The thesis focuses on the socio-educational work methods of the probation and mediation services and of its workers in relation to their clients with imposed probation supervision and on the opportunities for development and support of their healthy social functioning. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part initially are defined the basic concepts and terms, then it is described the target group of conditionally released from prison clients, which currently are under supervision of a probation officer. The thesis sees the imprisonment as a difficult life situation and it deals with the influence of penitentiary environment on the personality of the convict in relation to his further development. In the second part are described the specific activities of the probation and mediation service workers in relation to clients from the target group. The thesis focuses on the socio-educational work of the probation officers, as well as social workers or other organizations for social prevention and their impact on the social stabilization of individuals, belonging to the target group. This diploma thesis is focused on the properties of unsuitable and conditionally unsuitable fine-grained soils after a one-stage or two-stage treatment by using a binder. The theoretical part occupies with problematical properties of the fine grained soils in a subgrade and a possible technology of the change of these properties. The laboratory testing of treated soils is described and a practical technology of the one stage and two-stage stabilization. In the practical part the fine grained soils are treated by one-stage or two-stage stabilization. For the one stage stabilization the cement is used, for the two-stage stabilization the properties of the soil are improved by lime and then the soil is stabilized by cement. The treated soils are laboratory tested, the initial bearing index IBI, California bearing ratio CBR, unconfined compressive strength and frost susceptibility is tested. Based on the results of the laboratory tests the benefit of the two-stage stabilization is measured.

The Diploma Thesis deals with the banking crisis and aims to account for different approaches to the understanding of the nature of banking crisis. The Thesis further aims to provide answers why the banking crisis are caused and why so far there are no measures that would effectivelly prevent such crisis. At first, the Thesis states the definition of banking with the emphasis on banks as the institutional backbone of the current functioning of the financial system. The Thesis pays specific attention to the characteristics of two basic legal banking instruments, particulary loans and deposits. While acknowledging the loan expansion, the thesis argues the role of regulatory authorities and the limits of their competences in regards to the prevention of crisis. Followingly, the Thesis offers a view on a banking crisis phenomenon with appropriate historical overview outlining the banking crisis in Czechoslovakia in years 1918 to 1939 and after 1989, the loan expension influence on the business cycles and approaches to banking crisis solving in respect to stabilization of the banking system and restructuring of banks. At last but not least, the Thesis sums up the global financial crisis that started as a banking crisis, respectively as a crisis of one segment of the banking market in the United States...

Diplomová práce pojednává o stabilizaci diskrétního logistického modelu pomocí několika řídících metod. Je zde provedena především stabilizace rovnováh, 2-periodických cyklů a 3-periodických cyklů. Ke stabilizaci systému je využito proporčního zpětně-vazebního řízení, zpětně-vazebního řízení s časovým zpožděním a řízení založeného na predikci. U každé metody je diskutovaná stabilizační množina pro řídící zesilovač spolu s oblastmi stability pro odpovídající kontrolovaná řešení. Všechny teoretické výsledky jsou ilustrovány grafickými interpretacemi v softwaru MATLAB. Podpůrné výpočty jsou provedeny pomocí softwaru Maple.

This masters project describes properties and primary parameters of active function blocks (OPA, VCA, OTA, CFA, CC) usable in construction of harmonic oscillators. Basic principles of harmonic generators, especially feedback oscillators, are introduced. In next section are presented five particular schematics of harmonic tuned oscillators. For this oscillators are indicated basic formulas, essential qualities performed by simulations and results of sensitivity and tolerance analysis. In the last part of diploma thesis there are selected three circuits which are made and their features are measured.

The thesis considers a stabilization of temperature of a wood fiber during production of medium close fibre boards MDF in a wood-processing industry. The original purpose to solve energetic optimalization of a kiln dryer has become a serious problem. It turned out that production suffers with a big heat loss which results in big heat loss gained during a kiln drying. Primary aim of this thesis is an examination of a cooling effect of environment on chosen parts of a production line and suggestion of acceptable proceeding to minimize heat loss and to rise temperature of the wood fiber to required temperature. Solution is aimed on the section of a production line between drying equipment and press. First part of the thesis introduces technology of production of fibre boards, introduction to heat transfer problems and also basics of computer modeling of heat flow and transfer using CFD simulation. The next part includes an evaluation of the heat loss of chosen parts of the production line in a current working condition and its comparison with computer simulations. Verification of accuracy of the results while using both approaches to solution is a first step to the improvement of the current situation. It is possible to use the verified calculation model for the following solution of effects on convective and radiation heating of a wood fiber layer. An important factor in the last period of a calculation is a real temperature of the fiber board-mat at the entrance to a press. The higher entering temperature in a set temperature range is reached, the lower time needed for pressing will be and simultaneously the whole industrial process will be cut short. The solution of a problem leads to an achievement of an energy saving and should become a solid basis from which it would be possible to evaluate an improvement of production of MDF boards. The conclusion of the thesis includes an analysis of findings which refers to a heating of wood fiber and it’s effectiveness for a practical use.

Thesis I worked on a project basis provided the building permit for an office complex of two identical fourth storey buildings which from the first storey intersects the inner atrium. The buildings are located within the CTZone Brno in the street Masna. The buildings are designed so that the ground floor is a garage for cars and retail space for rent and above-ground floors are reserved for office space lease. Objects are based on a floating pile conducted by the CFA, which builds prefabricated concrete skeleton. The cladding is formed by a combined system of aluminum windows, masonry face and sheet plotted on a system of stainless steel brackets. Roofing of buildings is done running flat roofs, the roofing of the atrium serves as a walkable roof. The garage is designed bearing slab plate fitted topping for added durability. Internal Partition Walls and walls are made of aerated concrete blocks. Thesis deals with construction technological preparations for the construction and contains a technical report, coordinating the situation buildings with wider relationships routes, time and financial plan, study the implementation of the main stages, the project site equipment, design tools, technological regulation, inspection and test plan, itemized budget, comparing two designs rough superstructure and appropriate drawings.

The subject of this master’s thesis is a solution of chosen parts of building construction project. The project solves industrial hall that contains productions and administrative space. This thesis includes technological regulations for substructure, study of performing the main technological stages, design of using machines, checking and testing plans. Other phrases parts are time schedules, budget, calculations, design of site equipment including engineering report and report for performing access road. Starting materials, which were used for this thesis, were engineering report also including working drawings.
