Návrh přídavného pokládacího zařízení pro aplikaci rolí skelné geomříže GlasGrid® / Design of an additional laying device for the application of GlasGrid® glass geogrid rolls

Mikl, Marek January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of an additional device for the application of glass grid rolls GlasGrid® and functional calculations. Diploma thesis was created in collaboration with company Saint-Gobain ADFORS. The designed equipment must be able to lay all the currently produced sizes of the rolls, connectable to the widest possible range of laying machines and must be possible to transport the equipment over a longer distance. The laying equipment must also comply with the strength analysis and functional calculations.

Vybrané projekční práce na procesu stripování kyselých vod / Selected designing works on the acid water stripping process

Motyka, Ondřej January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on selected designing works related to the design of a specific process of acid water stripping. The main purpose of the work is to describe the procedure and the obtained results for these performed design work based on the relevant assignment and the process requirements. In the introductory two chapters, the work focuses on process introduction and description of main process equipment. The following chapters are devoted to the description of the designing works, specifically simulation of the process in CHEMCAD, design calculation of the spiral plate heat exchanger for feed preheating, creation of 3D model and drawing documentation using AutoCAD Plant 3D and lastly strength analysis of the selected pipeline. The main outputs of this work are mainly generated result reports from the process and equipment simulation and strength analysis of the solved pipeline route, 3D model of the process and selected technical and drawing documentation. At the end of the diploma thesis, the performed activities and their outputs are summarized and evaluated.

Vychystávací jednotka skladovacího systému Multi tower / The picking unit of the Multi tower storage system.

Hertl, David January 2012 (has links)
This Diploma thesis deals with design of the drive and frame of the face and side picking unit of the Multitower storage system, and deals with their strength analysis. The first part of the thesis is the research part and deals with the picking unit´s conception, power options, drive solutions, carriage and safety elements. The thesis also deals with the solution of the wheel´s passive resistance, drive and brakes of both picking units. There are designed appropriate solutions on the basis of the results. The final part of the thesis contains the description of the picking unit structure and the strength analysis.

Podvozek skládkového stroje / Rail undercarriage of stacker/reclaimer

Schűssel, Jiří January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with rail undercarriage of stacker/reclaimer used in thermal power plants. The paper focuses on a conceptual framework of two-track bogie rail undercarriage and on a calculation of maximal load of undercarriage wheels within operational processes. The results are used for a design of two-wheel driven bogie and its main parts. The next part of the thesis presents finite element method analysis of a designed bogie along with a projection drawing. The diploma thesis was elaborated in cooperation with a company NOEN a. s.

Štípací stroj na dřevo / Wood-splitting machine

Henzl, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
The thesis describes the design of the wood-splitting machine including stress and check calculations and design of the hydraulic circuit. For structural design, it is necessary to choose the maximum dimensions of wooden logs, which have length 1,1 m and diameter 0,5 m and over. The machine structure is vertical. Another task of the thesis is a technical report of similar machines and the justification of the design concepts of splitting machine. In the thesis, there is elaborated an experiment on different types of wood splitters, stress analysis calculated by using finite element method and there is also drawn up technical parameters of wood.

The analysis and application of artificial neural networks for early warning systems in hydrology and the environment

Duncan, Andrew Paul January 2014 (has links)
Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) have been comprehensively researched, both from a computer scientific perspective and with regard to their use for predictive modelling in a wide variety of applications including hydrology and the environment. Yet their adoption for live, real-time systems remains on the whole sporadic and experimental. A plausible hypothesis is that this may be at least in part due to their treatment heretofore as “black boxes” that implicitly contain something that is unknown, or even unknowable. It is understandable that many of those responsible for delivering Early Warning Systems (EWS) might not wish to take the risk of implementing solutions perceived as containing unknown elements, despite the computational advantages that ANNs offer. This thesis therefore builds on existing efforts to open the box and develop tools and techniques that visualise, analyse and use ANN weights and biases especially from the viewpoint of neural pathways from inputs to outputs of feedforward networks. In so doing, it aims to demonstrate novel approaches to self-improving predictive model construction for both regression and classification problems. This includes Neural Pathway Strength Feature Selection (NPSFS), which uses ensembles of ANNs trained on differing subsets of data and analysis of the learnt weights to infer degrees of relevance of the input features and so build simplified models with reduced input feature sets. Case studies are carried out for prediction of flooding at multiple nodes in urban drainage networks located in three urban catchments in the UK, which demonstrate rapid, accurate prediction of flooding both for regression and classification. Predictive skill is shown to reduce beyond the time of concentration of each sewer node, when actual rainfall is used as input to the models. Further case studies model and predict statutory bacteria count exceedances for bathing water quality compliance at 5 beaches in Southwest England. An illustrative case study using a forest fires dataset from the UCI machine learning repository is also included. Results from these model ensembles generally exhibit improved performance, when compared with single ANN models. Also ensembles with reduced input feature sets, using NPSFS, demonstrate as good or improved performance when compared with the full feature set models. Conclusions are drawn about a new set of tools and techniques, including NPSFS and visualisation techniques for inspection of ANN weights, the adoption of which it is hoped may lead to improved confidence in the use of ANN for live real-time EWS applications.

Konstrukční návrh uložení měřící aparatury IMC ve vozidle / Design of Data Acquisition Equipment IMC Fastening System in the Car

Černý, Martin January 2018 (has links)
Devices for measuring the dynamic load and vibration of certain parts of the bodywork or parts of other parts of the vehicle are made using accelerometers and measuring instruments IMC. It must be simply installed into the interior of the vehicle so that it is not necessary to remove any parts of the interior and to avoid damage to all parts of the interior. The preparation must also withstand the considerable dynamic load generated by the harder operation tests.
