The thesis aims to determine the influence partial or complete submerge of hollow cone valve by outflow on its capacity without space restrictions, by outflow into discharge chamber and by outflow into water tunnel of circular cross section. The valve capacity is for mutual comparability purposes usually characterized by discharge coefficient. Research works have been performed on a spatial hydraulic model of the valve with inlet diameter D = 67 mm and an apex angle of a cone 90°. Values of the discharge coefficient obtained from measurements were statistically analyzed. The dependence of discharge coefficient, expressed by energy head, on submerged level was approximated by an exponential function. Exponent value of this function express the dependance rate of valve capacity on downstream water level. This procedure didn’t demonstrate signifiant dependance downstream water level on hollow cone valve capacity, only on tests at outflow to water tunel showed a low increase in the discharge coefficient partly due to the influence of kinetic energy of the stream flowing out of the tunnel on the energy head and also due to underpressure. Independence of discharge coefficient value on valve head has been prooved for head greather than 232 mm. Also was defined 3 stages of interaction outflow jet from valve and downstream water, some of them may cause on real waterworks structures unfavorable situations (may affect excessive load on valve by pressure pulsations). The presented results allow better evaluation of bottom outlets capacity at higher water levels, when the valves are flooded. Significant effect of sufficient aeration (especially in long water tunnels) on valve capacity was also confirmed. Taking into account on the specifics of hollow jet valves and cone valves, it is possible to generalize some of this resultos on them as well.

This thesis deal with the construction proposal of the moving bolster hydraulic try-out press with roll-up cover the bottom cross beam. Hydraulic try-out press is used for testing dies. Moving bolster is used for remove of testing die from the working area of the press. Roll-up cover is designed to protect the bottom cross beam against damage and dirt snapping. Part of this thesis is design a railway track, design of driving mechanism, strength calculation of all functional components, design of welded frame and mechanism of the roll-up cover including safety cover. Designed device is detail proposed in the 3D software. The thesis contains drawing documentation assembly drawings movig bolster, mechanism of roll-up cover and welded frame consisting of welded and machined parts.

Master's thesis aims to design a small water reservoir. It is the dry water reservoir which is situated above a built-up area. The main function of this reservoir is a flood protection. Digital terrain model is created in a program BENTLEY MicroStation V8i – Power Civil. Focusing points in a data file are used in a process of creating of the DTM. Adjustments are done in AutoCAD. Particular hydro-technical calculations are calculated in a program Microsoft Excel. A program HEC-HMS is used for an assessment of a flood wave transformation and a program HEC-RAS is used for a water runoff simulation via emergency spillway.

Terrestrial plants and insects account for the majority of the Earth's biodiversity today, and almost half of all insect species are herbivores. Thus, insects and plants share ancient associations date back for more than 400 million years. However, investigation of their interactions stands largely at the beginning in Western Europe. This thesis deals with the inspection and construction-technical survey of the highway bridges D2-058..1 and D2-058..2. These structures ale located on the border with the Slovak Republic and were built in 1980. The thesis is focused on the substructure of this long overpass, because of its major failures caused by leaking water. Theoretical part contains information about construction-technical surveys of the bridges, bridges inspections and theory of ultrasound methods. That method has been used in the practical part for identification of the damage extent. Also, material property have been verified and overall condition of the substructure has been evaluated.

The issue of the thesis is a construction of the Radejčín highway tunnel. Project contains all of the stages of construction. The total budget and time schedule were made for complete structure. The technological instruction was made for secondary lining of the tunnel. There is also a plan of security instruction, the list of risks on construction site, suggestion of fixed job contract, the plan of controlls and exams for making invert and upper vault of secondary lining. Another part is the project of construction site with three different drawing of construction sites and text part. The list of machines and devices is for the complete construction. It was added also a chosen construction details and evaluation of geotechnical monitoring.

The oldest parts of continents, so-called cratons, are the focus of worldwide research not only because they represent primary constraints for our understanding of the early evolution of the Earth, but also because of their significant mineral potential. This work contributes to the understanding of the geological and geomorphological evolution of the West African Craton, by an integrated analysis of airborne geophysical and satellite remote sensing data constrained by field structural, lithological, geophysical, and geomorphological observations acquired around Houndé, Boromo and Banfora greenstone belts and associated granitoid domains in western Burkina Faso. The results of this integration suggest that the granitoid domains of western Burkina Faso are formed by numerous small- to medium-sized plutons, and the magnetic data provided a better definition of the actual pluton shapes. Airborne gamma ray spectrometry data aided in the mapping process in areas with less regolith cover. Three deformation events (D1-D3) can be distinguished in western Burkina Faso. The aim of this Diploma Thesis is constructionally - technological solution of the rough construction of polyfunctional house on the corner of Bánskobystrická and Medlánecká streets in Brno Řečkovice. In the Diploma Thesis I will deal with the plan of the work procedure of the execution of roof construction layers, machine sets, itemized budget, construction schedule, construction site equipment, inspection and testing plan, ecology and transport relations related to the construction. I would like to point out the complication of the construction with a lack of space because the construction is in the area of Brno Řečkovice. The plan of construction execution was more difficult due to lack of space for storage of materials and machinery handling.

The content of the diploma thesis is a building-technological project of the new building of residential buildings Rozhledna in Chrudim. The thesis contains technological regulations for a rough bottom structure and a rough top structure. Technological regulations are complemented by design of machine assembly, site facilities and control and test plans. Work safety, construction risk assessment, time schedule of main objects, object time and financial plan and budget of main buildings are also solved. An important part is the comparison of the parallel, gradual, current construction and the design of the thermal insulation system of the curtain wall.
