This thesis describes design of new relaxation centre building in town of Velké Meziříčí and creation of blueprints for building construction. Blueprints are furthermore supplemented by extensions for heating and concrete structures. The relaxation centre houses a wellness centre, a café, a hair and make-up salon with possibility of massage and an outdoor shop. The building is located in southern part of Velké Meziříčí – an urban area of both residential and industrial buildings. The centre is a three storey building with partial basement, flat single-layered roof and stairway, which serves as an access point for ventilation engine room located on top of the roof structure. This last element is distinguished from the rest of the building by different coloured façade panelling and serves as a dominant. Wellness centre covers the whole of ground floor and is interfaced with the first floor by additional wellness centre spaces and staff spaces. The first floor also includes the outdoor shop. Café and hair salon are situated on the second floor. Architectonic design is created in similarity to surrounding buildings and in relation to cardinal direction. Land lot is utilized for wellness centre purposes.

Diploma thesis develops subject of operation of hairdresser’s saloon in Brno. It introduces analysis of saloon management and evaluation of reasons why saloon’s principal strategic objectives defined by owner before reconstruction in 2007 are not being fulfilled. Simultaneously, it suggests modifications and changes that lead to more effective saloon management, from both management and strategic point of view. Consequently, it brings more stable clients and positive financial effect. Proposal part covers specific potentialities how to define saloon’s objectives, communicate them toward employees and how to communicate with customers. Necessity of communication and pro-active approach result from other analyses as well.

Konzipiert als alphabetisch geordnetes Personenlexikon enthält dieser Teil der Publikation die Biografien der Direktoren und wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiter der Staatlichen Sammlungen für Kunst und Wissenschaft in Dresden, die zwischen 1933 und 1945 Verantwortung für die unterschiedlichen Sammlungen – von der Gemäldegalerie über das Grüne Gewölbe bis hin zur Sächsischen Landesbibliothek – übernahmen. Jeder einzelne Eintrag beginnt mit den Lebensdaten und der Nennung der beruflichen Positionen der betreffenden Person in den Staatlichen Sammlungen. Der anschließende Text skizziert deren Leben, schildert ihre Ausbildung, beschreibt ihre Tätigkeit, nimmt Bezug auf ihr politisches Verhalten. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Tätigkeit der Protagonisten in den Staatlichen Sammlungen während der NS-Zeit. Darüber hinaus wird thematisiert, ob sie nach dem Kriegsende weiterhin in Dresden arbeiteten oder ihre Karrieren andernorts fortsetzten. Die sich an jede Biografie anschließende Auswahlbibliografie gibt einen Überblick über die wissenschaftlichen Leistungen.

Überblick über die zu den Staatlichen Sammlungen für Kunst und Wissenschaft gehörenden Institutionen, unter Nennung ihrer Direktoren bzw. der für sie Verantwortung tragenden Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern. Namensänderungen und Umstrukturierungen finden ebenso Erwähnung wie kriegsbedingte Schließzeiten.

Dieses Verzeichnis gewährt erstmals einen Überblick die Ausstellungen der Staatlichen Sammlungen für Kunst und Wissenschaft in Dresden während der NS-Zeit.

This thesis concerns a peer Francis Thun (1809-1871) who was one of the most important personalities in the public and cultural life in Bohemia from the 30s till the end of the 60s of the 19th century. Thun {--} a gifted visual artist himself - was particularly interested in the institutions connected with the visual art. The author shows where his long-life interest in the visual arts was formed. She follows his childhood, upbringing, his own artistic beginning and his studies. She particularly considers his ways around Europe and his stay in Dresden, that used to be one of the most important centres of the European Romanticism, and more than a year-long traveling around England, western Europe and Italy. The last part of this thesis deliberates František Thun{\crq}s public activities {--} mainly his work in the artistic politics and in the care of monuments. This work also follows Thun{\crq}s personal life, particularly his marriage with a burgher girl thanks to it he couldn{\crq}t inherite the fideicommissum. This biography is mainly based on personal materials {--} letters and diaries. In terms of them it attempts to show Thun{\crq}s personality and his important life moments.
