Designprinciper för intuitivitet i komplexasystem / Design principles for intuitivity in complex systemsChristensson, Emil, Lindström, Joakim January 2019 (has links)
It can be difficult to achieve intuitiveness in complex systems. This study aims to identify whichdesign principles promotes intuitiveness in complex systems as well as recommendations ofhow developers can work in developing these systems. Literature of complex systems, usabilityand intuition have been surveyed. Established principles of design have been evaluated toidentify which principles relates to complex systems. A qualitative study was used to exploreand identify areas of improvement in the development of an intuitive system. The identifiedprinciples for intuitiveness in complex systems are presented and then used to providerecommendations for the areas of improvement identified in interviews. The results arecompared with theory on intuition. Lastly, the concluding remarks and suggestions for furtherstudies are presented.

Business Intelligence för små företagLindahl, Alexander, Gustafsson, Joel January 2019 (has links)

Ständigt uppkopplade : En studie av hur sociala medier i smartphonen påverkar vår vardagFlemark, Ammi, Marklund, Mikaela January 2019 (has links)
The use of social media is still going up and a lot of people are constantly available on their smartphones, which they always carry with them. Many studies show that it has adverse health effects. Therefore we would like to investigate how people experience the constant availability through their social medias on their smartphones and how it affects them. To investigate these experiences, an experiment was carried out where ten Swedish people had to be without their social media in the mobile phone for three consecutive days and keep a diary of their thoughts and experiences. They also had to fill out a survey to collect background information, as well as participate in a focus group interview where their thoughts and experiences from the experiment were discussed. The study's results showed that the lack of social media in the mobile phone had positive health effects, especially in the form of reduced stress, better self-esteem and better concentration. However, a negative effect emerged in the form of FoMO, a fear of missing out. However, this effect probably originated in the use of social media via the mobile phone. With this in mind, we believe that changing the use of social media in the mobile phone can benefit people's health.

Teknikperceptionens betydelse vid IOT-implementationer : En studie av sensorbaserad verksamhetsutveckling inom offentlig sektorLindberg, Edwin, Rylander, Samuel January 2019 (has links)
The use of Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming increasingly common in our society, and for organizations, the technology provides an opportunity for business development in the form of streamlining processes or better interaction with the customer. We investigate two different municipal digitization projects in order to illustrate how the operational staff's perception of new technological tools affects the implementation of IoT in the workplace. Using the theoretical framework Technological frames, we examine relevant actors’ perceptions regarding the potential of technology and its usage within the organization. We found that the amount of communication between the parties and the technology's perceived complexity are two key factors behind a successful implementation. A challenge for organizations that implement new technology is to change the surrounding working methods so as not to miss out on the full potential of technology.

The swedish healthcare is highly ranked in international comparisons. Though there are a few aspects that could be challenging for this statement. An increasingly amount of elderly people and large distances between cities make the demand of the healthcare larger over time. Therefore the public healthcare needs to be as effective as it could be. One solution for this, is to digitalize the processes connected to the operations in a high degree. This is why the focus of the study has been towards the process of public procurement of the electronic medical records for the pre-hospital operations. The purpose of this study is to create a method for the hospitals to value an existing information system with the needs for the organization. A collection of data for the needs has therefore been collected to have ground for analyzing it in a model within Needs Assessment. This created a way for the study to conclude that the model could be used to match the organizational needs, towards the technical specifications of a system.
