescent and adolescent people. The basis of the programme is several techniques of yoga and yoga configuration. The investigation observed 224 participants and the interventional programme was undertaken by 133 participant of the age of pubescence and adolescence. The programme was applied for twelve weeks. After finishing the interventional active programme, the body weight and BMI were reduced and positive significant changes were reached in shortage of hypodermic fat and decrease in depressive states and anxiety of the participants of the programme. Generally, the anthropometric measurements were implemented in case of 1136 participants. The established hypothesises have confirmed the right supposition of the effect of the interventional active programme. The ascertained data were processed statically and evaluated in collaboration with the Gartner{\crq}s Biomedical Laboratory of CTU Prague.
