My diploma work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part I engage with particular defect of studying, their types and demonstration. I also deal with their diagnostic and amendment. In the connection to particular defects of studying I also describe the trouble of defect of behaviour, mostly ADHD, including the defect of studying of adults. I also focus on education of individual with the particular defect of studying at university. I describe the system of studying at university with the possibility of advantage for students with particular defect of stuyding. The end of my theoretical part I aim on University of South Bohemia itself, its history and operating of each faculty. In my practical part I deal with analyze of students´branch/programmes of daily studying in two faculties of University of South Bohemia - Faculty of Economy and the Faculty of Fishing. Each subjects which are taught in particular studying branch I analyze and I show the requirements which are needed to pass that subject. After this I try to deduce the charge on students which has been defined on the base of analyze of each students branch in different faculties. It will be confronted with the theoretical piece of knowledge, which relates to needs and rarity of the students with the particular defect of studying while being a student at university.

This diploma thesis named: The research of reading skills level of students of 2nd and 3rd degree of primary schools, deals with making reading skills in the initial education. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part focuses to reading skills accordingly to RVP ZV, also to a student of younger pre-school age and current methods of reading which are used to teach reading in the 1st year of elementary school. The work also deals with basic types and qualities of reading, development of reading literacy, reading diagnostics and reading errors. The practical part is focused on evaluation, diagnostics and detection of reading skills. The main target is to find out the actual state of Czech students´ reading skills in 2nd and 3rd degrees and provide possible remedy of reading skills. The thesis is supported with charts and graphic material.

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of prediction of specific learning disabilities among children of preschool age. The thesis is divided into two consequent parts a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part I focus mainly on the etiology and the diagnosis of specific learning disabilities. The thesis focuses mainly on given examples of a few predictive batteries from Czech and even foreign authors. The practical part contains results of a research survey where are the data I collected through predictive battery of British authors: Nicolson and Fawcett: The Dyslexia Early Screening Test. The main objective of the diploma thesis was to find out the possibility of using this test by pedagogical workers at pre-schools in order to avoid specific learning disabilities. For the research, the quantitative research method was used.

The diploma thesis is focused on the problems and relationship of specific language impairment and learning disabilities, as developmental disorders affecting not only speech and language, but also other areas influencing the educational process and school success of pupils. The introductory chapters are devoted to the theoretical definition of individual disorders with a focus on their terminology, etiology, symptomatology, diagnostics and therapy. Attention is also focused on the reciprocal context of specific language impairment and difficulties in reading, writing and orthography. The thesis is a comparative case study whose aim is to describe and compare the symptoms of the abovementioned disorders in a selected group of pupils of younger school age as reflected in basic school skills - reading and writing. The purpose of the thesis is to point out their interdependence and similarity in the field of education, but also certain specifics of each of the disorders depending on the individual peculiarities of each pupil.

Teorie deficitů kognitivních funkcí v kontextu specifických poruch učení / Theory of cognitive deficits in the context of specific learning disabilities

The aim of this thesis is to describe the cognitive profile, including the developed and deficient cognitive functions, in a group of children and adolescents with specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces Reuven Feuerstein's work, especially his concepts of structural cognitive modifiability and mediated learning experience, the theory of cognitive deficits, cognitive map and Feuerstein's instrumental enrichment programme. The characteristics of traditional and dynamic assessment, basic differences between these diagnostic approaches and cognitive symptoms of specific learning disabilities are also described in the thesis. The results of the examination of twenty-eight DYS-centrum's clients with specific learning disabilities are qualitatively analyzed in the empirical part. We focus on their developed and deficient cognitive functions, their fulfilment of complex tasks, a preferred modality in which the tasks are presented, and differences between the results obtained through static and dynamic testing. The results collected from individual subjects are finally compared and visualized using figures and graphs which gives an overview of the studied phenomena throughout the whole research sample. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of teaching French to children affected by learning disorders. It aims to describe various principles and their application into practice at beginners classes. The theoretical part investigates learning disorders as a whole with their causes, manifestations, diagnose and reeducational techniques and activities that are applied in practice. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to foreign language teaching in the context of learning disorders, fundamental principles and methods of partial linguistic spheres. Further on, the practical part presents a case study of two children with learning disorders during a French class. Individual activities are introduced that are appropriate for their teaching. Finally, two applications suitable for both class at school and home preparation are designed, with their main contribution being the immediate feedback that allows children to work alone. Regarding the rather practical character of the diploma thesis, a great number of examples illustrating various learning disorders are introduced in order for the reader to understand the difficulties that affected children encounter. The aim of the thesis "Role of preparatory classes in prevention of specific learning disabilities" is to compare intervention of kindergarten and elementary school preparratory classes during suspension of school attendance. It describes all the kinds of specific learning disabilities. It works out in detail diagnostics of specific learning disabilities risk factors from the special education perspective. It offers integral methodology for time undemanding orientational testing of specific learning disabilities risk factors for preschool children. This methodology was used for testing children with suspended school attendance at the start of a school year and in A March of the same school year.
