The objective of the objective of the research was to analyze the creation of the unity of Senac Presidente Prudente Network process, characterizing the socioeconomic situation that led to the Presidente Prudente have a unit of Senac Network. As for the methodology, it is in a historical descriptive study of a qualitative nature. The material collection had as main sources of the Institute Memory Senac São Paulo, Presidente Prudente Museum local newspapers. The results have highlighted the historical process of the Unit Senac Presidente Prudente from the socioeconomic climate that preceded its implementation, its operation and its implications. / A presente dissertação tem como tema o histórico da instalação da unidade da Rede Senac São Paulo, no município de Presidente Prudente. O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar o processo de criação da unidade da Rede Senac de Presidente Prudente, caracterizando a situação socioeconômica que possibilitou a Presidente Prudente ter uma unidade da Rede Senac. Quanto à metodologia, constitui-se em um estudo histórico-descritivo, de natureza qualitativa. A recolha de material teve como fontes principais os Acervos da Memória Institucional do Senac São Paulo, do Museu de Presidente Prudente e dos jornais locais. Os resultados permitiram evidenciar o processo histórico da unidade Senac Presidente Prudente, desde o clima socioeconômico que antecedeu sua implantação, ao seu funcionamento e suas implicações.
