This thesis empirically investigates alarm and prosocial words in online news headlines and the associated reads (the number of clicks), responses (including the number of likes, dislikes, and comments), and relays (the number of shares). I analyze over 170,000 online news headlines and mainly the associated number of reads and likes for each news story on an online news platform. Theoretically, based on the meta-level evolutionary theory－evolution by natural selection－I propose a middle-level evolutionary model of prosocial media effects from a nature-nurture interactive perspective. Then, I propose a specific evolutionary model that was derived from the proposed middle-level model, the human alarm system for sensational news, a psychological mechanism designed to detect and concern threatening news. I generate research questions from the specific model to test whether news headlines with alarm words attract more likes as a survival concern indirectly through an increased number of reads as a selection device, and whether prosocial words in headlines serve as a moderator. The results of a conditional indirect effect model showed that given that online readers click on (i.e, read) news headlines with alarm words, the fact that it has a prosocial word in the headlines leads readers more likely to "like" it. The empirical findings' theoretical and methodological contributions, research agenda, and examples of implications for future studies are discussed.

This diploma thesis describes the process of reporting of occurrence in the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on the description of the current reporting process and requirements. The second part describes the possibilities for improving the reporting process for organization.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of fair value measurement of tangible long-lived assets under IAS/IFRS. It is objective is to assess the impact of revaluation of long-lived assets from their historical prices to their fair value. The work further characterizes the harmonization of the accounting systems and detailed described IFRS 13 – Fair Value Measurement. The work is focused on company describing particular the valuation methodology as well as specific data on the asset. At the end of the work the potential risks of users of the financial statements are displayed.

The focus of this master’s thesis is orientated on the area of reporting in the environment of a selected corporation, more specifically in the company ATS aplikované technické systémy s.r.o. In order to achieve this outcome, first of all theoretical knowledge is gathered and based on it, a practical analysis is developed. Results obtained in this way are furthermore used to create proposals of changes , which represent the final part of this thesis.

Reporting and its analysis in Šroubárna Kyjov, spol. s r.o is the subject of this thesis. It begins with theoretical part to present the topic. Furthermore, current situation in the company is analysed in detail. Based on results of previous parts practical and productive suggestions are recommended to continue improving financial re-porting for this particular company.

The diploma thesis consists of design and steps leading to build of data warehouse in startup developing SaaS product. Theoretical information about data warehouses and business intelligence are projected into design and following process of data warehouse development mainly for marketing data. Importing process of data into a data warehouse and reporting are fully automated.

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of reporting in a selected department in a selected company and then develops a proposal for a new method of reporting in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. The analytical part is preceded by an extensive theoretical search, which deals with information management in the organization and the essence of reporting applications.

This master’s thesis deals with design of the monitoring solution for the Power BI service. The thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical and design sections. In the theoretical part describes the theoretical fundamentals, used technologies and analytical tools. The analytical part analyzes the company Intelligent Technologies, competitive solutions and data sources for the design part. The design part proposes its own solution for monitoring the Power BI service, including the costs and benefits of the proposed solution.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to contribute to solve current problems in controlling in the civil engineering firm. I put main accent on using right instrument of controlling for specific company. Diploma thesis analyzes controlling proces in company OHL ŽS, a.s. In introduction is defined the concept of controlling and its theoretical principles. In other parts of the diploma thesis is described current sutuation of controlling in the company. In concrete example are showed proposals of possible improvement in the controlling of buildings, mainly in realization part of the building.
