Title: Additional physical activities of pupils of the 2nd grade of elementary school Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe and classify various possibilities of integrating physical activity into the school regime of pupils aged 11-15, which reduce the sedentary stereotype and help to fulfil the recommended amount of daily physical activity of pupils. Methods: In the theoretical part, a search of literature and electronic sources was carried out. The practical part included a questionnaire to determine the current situation in schools in the Czech Republic. The questionnaire was created in Google Forms, Mailchimp was used to distribute the questionnaire and statistical processing of the results was completed in Microsoft Excel. The selection of respondents was randomly stratified by districts. Results: The theoretical part described a number of teaching forms and methods related to movement, including specific suggestions and inspirations in various subjects. The results of the questionnaire showed a high level of interest in the topic among school officials, but also a rejecting attitude of some respondents. The thesis: "Influence of employment politics on situation of people at the age of 50 + on the labour market: Case study of the Vsetín district" deals with problems of older people's position on the labour market in the Czech Republic focusing on the Vsetín district and influence of employment policy on this position. This thesis characterizes the group of people at the age of 50 and more as labour power and deals with their strategies on the labour market. It also deals with employment policy of the European Union related to the group of people at the age of 50 and more on the labour market and analyses strategic documents of the Czech Republic solving these problems in detail. Furthermore this thesis focuses on the employment policy of the Czech Republic, mainly on analysis of functions, possibilities, limits and influence of chosen tools of the active employment policy on the lowering of the number of the unemployed people who belong to the above mentioned age-group on the labour market. This thesis aims to describe the current state of employment of people over 50 in the Czech Republic, indicate the reasons and context of this situation and suggest possible solutions to the related issues. All these matters are explored within the context of the international development. The methods employed in this research are statistical analysis and the secondary analysis of documents. The research has brought evidence that Czech society has been changing enormously. Firstly, it is the ageing. And consequently, it faces the growing percentage of elderly people in the population, causing not only problems in the functioning of social protection systems, but also raising the necessity of changes in labour. This diploma thesis is concerned with the perception of the teacher's authority by pupils of the 6th and 9th grades of a grammar school. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the perception of the teacher's authority by students of the above mentioned age groups from different perspectives. These aspects include ontogenetic stages of their development, the gender and the milieu. They are one of the topics that will be paid attention to in the theoretical part of the thesis. Another theme of the work includes the concept of authority and the authority of the teacher. The research is based od a quantitative survey, carried out through a questionnaire created for research purposes. The present dissertation, which focuses on the needs of particularly vulnerable older people in home health care, was written within the framework of the PhD study in Longevity at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University and was carried out as part of the project supported by the Charles University Grant Agency "Met and Unmet Needs of Particularly Vulnerable Older Patients in Home and Inpatient Care" (GA UK No. 760219). The overall aim of the three researcher project, where I was the research coordinator, was to clarify the needs of particularly vulnerable older patients in both home health care and inpatient care, including the needs of patients living with dementia. The aim of this dissertation was to identify the needs of vulnerable older patients in home health care. This dissertation consists of four papers. At the time of writing, two articles had been published in peer-reviewed journals and two articles were under review. The diploma thesis deals with specifics of unemployed older adults who participate in projects of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the specifics of unemployed older adults when returning to the labor market with help of projects of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic. These specifics were identified in connection with the physical, mental, and social changes that occur in older adulthood. Other specifics were analyzed based on the position which the target group 50+ holds on the labor market and off of the labor market about impacts of unemployment to unemployed older adults. For the comprehensive summary of the issue, the theoretical part was augmented through essential characteristics of projects mediated by the Labor Office of the Czech Republic. Theoretic findings served for purposes in a qualitative survey. The qualitative survey was focused on two projects of the Labor Office: Jdi dál! 50+ v MSK and 50 PLUS v JmK. This diploma thesis deals with the topic called "Preferences and Popularity of Individual Sports Branches by Children of Older School and Junior Age in Kolín". In the theoretic part I focused on definition of the main terms which occur in the name of the thesis as preferences, popularity, sports branch, children of older school age and children of junior age. Discovered data were processed on the basis of quantitative method via questionnaire survey and the evaluation was carried out via spreadsheet and statistical methods. The performed survey answered the stated survey questions from which emerged that children of older school age are more interested in performance sport. The most often performance sports done are football and dancing by both groups of the respondents. Further, girls would not change performance sport for their favourite one. Junior age children would like to do their favourite sport at performance level. Popularity of physical education does not vary by children doing sport for leisure or performance. Title: Sports training assessment of the Czech record holder in the sprint events in the youth categories Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is monitoring and assessment of selected general training indicators, special training indicators and control tests during the four-year sports training period of a young sprinter in the category of 15 years and the category of 17 years. Results of the selected training indicators and the control tests were compared. Methods: In the present thesis the method of observation and the content analysis of training documents are used. The training documents are obtained from the coach of the observed individual. The general training indicators, the special training indicators and the control tests are selected from the training documents, which are evaluated by the basic statistical procedures and subsequently they are composed to the tables, charts and comments. Results: Due to the set plan of the thesis, we recorded during the four-year period an annual increase in the volume of the general training indicators of M.B. The volume of load is increasing in all the selected special training indicators.
