Návrh revitalizačních opatření v mikroregionech Hlinecko a SkutečskoHavlová, Monika January 2018 (has links)
Presented diploma thesis intends to focus on issues related to revitalization of post-mining areas in Hlinsko and Skuteč microregions. In selected areas within the frame of these regions, the recultivation and revitalization formerly done was evaluated. In order to obtain exact dataset the coefficient of ecological stability by Míchal and SWOT analysis was used. Results of the research show natural processes of succession for restoration of small post-mining quarries as highly efficient. Methods of revitalization practices for active quarries were proposed as well. The whole process has improved ecological stability of the abovementioned areas. Educational trail through Horky in the area A has shown that post-mining areas can serve not only as biological hotspots, but also as interesting sites for geotourism. These results constitute additional arguments for applying natural restoration as revitalization process for newly opened quarries. Even though small-scale mining is still an intervention, it has positive effects on the area, such as organisms, which were pushed out by negative human activities.

Venkovské brownfields na Šlapanicku a možnosti jejich využití pro rozvoj venkovaDrápalová, Jitka January 2019 (has links)
This work deals with brownfields in the Czech Republic, specifically in the municipalities that lie in the administrative area of the municipality with extended province Šlapanice. This is a very topical subject, as large areas of land are occupied in the Czech Republic, although brownfields could be used instead. The main goal of the thesis is to find out how the brownfields are used in the given municipalities and what are the attitudes of mayors to these objects through controlled interviews with mayors of selected municipalities. Areas of interest are villages of Jiříkovice, Sokolnice and Tvarožná. The thesis shows that in these municipalities they try to revitalise the brownfields. The thesis also points to incompleteness of brownfield databases. Field research and interviews with mayors have shown that there are objects in municipalities that are not listed in any of the brownfield databases. Mismatches can also be caused by the fact that there is no united definition in the Czech Republic of what brownfields actually mean.
