Master´s thesis deals with the revitalization of the former arms company - Zbrojovka Brno, located in the district Zábrdovice. The area is defined by the river Svitava from west, railway line from east and street Lazaretní from south. The proposal was to convert the ravaged brownfield into functioning city organism which is not widening the problems in its neighborhood, but rather contributing to resolving their solution.

Urban and architectural study of the revitalization of BVV and its surroundings, treated in the dissertation, aims to find a new spatial and functional solution to the complex and its closer integration into the existing urban structure. To resolve this spatial arrangement of the existing barriers are broken between monofunctional often targeted sites in the area. The proposal incorporates elements of the town-in accordance with the principles of creating a compact city. The newly formed development complements existing structures in order to achieve the optimum mix of functions to enhance the viability of the area in question.

In my diploma thesis Evaluation of the flow Semíč and a draft measure I summarized the literature review dealing with the revitalization of watercourses and water pollution. The aim of the study was to conduct a survey of the watercourse Semíč and its water-shed. Another objective was water sampling and evaluation of selected indicators of water quality in the laboratory. Samples were taken and evaluated for the period 2013/2014 and the one calculated averages. Analyses of zinc, copper and aluminium have been performed with respect to their financial costs twice, once analysis cadmium. The results were compared with the data obtained from the 1992 and 2002/2003. The comparison of the results over time shows that some indicators marked improve-ment in contrast to certain values worsened. Results from the period 2013/2014 reflect the improving quality of surface waters. However, it is still necessary to improve the management of farmland with an emphasis on erosion, proper crop rotation and fertilizer application. In the future, it is necessary to focus on better drainage and wastewater treatment.

The thesis deals with the restoration design of three small water reservoirs in Zaječí stream valley. Present dams don't meet the requirements for water management and for their renovation the whole reconstruction has to be done. The main purpose is to restore ecological and hydrological functions of reservoirs with the impact on better water quality in Zaječí stream. With the restoration stable habitat with high ecological value and with the character of local biocentre will emerge. Recreational functions are demanded by developing new housing nearby. Restoration will be made by removing sediments, building new water engineering objects and by adjustment of present dam bodies. Dams will be equipped with the safety spillway.

This diploma thesis deals with apprehension of quality and vitality of the chateau park and facilitation to use it safely from public. Facts are treated according to principles of the renewal of the park, works are deal with regards to practical aspects of care of historical monuments in relation to the parks and according to extant historical materials. The created solution provides renovation of typical through view to the castle and town. On the based of realized facts ít's possible to carry out these arrangements, which will lead to the innovation of the state of health and innovation of vitality current perspective trees and new outplanting of timber species, which are consistent with the original composition with forcefully to revitalization and increase the historical value of the building. There will be the treatment of the trees and additional planting in the park within the frame of revitalization of the chateau park.

This diploma thesis of project charakter, deals with revitalization castle garden of castle Liblice in central region of Czech Republic. The main goal of this thesis is based on the curent and historical state of the castle garden, to design a project with new plantings in the parter so it imitates the original baroque style in whitch it was created efore. After that propose suggestions of procedures suitable for the revitalization of the garden and it is greenery. Theoretical part of the thesis called Literary review is focused not only on history of the village where the castle is situated but also on the history of the castle itself, baroque gardens in general and least but not last the architect of the castle and it is garden. There are also described general characteristic of the trees and shrubs, which are in the garden as well as descriptions of work during revitalization such as tree cutting techniques or lawn care. In the analytical part is briefly described charakter of the area from its location to its climatic data. There is also described curent state of the castle park focusing mainly on the architectural errors and interventions, which are going to be necesary to execute during the revitalisation. List of greenery contains all trees and shrubs in the garden since 2005 and color features the ones removed during past years. After the consultation with the director of the castle there are mentioned activities and actions for which is the castle and garden used nowadays most of which also contributes along with the curent survy to the suggestions and interventions suitable for this revitalization. Project part deals with the design of the parter behind the castle. This design is created so it imitates the former baroque parter as much as possible, but also respects condotions of its curent use. All expenses in this design will be calculated in the form of ekonomic balance. Lastly in this project, there are proposed another important interventions for revitalisation of the castle garden, They are in the form of current state photos with drawn in suggested changes. This thesis will be beneficiary for the Czech Academy of Sciences, which owns this castle and it is garden .

The thesis deals with proposal of suitable revitalizing measures in local biocentre in cadastral area Šanov (district Znojmo). The proposal aims to create a near-natural habitat, which would provide good conditions for the occurrence of wetland plants and animals and contribute to the increase in biodiversity in the area and also became functional element in terms of water retention in the landscape. The proposal is the trenched non-flow pools with fluctuating water level during the year and their vegetally connects. The thesis provides information about possible sources of funding restoration measures.

The thesis summarizes essential available information describing the chosen part of a small stream called the Anšovský potok. The next part describes the current state of its streambed, riparian vegetation and its surroundings. The thesis also includes description of the current views on revitalization of small watercourses and proposes possible revitalization modifications of the selected part of the stream. The suggested solution is based on the new land arrangement designed within the comprehensive land consolidation that was completed at the village Šanov in early 2016. In the context of the proposed modifications this study offers two conceptual solutions differing in their technical and financial demands and in the extent of use of the natural processes of ecological restoration. The study represents the information base for future revitalization projects of the Anšovský potok stream.

This thesis deals with the special protected area Holásky lakes and evaluates the succes of the four new ponds dredged on the right bank of Roučka lake designed to protect biodiversity. Through the Holásky lakes, the important landscape component Černovice stream flows which has the impact on the whole ekosystem. This area still stands out due to the floodplain forest flora and biodiversity mainly in the representation of bird and amphibian species. The newly build ponds are contributing as important amphibian reproductive location. Biodiversity and progression of the ponds and loggers were evaluated, and management measures have been proposed. The special protected area Holásky lakes requires revitalization for the biodiversity conservation and for the improvement of the present state.
