Dissertation is focused on theatre in a specific group of people with mental disabilitiy. I try to outline the issues of people with disabilities in the context of theatre with an overlap to the visual arts and theatre antrhopology and caoture the vasic principles of this work, I come out from pumped knowledge, insights and experiences gained during twelve years of intensive work and research in this specific group

This thesis deals with regional disparities of youth unemployment in the Visegrad Group countries. The aim of this work is to seize the development of youth unemployment in the Visegrad Four regions and to find out which determinants, whether economic, demographic or social, influence the differences in youth unemployment among individual regions. The work is based on data available on the website of the European Statistical Office. The analytical part examines the relationship between the youth unemployment rate (at the level of NUTS 2 regions) and the level of education, GDP per capita and the rate of general unemployment. The thesis uses the method of correlation analysis of dependence between individual determinants and the method of trend analysis of unemployment development

Hanková, L. Telecommunication sector in the Visegrad group countries. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel university, 2018. This diploma thesis analyses telecommunication sector of the Visegrad group countries. The aim of this thesis is to describe specifics and risks of this particular sector and uses classic and alternative financial ratios to compare performance and financial stability of the companies. In the theoretical part, each state´s tele-com sector is described as well as the methods and procedures used in this thesis. In the practical part, all of the financial ratios are calculated and classification trees for years 2012 - 2015 are built. Results are commented on statistical and economical level.

The thesis deals with comparison of the banking markets of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Lithuania in size and rentability of their banks with distribution on banks with domestic owners and the banks in foreign banking group. There is also the comparative analysis in selected indicators of these two units. To the comparison is used the financial analysis. First part of thesis is dealed to the methodics of selection countries, banks, reports, indicators etc. In second part is analysed banking market of each country and the types of banks are compared together on the basis of several indicators. Third part deals with total comparison of two banking units over all countries.

Ciprisová, L. Effect of retraining courses on the employability of job seekers. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2015. This thesis examines whether the passing retraining course has a positive, negative, or neutral effect on the likelihood of finding a new job. I have obtained individual-level data on job seekers registered at the Job Centre in Brno. My approach is based primarily on comparisons of groups of job seekers. The first group (basic group) consists of graduates of the retraining course; the second group (control group) is represented by job seekers who did not pass the course. The data used in this thesis carry information about 486 graduates of the re-training courses and about 245 persons who have not passed the retraining course. After the exclusion of some persons whose profile was not suitable for research, the basic group included 482 people; in two control groups are includ-ed 28 and 47 job seekers. The control group "Z" consists of individuals who would like to pass a retraining course, but their request was rejected by an expert commission. The second control group consists of individuals who refused to attend a retraining course recommended by the Job Centre. Job seekers of these two groups represent extremes of a motivation to find a new job. A comparison of an employment rate and the average length of registration at the Job Centre suggest that a retraining course attendance has a positive effect on the likelihood of finding a new job. These results, however, are significantly influenced by selection of the control group.

This work deals with the use of methoxymethyl protecting group in chemistry of cyclodextrins, where this group has not been used very often so far. The work deals with development of optimal methods for introduction and for subsequent removal of the group and shows its usefulness in the preparation of new 6I -O-monosubstituted cyclodextrin derivatives, which are hard to get by standard methods.
