<p>Denna rapport handlar om framtagandet av en webbaserad rapporteringsplattform för Sandvik IT. Uppsatsen bryter ner och illustrerar de delar i processen som krävs för konverteringen från en dokumentbaserad till en webbaserad rapporteringsmetod genom att utgå från Sandvik IT’s rapporteringsscenario. Den dokumentbaserade rapporteringsmetoden utgörs av Excel och den webbaserade av Reporting Services. Många implementeringstekniska delar som kan vara av intresse för utvecklare tas upp. Uppsatsen täcker in kostnadsfrågor för hela livcykeln av webbplattformen och en jämförelse görs av de båda rapporteringsscenariorna En stor tyngd läggs även på att visa de problem som kan uppstå på vägen från rapporteringsscenariot med Excel till Reporting Services. Metoden för arbetet är platsundersökning, litteraturstudie samt en systemutvecklingsmetod som kallas för Agile. I slutet av uppsatsen finns det bilagor som visar hur de slutgiltiga rapporterna kan se ut.</p>

In this diploma thesis, I focus on the application integration. Main goal of this thesis is comparison of integration platforms of the biggest vendors on the market, there are products of companies Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and SAP. I compare these products according criteria, which I had chosen. I use mainly own experiences with the products to achieve a goal. These products I compare with respect to general, technological and possibility of using point of view. My work can be as a source for decision, which of the integration platforms is optimal to use. Then I describe one of them - Microsoft Biztalk Server with simple example. The next goal of this work is to summarize the theory of application integration, where I describe the possibilities of integration's application from the simplest till the most complicated. The next goal of this work is making a methodology in Biztalk Server, which will contain concrete solutions and techniques in different situations. This methodology can help developers and analysts to make better proposals, more convenient solutions and beware of needless problems.

abstract: This two-study investigation examined the social behavior competencies of a sample of students ages 8 to 18 who identified themselves as either bullies or non-bullies based on ratings of items on a comprehensive behavior rating scale. Specifically, the purpose of Study 1 was to establish criteria using the Social Skills Improvement System – Student Rating Scale (SSIS-S) to identify students from a nationally representative standardization sample who displayed high frequencies of bullying behaviors. The social behavior ratings for these self-identified bullies were then compared with all other students in the national sample and analyzed to determine differences among various domains of social skills and problem behaviors. In Study 2, the same students’ social behaviors were rated by adult informants to determine if there was added value in including parents and teachers in the assessment of the self-identified bullies. Finally, the extent of concurrent agreement was examined for all students among the teachers, parents, and students’ ratings of social skills and problem behavior domains. Study 1 revealed that self-identified bullies are not a homogeneous group. The main findings from Study 2 showed parents and teachers may add to the overall predictive validity of the student self-report assessment, but not the accuracy of classifying the students as bullies. Study 2 showed differences and similarities exist across the ratings provided by each rater. The relative value of including adult reports in the self-assessment likely lies in the reported differences from each rater, as they provide a more complete social behavior profile for each student. These findings are discussed in terms of existing research and theories regarding children and youths’ bullying behavior. Företaget Nethouse har haft uppdraget att kravställa, utveckla och implementera ett verksamhetssystem åt Sveriges  Skorstensfejaremästares Riksförbund (SSR). Medlemsföretagen i SSR bedriver sotarverksamhet på uppdrag av Sveriges kommuner och är beroende av insamlad data kopplad till deras verksamhet. I det nyutvecklade systemet, som går under namnet Ritz, samlas informationen i en central databas och är tillgänglig för flertalet intressenter med hjälp av ny teknik och modernare lösningar. Systemet är helt webbaserat och körs som en molntjänst, tillgängligt via antingen en webbsida eller som mobilapplikation. Åtkomsten av data baseras på företagsnivå på ”stämplad” data i databasen och för att reglera åtkomsten för företagsanvändare till respektive företags data används rollbaserad åtkomstkontroll. Detta examensarbete har syftat till att utveckla en prototyp till en beslutsstödslösning för dynamisk åtkomst till de datamängder som lagras inom Ritz. Nethouse har efterfrågat en prototyp för en BI-lösning som visar på möjligheter och fördelar för intressenter till Ritz med att implementera en sådan. Då integration och förvaltning är viktiga faktorer för Nethouse har ett krav på prototypen varit att den utvecklats inom Microsofts programvaror, precis som resten av Ritz. Prototypen färdigställdes genom konstruerandet av ett centralt data warehouse enligt Ralph Kimballs metodologier och genom implementation av en OLAP-kub byggd i Microsoft SSAS. Dataöverföringen från datakällorna till beslutsstödslösningens data warehouse skedde genom utvecklandet av en ETL-process i Microsoft SSIS. Den resulterande kuben har främst utformats för att kunna besvara den sortens frågor som länsstyrelser ställer till sotarföretag i kontrollsyfte och stöder förfrågningar mot de två centrala affärsprocesserna sotning och brandskyddskontroll. Dessa förfrågningar kan filtreras på flertalet dimensioner som exempelvis tid, utförare, status och kontrollutfall. Prototypen begränsar även åtkomst till den information som användare har rätt att ta del av genom att koppla samman användare och objekt till geografiska indelningar som kallas distrikt. Denna dynamiska säkerhetslösning ger goda förutsättningar för att kunna hantera förändringar i användarnas behörighet i framtiden. Genom den utvalda lösningen behålls den dynamiska naturen i systemet, då åtkomst till beslutsstödstjänsten kan fås genom flertalet källor som stödjer uppkoppling mot Microsofts multidimensionella beslutsstödslösningar, bland annat Excel och SQL Server Reporting Services.

