The thesis explores the theology of Dorothy L. Sayers and shows a connection between her and the post critical theology.

This thesis seeks to define the difference between commercial media and public service media, given the degree of tabloidization. The work is based on the assumption that the tabloid principles do not interfere only the commercial media, but due to the gradual development of the media industry they even penetrate the public service media. The work is focused on the reasons and forms of penetration by the tabloid media principles to the public. The theoretical section outlines the basic theoretical background and terminology to the topic of public service media and to the topic of tabloid principles. There are presented the characteristics of the tabloid media in the theoretical part, not only in theme but also in language. At first the methods used are presented in the analytic part and then work attempts to outline the current situation in the public service media, specifically on the example of radio broadcasting. The practical part of this thesis is based on the content analysis of media messages. Public media represents the Český Rozhlas 1 - Radiožurnál, concretely its news reports. This work not only tries to find the tabloid principles in broadcast of this media, but also try to make its comparison with the news of commercial media, represented by broadcasting station Radio Impuls. Aim of this work is to confirm or eventually to refute the assumption that public service media in the Czech Republic are affected by some degree of tabloidization in the form of penetration of tabloid principles.

Diploma thesis "Radio Stalin as an example of Czech piracy radio broadcast" is aimed to complexly present radio station Radio Stalin which was broadcasting in October 1990 in Prague. Radio Stalin is presented in the context of events of that time and related changes in politics, economy, society and media and in the context of piracy radio broadcast. First of all the emphasis is put on media transformation and changes in legislative framework of radio broadcasting after 1989. Radio Stalin is described through the method of oral history when interviews were held with its several cofounders. This method was chosen because of absence or unavailability of other sources. However, press is used partly. In this thesis is created overall picture of Radio Stalin. It is possible to imagine the situation and conditions in which was this radio created, the period before the start of broadcasting, the broadcasting process, the end of its broadcasting and the continuation of it. The benefit of thesis is the reminder of this often neglected radio which has its own place in the history of Czech radio broadcasting. This term paper is the second part of the dissertation FM RDS signal processing using FPGAs. In the first half of the work is processed the information needed before the actual design and implementation. These can be divided into three themes. The first theme is the received signal VHF / FM + RDS, the second one handles the problem of software radio and last topic concerns FPGAs. The second half deals with the solution implementation and receiver radio VHF / FM and bitrate optional RDS to digital form and its implementation on FPGA. The thesis Legal Regulation of the Radio and Television Broadcast in the Czech Republic deals with an analysis and description of relevant legal regulations applicable in the area of broadcasting and television in the Czech Republic and with a closer insight in the main legal institutes and entities. A theoretically-juridical opening is followed by an introduction of the Czech Republic and European Union legal systems. The core of the thesis is the main topic, which is the legal regulation of the radio and television broadcasting in the Czech Republic. This part is opened by a short historical abstract followed by chapters dedicated to particular legal regulations. The Broadcasting Act, the Act on Czech Television, the Czech Television Code, the Act on Czech Radio, the Czech Radio Code and the Act on Audio Visual Media Services upon Request are described in individual chapters. The closing part is dedicated to some of the legal regulations and their provisions that are more remotely related to the subject. Individual chapters describe relevant legal institutes of the Act on Advertising Regulation, the Advertising Council Code of Ethics, the Consumer Protection Act, the Commercial Code and the Civil Code.

The thesis Role of external radio broadcasting in the Czech public diplomacy deals with the audiovisual (radio and television) external broadcasting operated by the state. It focuses on the Czech external broadcasting represented by the radio station Radio Prague. The broadcasting is arranged by the Czech Radio and financed by the ministry of foreign affairs. The aim of this thesis is to describe the task of Radio Prague in contemporary Czech public diplomacy. It looks at the station's programming, extent of the broadcasting and its orientation. It is concerned with the relation of Radio Prague to the state and compares the Czech model with models of main democratic countries in the Euro-Atlantic space. It takes into consideration the small and medium-sized and also transition states' public diplomacy specifics. It is interested in the position of Radio Prague in the Czech public diplomacy and with the position of the public diplomacy as a whole in the Czech foreign policy. The thesis uses the analysis of relevant primary documents relating to the Czech public diplomacy and external radio broadcasting and information from personal interviews with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and Radio Prague.

(abstract) The main aim of this diploma thesis is to describe projects of selected Czech media institutions that arised from the beginning 2008 until the end of May 2019 and aimed to develop and support media literacy of the public. It will be primarily about researching of programs of the Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting, the Czech Television and the Czech Radio. We also pay certain attention to projects of other media institutions. For individual projects, the work focuses primarily on the period of origin, format, type and its thematic content. The obtained data will be summarized in a well arranged way at the end. Based on the results and with regard to the current state of media literacy in the Czech Republic, at the end of the thesis, will be proposed other formats for individual institutions that could help the development and support of media literacy. In addition to this systematic research, at the beginning the work will deal with the history of implementation of media education, that means systematic education, to achieve various levels of media literacy in the world and Czech society. The disertation is focused on development and importance of the Czechoslovak desk of the Radio Free Europe in period between 1950 and 1994. This broadcasting have gained in time of strong censorship significant and till now unresearched importance. In February 1948 the Communist party took power in the Czechoslovakia. After that Czech and Slovak democratic politicians had left country to the West. They wanted to break the isolation of people living behind the Iron Curtain and promote restoration of democracy in their homeland. In 1949 was in the USA established the National Committee for Free Europe as fomally independent citizens association. As its most known activity had became the Radio Free Europe (RFE). This radio station had became an important tool for political strugle between two blocks in time of the Cold War. Diploma thesis "School media - press, radio, television, internet: on example of regions of Olomouc and Ústí nad Labem" deals with school media production of pupils and students of primary and secondary education focusing on the Czech environment. The whole issue is framed within media literacy, media education. Moreover, the interpretation accents with its direction of production. The most important chapters of historical-theoretical part introduce the outline of the school media development from the beginning till nowadays. Practical part characterizes school media in the regions of Olomouc and Ústí nad Labem. The research survey is mainly focused on the occurrence of school media production, forms of their outputs and characteristics of individual types of school media. What is more, the survey is also interested in current trends in publishing of school and class magazines and their theme and genre profile. Survey summarizes reasons, which impedes realization of school media production. Finally, on account of compile findings and data, it deduces a school media typology, criteria of their possible categorisation and includes them into the media system. The diploma thesis The influence of digitization on the Czech media law and legal environment deals with the transformation of media law and legal environment during the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting in the Czech Republic. The text describes and evaluates change of the broadcasting legislation, and emphasizes not only the actual changes in legal regulations, but also the legislative process and influences that have affected the final text of the laws. In the introduction thesis describes the development of existing legislation, both domestic and the acquis communautaire. In further parts it answers the question how relevant, understandable and conceptual the change in the media legislation was, how these changes correspond to the current technical and organizational requirements of the media market and how the process have been influenced by jurisdictional dispute between Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting and Czech Telecommunication Office. In the second half space is devoted to the licensing procedure of new digital television and following litigation as well as a comparison with Slovak regulatory framework. Regarding the major changes of the legislation the author recommends adjustments de lege ferenda.
