Zhodnocení chovu prasat na rodinné farmě se zaměřením na reprodukční vlastnosti prasnicKrálová, Marie January 2016 (has links)
In this diploma thesis I focused on evaluation of reproductive characteristics on a selected family farm. In the first part, I conducted a literature study on a given topic, where I described fertility and milkiness of sows, the birth process and the fertility of boars. Further, I described different breeds that were used in an experiment. The final part of literature study focused on the general economic review of pig production in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. In the practical part of my thesis, I observed reproductive characteristics of sows raised on a family farm in Stavěšice. The practical research monitored the whole number of piglets born, the number of piglets born alive and the number of piglets weaned. Further, the weight and the gender of piglets was monitored as well as the preweaning losses of piglets, the gestation length, the average daily weight gain and the boar influence on the gender and the weight of piglets. The concluding part of the thesis consists of the economic analysis of pig production in general and the economic analysis of the farm in Stavěšice.

Reprodukce a intenzivní chov juvenilních ryb štiky obecné (Esox lucius L.)BONDARENKO, Volodymyr January 2014 (has links)
Fish hatcheries do not always provide optimal conditions for controlled reproduction and production of high-quality juvenile in northern pike. This study was undertaken to optimize reproduction and intensive juvenile culture of northern pike (Esox lucius L.) under controlled conditions. The efficacy of traditional treatments for induction and synchronization of ovulation in northern pike (carp pituitary or ambient outdoor conditions) was compared to that of sGnRH-a at 50 and 100 ?g kg-1 with or without Freund´s incomplete adjuvant and dopamine inhibitor (metoclopramide, 8 mg kg-1). Ovulation was observed in females treated with carp pituitary (3 mg kg-1) and in those held in ambient conditions. Sperm motility parameters were compared in northern pike and sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus Brandt). Analysis was accomplished via high speed video microscopy complemented with CASA analysis. This work described recently developed methods of recognizing and quantifying sperm quality. The data obtained will lead to more accurate modeling of flagellum behavior during the motility period and provide a deeper understanding of basis of spermatozoa motility. The effect of water temperature on duration of embryo ontogenesis and hatching period; fertilization and development to the gastrula stage; hatching rates; and quality of larvae including larval size, development, and resistance to osmotic stress under controlled conditions for northern pike were investigated. Results indicated that the optimal temperature range for northern pike embryo development under controlled conditions is 6-10oC. Northern pike embryonic development hypothetically ceases at approximately 3.3 °C. In the certified methodology the basic aspects of controlled reproduction of northern pike was described and explained, including optimization of broodstock management. An objective of the certified methodology was to describe methods for producing high quality juveniles.

Populace smrku ztepilého při horní hranici lesa v Hrubém JeseníkuŠenfeldr, Martin January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation presents research results of Norway spruce (Picea abies L. Karst) populations in timberline ecotone of the Hrubý Jeseník Mts. The work is presented in the form of five scientific articles, 3 of which are accepted for publication, or already printed. Two articles are in the form of submitted manuscripts. The first article describes the biometric and age structure of spruce populations, including the assessment of the possibility of their vegetative as well as seed-based reproduction and compares these characteristics between two vertically connected sections of timberline ecotone. The second article analyzes the influence of dwarf pine stands of different cover on the ability of vegetative reproduction of spruce and their height growth. The third article deals with the historical dynamic of spruce trees establishment within timberline ecotone. This are correlated with both temperature characteristics and agricultural land abandonment during the last 100 years. The fourth article deals with measurements of the quantity and directions of sap flow in layering branches as well as parent and daughter trees in Norway spruce clonal groups. The article evaluates the importance of sap flow quantity in layering branch to the total amount of water use by parent and daughter trees. The fifth article substantially extends the fourth article of measurements on more interconnected tree pairs within a longer time series. Additionally, this article includes the drought stress experiment in the daughter tree and subsequent monitoring of changes in sap flow in layering branch.

Analýza chovu masného stáda plemene charolais s ohledem na welfare zvířat / The analysis of the beef breed charolais with the regard to the animal welfareVRCHOTOVÁ, Klára January 2007 (has links)
The aim of this work was evaluate the productive indexes and appreciate the behaviour of beef cattle dams reared in the system of breeding cows without market milk production. The analysis of the beef herd was performed in the agricultural company farming in above sea level altitude 650 meters. Through the years 2001 - 2006 was evaluated reproduction indexes by dams of basic herd and calves growth ability. Ethological monitoring was important for appreciation welfare conditions of breeding. Monitoring went ahead in single yearly periods in luminous parts of the day. Tracked group formed 31 pieces of dams, calves and sire.

Vliv teploty stájového prostředí na zdravotní stav selat / Influence of stable environment temperature on sucking-pigs healthPRŮŠOVÁ, Jitka January 2007 (has links)
The aim of the work was determined impact of microclimatic parameters of stabling environment at percentage of pregnant sows, and at health of sucking and young growing pigs. In sucking and young growing pigs were founded weak positive correlation between stabling temperature and mortality of weaning pigs, and weak positive correlation in comparison to humidity. There were founded strong negative correlation between grow up temperature of the environment and percentage of success pregnant sows, and strong positive correlatin in relation to relative humidity. Influence of the cooling ability of the environment and air flow speed were lower than the impact of the temperature.