This master’s thesis focuses on monitoring and profiling multidimensional database and reports. The project was created in MS SSIS to this purpose and it contains 4 ETL packages. The thesis is divided into three main sections. First section consists of theoretical background needed to accomplish the goal. In second section there is analysis of the company for which is the solution created and in the third part of the thesis there is described the proposal and it’s solution. Proposal of the solution and the solution itself was created in MS Visual Studio 2015, MS SQL Management Studio and Power BI.

Master's thesis focuses on BI projects maintenance optimization of company Intelligent Technologies s.r.o., which is one of the leading suppliers of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions in Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into three main sections – theoretical, analytical and practical. The main goal of these sections is an explanation of important concepts that are necessary to understand the solution, which is being created, analysis of the current state of selected company and detailed description of creating main solution. In this thesis following Microsoft programs were used - Visual Studio 2015, SSIS, SQL Server Management Studio 2017 and Power BI.

This thesis focuses on data warehousing on technological platform TERADATA and Informatica Power Center (further only IFPC). TERADATA provides a robust database system for storage of big volume data and query processing over such data. Product Informatica Powercenter is a tool for developing of ETL processes. Both of tools belong to mature technology for large data warehouse development which stores large volumes of data over the enterprise. The thesis analyses both tools to build data warehouse and the specifics of their use in the insurance sector. The thesis is divided into two main thematic sections - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes database system TERADATA and ETL tool IFPC in details, including analysis of business intelligence architecture in the insurance segment, which often uses this platform for data warehouse development. The thesis describes the architecture of database system TERADATA and the way to data storage and query processing. Then specific features, on which is necessary to focus by TERADATA data warehouse development, are characterized. Also its advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Database system TERADATA is faced with other competing database systems. The thesis deals with general characteristics of ETL tool IFPC -- software architecture a its components. It examines the advantages and disadvantages of IFPC compared to competitors on the market. Conclusion of the theoretical part analyzes the synergies between Teradata and IFPC. The thesis explains the real benefits of combination TERADATA and IFPC. The practical part of thesis demostrates the use of tools for data warehousing development on real project Unification of client data. This project describes the entire development process in a data warehouse from business requirements through functional and technical design to implementation of ETL mapping in Informatica Power Center. It deals with bug fixing during ETL development and testing methods. The pratical part focuses on implementation of chosen mapping in IFPC which is deployed in the insurance sector. Part of this thesis is a comparison of ETL tools IFPC with SSIS ETL tool integrated in MS SQL Server 2008 R2.

This paper deals with data warehouses and OLAP. These technologies are defined and described here. Then an introduction of the architecture of product MS SQL Server and its tools for work with data warehouses and OLAP folow. The knowledge gained is used for creation of sample application.
