Návrh ekologického monitoringu revitalizované nivy Hučiny (NP Šumava) / (Proposal for ecological monitoring of the restored Hučina floodplain (Šumava National Park)

SLÁMA, Miroslav January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this work was to design long-term monitoring of vegetation and environmental factors which would document the effect of the planned revitalization of Hučina brook floodplain. In order to monitor the dynamics of plant communities the system of permanent plots have been designed and established. Visual estimation of cover or graphical methods were proposed for the monitoring of the development of the moss and herb layers. The method of basal cover is considered best for the monitoring of the development of the tree layer. Mapping of plant communites should be made in the form of direct mapping. The monitored water characteristics should include the groundwater level, water conductivity and pH. Beneficial additional measurement comprise estimation of total NH4+, PO43-, NO32-, SO42-, Mg2+, Ca2+, total Fe, K+, Na+, humic acids and total organic carbon (TOC). The important soil characteristics include actual soil moisture content (Wmom), the maximum capillary capacity (MKK), water-holding capacity (RVK24), bulk density, porosity and soil organic matter. In addition to the monitoring design, this work brings data on vegetation composition gathered by direct mapping and measurement of the breast height diameter of trees.

Potenciál revitalizace regionu po povrchové těžbě : případová studie Sokolov-východ

Lipovská, Zdeňka January 2013 (has links)
The Sokolov Region, which was one of the engines driving the national economy in the recent past, is now significantly threatened by marginalization. The development of the region was marked by two important phenomena: large-scale opencast mining and almost complete replacement of the population after World War II. Coal mining has been affecting the development of the region since the mid-18th century. Since the end of the World War II, when large-scale opencast mining prevailed, the region's dependence on coal mining increased. Although mining has been gradually declining since the early 80's, mining and related industries still form the base of employment (approximately 10 000 jobs). Termination of mining, which is planned for the period 2030--2035, thus may mean core problem for the region. Sokolov District is already one of districts with the highest unemployment within the Czech Republic, and further increase may result in the depopulation of the region in the final stage. The thesis analyses the current state of the Microregion Sokolov-East, compares it with other Central European mining regions, seeks for the possibilities of future development of the region, and brings knowledge of how these possibilities are evaluated by the key actors of the Microregion.

Revitalizační úpravy vybraného úseku vodního toku Rokytná

Hedejová, Aneta January 2017 (has links)
This dissertation "Revitalisation of a specific section of Rokytná water current" focuses on the respective water current between the 85,989 and the 86,999 kilometre. This section of the river is located in a land register of Rokytnice nad Rokytnou, a village approximately 10 kilometres West from Třebíč in the Vysočina region. The waterway of the river Rokytná was inappropriately shaped as straight, with the riverbed significantly entrenched constant triangular profile along the entire section. Moreover, an alley of tree species was planted along this section of the river, which further exacerbated its problematic aspects. The aim of this dissertation is to suggest a solution in line with current requirements for small-water current revitalisation projects. Moreover, the proposed solution will strengthen the ecological and aesthetical functions of the river.

Diferenciace a revitalizace panelových sídlišť v České Lípě / Diferenciation and revitalization of housing estates in Česká Lípa

Sládeček, Ondřej January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis evaluates the current state of the physical environment of the housing estates in Česká Lípa. It is focused on the process revitalization of the blocks of flats and public areas and clarifies the mechanisms of differentiation of individual housing estates from this point of view and the role of actors. The work combines quantitative and qualitative research methods. The theoretical part deals with the causes of revitalization and the factors that affect it, as well as the history of housing estates construction, especially in the Czech Republic and in major countries in Europe. The empirical part of the work is devoted to mapping the current state of the physical environment and the revitalization projects of housing estates at the level of individual prefabricated houses and public spaces. Relevant data that can have an effect on the revitalization process (history of construction of prefabricated housing estates in Česká Lípa, development and current state of ownership structure of houses, data on the structure of population and housing stock) are identified. The diploma thesis also uses information from the structured interviews with representatives of the main actors of development. It proved to be a decisive influence of the type of ownership on the successful...

Územní studie „Zbrojovka“ / Town planing study "Zbrojovka"

Šírek, Michal January 2012 (has links)
Master’s thesis addresses the problem of one of the largest brownfields in Brno, site of the former weapons factory, Zbrojovka Brno. The resulting solution is the revitalization of the area into an attractive urban structure offering a variety of spaces for self fulfillment of various groups of people represented by permanent residents, as well as temporary visitors. From the urban point of view the area is divided into a quiet zone along the banks of the river Svitava designated for housing, recreation and relaxation, the central part of mixed areas for trade, services and housing, and the administrative section along the railway line separating the living area from noise emiting railway. From an architectural point of view there is a symbiotic combination of the historical legacy of industrial buildings with contemporary concept of modern architecture into one functional unit.
