The Reconstruction of User-Interactions from HTTP traces for RIAs

Baghbanzadeh, Sara January 2016 (has links)
A user using a Web application generates HTTP traffic which can be captured and logged to be used for further analysis such as finding potential security holes. This document provides a method to reconstruct user-interactions from HTTP network traffic with a specific focus on RIAs. The only input provided is the full, unaltered HTTP network traffic of the original user-session. This thesis presents a system to replay HTTP trace for reconstructing the user-interactions using a programmable Web browser that is used to simulate user's actions and to execute client-side scripts. The experimental results show that the proposed solution in this thesis leads to a system which has a good performance in reconstructing user-interactions. The system performs an automated reconstruction of the user-interactions which reconstructs every DOM state that has been visited by the user during the user-session and the actions taken by the user, including user-inputs provided by the user.

This thesis aims to analyze the teacher teaching practice History of reference school in the state of Pernambuco to conduct an educational project based on the games of language, the roleplaying game (RPG) in the classroom. Establish the theoretical discussions analysis of teaching practice from the perspective of Paulo Freire, discussions on teaching knowledge, mainly aportadas by Maurice Tardif and on games supported by Johan Huizinga and games and education Gilles Brougère. The research is characterized as a case study of ethnographic type, according to the mean Marli André and was held from participant observations of seven high school year 1 classes where the teaching project was carried out, followed by semi-structured interviews with the teacher, the educational coordinator and 25 students, and documentary analysis of the material produced by the students. Data analysis was made in the light of the content analysis, based on thematic analysis technique, as he conceives Laurence Bardin. The educational project that gives title to this dissertation, Alea Jacta Est, unveiled the role of the research subject teacher in addressing the main problems of school research field, as well as highlighted the enormous potential of the teaching practice and teaching knowledge built by the teacher conducts educational project based RPG game in the classroom in the development of reading and historical writing, in the construction of educational gains, among them highlight the practice of oral and written expression, the construction of interpretive and argumentative skills, knowledge construction school records, so the assumption of intellectual autonomy of students, and the development of social values such as ethics, teamwork, cooperation and solidarity, respect for others and listening.

Network Traffic Simulation and Generation / Network Traffic Simulation and Generation

Matoušek, Jiří January 2011 (has links)
Development of computer networks able to operate at the speed of 10 Gb/s imposes new requirements on newly developed network devices and also on a process of their testing. Such devices are tested by replaying synthetic or previously captured network traffic on an input link of the tested device. We must be able to perform both tasks also at full wire speed. Current testing devices are either not able to operate at the speed of 10 Gb/s or they are too expensive. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to design and implement a hardware accelerated application able to generate and replay network traffic at the speed of 10 Gb/s. The application is accelerated in the FPGA of the COMBOv2 card and it also utilizes the NetCOPE platform. Architecture of the application is modular, which allows easy implementation of different modes of operation. The application implements both capturing and replaying network traffic at full wire speed, but traffic can be limited to a specified value of bitrate at the output. The thesis is concluded by a comparison of the implemented application and the packet generator implemented on the NetFPGA platform. According to this comparison, the implemented application is better than the NetFPGA packet generator.

Repeatability of the Adaptation of Pseudomonas fluorescens to Low Glucose

Teselkin, Oleksiy 30 April 2014 (has links)
Inspired by Gould, who claimed life would be arriving at a different outcome each time it were allowed to run from the same beginning, I have attempted to determine the repeatability of the adaptive course of one Pseudomonas fluorescens lineage. In addition, my study aimed to establish whether the likelihood of parallel evolution of the two synonymous single-nucleotide substitutions was contingent upon a prior motility-impairing deletion or a prior increase in fitness. Further, the study was designed to provide empirical data addressing the long-standing question of the effect of starting fitness on the ensuing rate of adaptation. Although no exact replay of the initial evolutionary trajectory was observed, I have demonstrated that gtsB, but not gtsC gene, is likely to be a mutational hotspot under the low glucose with a recovery of two undescribed mutations in gtsB. My data are consistent with a notion that substitutions in gtsB may be contingent upon Δ35kB(fliJ-PFLU4466) motility-impairing deletion, but not the fitness increase associated with it. Finally, the features of the adaptive landscape of P. fluorescens in the minimal glucose provide languid support for Fisher’s hypothesis of a decrease in adaptation rate with the rise in the starting fitness. Taken together, these original results reinforce the non-negligible role of history in shaping the outcomes of biological evolution and call for caution in attempting a formulation of rigid predictive models of evolutionary change.
