This thesis discusses the relation between the Islamic tradition and sexuality, while focusing on sources of the Sunni Islam. It quotes from the Qur'an, hadiths, classical works of the Islamic jurisprudence and various fatwas. It deals with sexual aspects of the marital relationship, including the polygyny, with partners' rights and duties in the intime life and also with limitations given for choosing a partner. It also deals with allowed sexual relationship with slave-girl and forbidden sexual relationships like adultery or homosexual activities. It discusses the ritual purity related to sexual activities and menstruation and it also discusses male and female circumcision. It specifies a male nakedness and female nakedness and analyzes the right for pleasure and orgasm and discusses some sexual practices like coitus interruptus, masturbation or oral and anal sex. In case sof forbidden relationships, activities and practices it describes punishments.

The diploma thesis "Bram Stoker and Sheridan LeFanu: An Analysis of their Irish Horror Fiction" deals with the analysis of the varied aspects linked with the themes of horror stories of two Irish writers. Both writers, Joseph Sheridan LeFanu and Bram Stoker, were Protestants from Dublin whose works are renowned worldwide. An emphasis is made on the study of Gothic settings and the aim of the thesis is to specifically find and to analyze characteristic elements of Gothic fiction of these authors. This thesis is concerned with Bram Stoker´s Dracula (1897) and also with the story "Dracula´s Guest". It will analyse short stories such as the novella Carmilla and also "The Familiar" by Joseph Sheridan LeFanu.

In the first part the thesis deals with the definition and characteristics of the time period of the turn of the 19th and 20th century and intends to show the change in the perception of world and man and their psyche in the context of the new sexuality concept. The second part focuses on homoeroticism in the sexology of that time and its position in contemporary literary science, particularly in the work of Thomas Mann. In the last part the analysis of the three literary texts - "Death in Venice" by Thomas Mann, " The Confusions of Young Torless" by Robert Musil and Arthur Schnitzler's "Fräulein Else"- appears in order to explain the function of abnormal sexuality, specifically homoeroticism and autoeroticism, in German prose of the 19th and 20th century.

This postgraduate thesis called "Gender, Identity and Sexuality in Japanese Anime", will be dealing with the depiction and grasping of the meaning of gender, sexuality and identity and the overcoming of their traditional borderlines in Japanese anime. The meaning of the word "gender" in this thesis, is primarily referring to it's original meaning, typically used with reference to social and cultural arrangements of gender roles rather than biological differences between sexes, which is how the word "gender" is often misused. This thesis will primarily be an in-depth research of the diverse interpretation of gender, sexuality and identity in Japanese animated film from an anthropological point of view, incorporating history, tradition and social development in Japan, ranging from its very first mythological beginnings up to present day. Japanese animated film is characterized by its broad range of genres and it's diversity, which is derived not only from the richness of its own unique culture and way of thinking, but also by adopting western concepts, which are then moulded together and joined in a new original form. This manner of adopting certain aspects from other cultures and their uniting with Japanese tradition and culture created a rich fertile ground for growth of new concepts of gender, sexuality and identity. It is also thanks to this aspect, that Japanese anime has obtained a huge enthusiastic and devoted fan base all around the world. The aim of this thesis is to illuminate the background of the emergence of different concepts of gender, sexuality and identity in Japanese anime and to point out these aspects in individual film and series productions, which best depict these different concepts.

The topic of my thesis is the issue of sexual activity among the pupils in senior grades at elementary schools. The main objective is to focus on the sexual behavior of children at elementary schools. Another goal is to find out about awareness of children in this isme as much. This thesis consists of two parts. The first theoretical part is mainly focused on the area of sexuality. There is also a chapter devoted to a sex education. It stresses the cooperation between school and family and there is individually discussed sex education and family education. In conclusion of the theoretical part the period of puberty, especially children's development during this period because of two aspects - physical and psychological. Second and also the main practical part is focused on analyzing data collected at two elementary schools. Data were collected in all classes in senior grades at two elementary schools. The questionnaire which I submitted contains several parts on various topics. The questions are focused mainly on sexual behavior of children, the awareness of children in this area, the family sex education and ultimately the school sex education.

The thesis tries to explore characteristic methods of expression and topical schemes that connect contemporary works of art, and at the same time puts them into the context of art history, sociocultural theories of sex and gender, and current media production. Our concern in this work was a shared field of study between gender and sexuality in the search of underlying variables of sexual behavior. Basically our scope was to gather data to empirically support one of the theoretical approaches of sex differences in sexual behavior - essentialism, explaining behavior on the basis of biological sex or evolution; or social constructionism applying variables like gender or masculinity and feminity. For this purpose, 602 participants (166 men, 436 women), aged 18-45 yr., filled out the Bem Sex Role Inventory, and the Inventory of Sexual Behavior. Results in general support the social constructionism approaches, as in the most types of sexual behavior we found differences between gender groups, but not between the sexes. However, explanations provided by theories of essentialism should not be discarded, as there were also differences between sexes in few specific areas of human sexuality, namely masturbation, and overall sexual activity. Introduction of the problematic: A burnout syndrome is largely presents among paramedics and has a negative impact on both work performance and life quality. The aim of this thesis was to analyse the incidence of burnout syndrome among male paramedics working in emergency care and to find out the effect the syndrome on their sexuality. The research was conducted by an internet survey. Methodology: Research was conceived as quantitative. Research was conducted paramedics working in emergency care by an internet survey that was in progress from 1.2.2019 to 30.4.2019 within facebook group ,,Ošetřovna od ošetřovatelství.info. The research group was consisted of 124 male paramedics working in emergency care. The measure of burnout syndrome was investigated using the Czech version of Shiron-Melamed burnout measure scale (SMBM questionnaire), the sexual life of respondents was examined using the questionnaire Sexual functions of man) in the extended Kroměříž's version (SFM/K). Results: Three of the five hypotheses were confirmed completely, two hypotheses were confirmed partially. The objective of my thesis, titled "System of care of teenage mothers in the territory of the capital city of Prague", was to clarify the system of assistance available to this target group in the defined location. On the basis of theoretical findings related to adolescence, pregnancy and adolescent pregnancy, I outlined this phenomenon, presented the facilities and services for underage mothers and then I focused on the investigation of the system of assistance available to teenage mothers in Prague. The results of the research prove that adolescent pregnancy is not a unique phenomenon in Prague, because some facilities recorded even more than ten contacts with the target group of underage mothers in a year. The list of found facilities and services offering assistance to underage mothers was included in the created map called "Facilities and services providing assistance to teenage mothers in Prague". The map is freely accessible through Google web browser in Google Maps application.
