Vliv přesahu na životnost valivého ložiska / Influence of interference fit on Rolling Bearing life

Tetour, Stanislav January 2018 (has links)
Master thesis is focused on the influence of interference fit on rolling bearing life. The first part of thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge, that is necessary for the solution. The influence of interference fit was investigated of inner ring on shaft and outer ring in housing bore for recommended tolerance classes. Interference fit was solved on cylindrical roller bearing and tapered roller bearing. Analytical and numerical approach was used for the solution. A static analysis of bearing was made using program ANSYS Workbench in numerical section. The output of analysis was maximum shear stress under the contact surface, which result is contact fatigue of bearing. Bearing life was determined by life factor, which indicates bearing life with interference fit compared to bearing without interference fit.

Řešení vývoje nestabilit kapalného filmu s následným odtržením kapek / Modeling of Liquid Film Instabilities with Subsequent Entrainment of Droplets

Knotek, Stanislav January 2013 (has links)
This dissertation deals with instabilities of thin liquid films up to entrainment of drops. Four types of instabilities have been classified depending on the type of structure and process on the liquid film surface: two-dimensional slow waves, two-dimensional fast waves, three-dimensional waves, solitary waves and entrainment of drops from the film surface. This thesis analyzes the physical principles of instabilities and deals with the mathematical formulation of the problem. Shear and pressure forces acting on the surface of the liquid film are identified as the cause of instabilities. Mathematical models for predicting instabilities are demonstrated using approaches based on solving the Orr-Sommerfeld equation and the equations of motion in integral form. Models of shear and pressure forces acting on the surface of the film and selected models of film thickness are presented. The work is focused on the prediction of the initiation of two-dimensional waves using the integral approach. Shear stress and pressure forces acting on the liquid film surface have been modeled using the simulation of air flow over a solid surface. Finally, criteria for drop entrainment are presented with their dependence on air velocity and film thickness.

Numerické modelování předpjatých dutinových panelů typu Spiroll na pružném podepření a vyhodnocení průběhu napětí / Numerical modeling of the prestress hollow core slabs Spiroll type on the flexural support and the evaluation of the stresses

Kršík, Jakub January 2019 (has links)
The doctoral thesis describes the possibilities of numerical modelling of hollow core concrete panels, SPIROLL type. The commercial finite element program ANSYS 13.0 is used for the modelling. The focus is on the specific flexural support of the panel and on the distribution of the shear stresses in the panel ribs near the support. The goal is to valid actually used method for homogenization of the panel’s foreheads and its influence on the shear resistance by using four numerical models. The numerical models are compared and verified with two experiments. The first experiment is vacuum loading on the hollow core slab. Second experiment is about shear loading by applying the loading blocks. Four methods for design of hollow core panels are evaluated. It is the method based on main stresses, design according EN 1992 and EN 1168 and Yang’s method of prestress effects transfer. Based on the results, a method of considering flexural support for the evaluation of hollow core panels is proposed.

Studium reologických vlastností betonů s přídavkem polymerních vláken upravených nízkoteplotním plasmatem / Study of rheological properties of concrete with the addition of low-temperature plasma treated polymer fibers

Gromeš, Vít January 2013 (has links)
Polypropylene fibers are used in concrete mixtures to avoid early cracks during shrinkage. Low thickness of each fiber and low density are reasons, why these fibers are effective in small dosage. Their disadvantages are smooth surface and hydrophobic character of polypropylene, thus it is necessary to improve their surface for better spread during mixing and to reach needed adhesion between fibers and cement paste. In present time are using chemical solutions applied on surface of the fibers to provide better water absorption, but the trend is reducing of using chemicals in industry and this situation demands new technology. There is possible solution, polypropylene fibers treated by low-temperature plasma. This method was developer by cooperation Masaryk University in Brno with company KrampeHarex and Brno Universiry of Technology. The goal of this thesis is to bring comparison, of influence on rheology properties of fresh concrete, between admixed the fibers with applied chemical layer and low-temperature plasma treated polypropylene fibers.

Statistická analýza kontrolních zkoušek horninových kotev / Statistical analysis of the acceptance tests of ground anchors

Štefaňák, Jan Unknown Date (has links)
The objective of dissertation is to find the approaches for processing the data extracted from the reports that document the performing of acceptance tests of ground anchors. The purpose of this activity is to allow further utilization of this data for designing practice. 795 test records were collected. It is essential for the correctness of analysis, that the whole anchor bond must be placed in homogeneous material. The records for anchors that don’t fulfilled this condition were removed. The set of 379 records of anchors installed in six different soil types during construction work in Czech Republic remained. All those anchors were tested according the demands of european standard ČSN EN 1537:2001, valid until 2013. The methodics based on the mathematical statistics, regression analysis and probability methods were compiled during solving the task defined above. The major result of data processing that was performed via methodics based on combination of mathematical statistics and probability simulation methods is the set of bond shear stress parameter values elaborated for variety of soil types. The regression model for determination of the force-displacement curve and the model predicting the creep behavior of loaded ground anchor were constructed, where the creep value is dependent on the tendon bond length, tendon free length and on the level of prestressing force. The description of full-scale experiment, whose results were used for verification of assumptions incorporated in relevant methodics, is included. The example of determining the probability of failure of anchored structure using the stochastic simulation technique is mentioned also, where the previously obtained results are used as input values for this calculation. Moreover, the software application serving for automatization of processes associated to conducting of the tests of ground anchors and to creating the test report is introduced.

Zanášení vývarů dnovými splaveninami / Silting of stilling basins by bedload sediments

Galeta, Martin January 2018 (has links)
The main goal of this study is to define the technique to be used to assess the aggradation (by bed load) and degradation (of sediments) of the recessed as well as non-recessed stilling basins of rectangular cross section; when the hydraulic jump occurs in the stilling basin where the submergence coefficient equals 1,05. It consists of two parts, theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part summarizes the related theory on a hydraulic jump, design of a stilling basin, an incipient motion of sediment, an assessment of silting and scouring of the stilling basin. The second part, the actual experiment, led to the determination of the critical values essential for the assessment. For the evaluation, the nondimensional shear stress and the densimetric Froude number were used.

Pole napětí a deformace v okolí trhlin s komplikovanou geometrií čela zatížených ve smykových zátěžných módech / Deformation and stress fields at the front of shear cracks with complicated geometry

Žák, Stanislav January 2018 (has links)
První část práce je věnována shrnutí současných přístupů v lomové mechanice a dále i popisu numerických metod, použitých v dalších výpočtech.
