Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkami dlouhodobě udržitelného managementu krajiny v povodí řeky Úhlavy. Řešení této problematiky je reakcí na významné zhoršení kvality pitné vody pro město Plzeň, k němuž došlo v důsledku extrémně nevhodného zemědělského hospodaření v tomto povodí, jež je dlouhodobě tolerováno nečinnými kompetentními orgány státní správy i samosprávy. V rámci snahy o odstartování procesu zlepšení managementu krajiny v povodí řeky Úhlavy je realizován modelový projekt revitalizace povodí Příchovického potoka, jehož záměrem je dosažení nápravy prostřednictvím komplexních pozemkových úprav (KPÚ). Za účelem realizace tohoto záměru byla navržena určitá opatření v krajině jako podklad pro KPÚ a byl zahájen proces seznamování se s postoji vybraných orgánů státní správy k tomuto záměru a následně i proces získávání spojenců pro potřeby zahájení KPÚ v řadách místní komunity, zejména mezi starosty obcí a občanskými iniciativami. V zájmu procesu revitalizace povodí Úhlavy i jiných významně poškozených povodí v ČR pak byla na základě získaných zkušeností navržena organizační struktura, která by díky vhodnému rozdělení odpovědností, dobré koordinaci a úzké kooperaci orgánů státní správy a samosprávy umožnila nastolení udržitelného krajinného managementu v povodí.

The work addresses courtyards and their potential for a city. As an example, Brno was chosen, with its specific block housebuilding from 18th and 19th century. These green areas have a great potential here to become a spinal verdure of the city together with its parks and suburban forests. The theoretic part of the work is a literary research considering characteristic courtyards features, their revitalization possibilities from certain aspects, and their problems. Included are six reference examples of similar areas both from Czech Republic and the world, which enriched the author in different ways. The analytic part considers the authors own terrain explorations in the discussed area and two selected model courtyards. The analysis results are interpreted with graphic outputs and conclusions are drawn from them. The design part builds upon foundations from the theoretic and analytic parts. It is a study of two model objects, suitability and functionality of which is presented in sectional views and visualizations.

Brownfields and options solution are possible in several ways. However, the use of older buildings is often very difficult. Implementation regeneration of brownfields is not for new use easy and it requires a lot of incentives, especially investment. Every city should need these realizations, where those buildings or areas are located. The possibility of restoring dilapidated buildings begins thus not only a good idea to use, but mainly for geodetic surveying. The base is formed according geodetic bases whereby governing realizations resulting.
