Metodika návrhu synchronizace a obnovy stavu systému odolného proti poruchám / Methodology for fault tolerant system state synchronization design and its recovery from faults

Szurman, Karel January 2021 (has links)
In this Ph.D. thesis, a new methodology for the fault tolerant system state synchronization design and its recovery from faults is presented. A state synchronization method designed by means of the proposed methodology allows to repair the state of sequential logic elements implemented in the FPGA application logic, which cannot be repaired by the partial dynamic reconfiguration. The proposed methodology describes possible state synchronization design methods with respect to TMR granularity, dependence of the system function on its previous states and the system architecture. The methodology focuses on coarse-grained TMR architectures and state synchronization in the systems controlled by means of finite state machines or a processor. The use of the methodology is demonstrated on the CAN bus control system and the microcontroller NEO430, for which specific synchronization methods were designed. The systems reliability and new ability of the systems for recovery from faults were verified in the presence of simulated SEU faults. The experimental results and the contribution of this thesis are discussed in the conclusion.

Firmware pro robotické vozítko / Firmware for the Robotic Vehicle

Otava, Lukáš January 2013 (has links)
This thesis is focused on a firmware for robotic vehicle based on the ARM Cortex-M3 architecture that is running a real-time operating system (RTOS). Theoretical part describes available solutions of embedded RTOS and concrete HW implementation of the robotic vehicle. There is also comparison of the three selected RTOS with their measurements. Result of this thesis is base firmware compounded by a program modules that controls HW parts. There is also a sample PC and firmware application that extends base firmware. This sample application is able to communicate with robotic vehicle, control wheel motion and measure process data.

Podpůrné algoritmy pro řízení elektrických motorů / Supporting algorithms for electrical motor control

Řezáč, Martin January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is focused on a creating supporting drivers and algorithms for electrical motor control using CPU TriCore TC275 CA. The first part is devoted to processor description and selected peripherals, which are A/D converter, a timer for creating the PWM signals and the second timer for processing singnals from encoder. All drivers are tested on an aplication kit, which is equipped with TC275 CA processor. The second part analyzes the measurement quality of GMR sensor TLE5009. Special testbench was prepared for sin cos data capturing and for their comparison with precise encoder position measurement. It was composed from DC motor having both sensor types on commons shaft. Data are acquired using LabView. Subsequently, it analyzes the sensor data, their compensation and subsequent comparison with measured data from the encoder.

Plánování a analýza pohybu zařízení pro absolutní kalibraci GNSS antén / Movement planning and analysis of device for absolute GNSS antenna calibration

Hynčicová, Tereza January 2014 (has links)
The thesis is aimed at movement analysis and planning of a robotic device for absolute GNSS antenna calibration, which is developed at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Institute of Geodesy. The first section is devoted to independent verification of the temporal synchronization of the robotic device’s movement, which is a prerequisite for the successful antenna calibration. The following section is focused on analysis of moveable characteristics since their knowledge is crucial for the following movement planning. Method of the device’s movement shooting by camera and evaluation its position based on gained photographs is used for both testing measurements. The final part is dedicated to movement planning, especially to calibrated antenna weighting influence on device’s movement characteristics, test results implementation into the observation program and arm movement planning considering the homogeneous calibration measurement layout.

MODELOVÁNÍ A IMPLEMENTACE SUBSYSTÉMŮ KOMUNIKAČNÍHO ŘETĚZCE V OBVODECH FPGA / COMMUNICATION CHAIN SUB-BLOCK MODELLING AND IMPLEMENTATION IN FPGA

Kubíček, Michal January 2010 (has links)
Most modern clock and data recovery circuits (CDR) are based on analog blocks that need to be redesigned whenever the technology process is to be changed. On the other hand, CDR based blind oversampling architecture (BO-CDR) can be completely designed in a digital process which makes its migration very simple. The main disadvantages of the BO-CDR that are usually mentioned in a literature are complexity of its digital circuitry and finite phase resolution resulting in larger jitter sensitivity and higher error rate. This thesis will show that those problems can be solved by designing a new algorithm of BO-CDR and subsequent optimization. For this task an FPGA was selected as simulation and verification platform. This enables to change parameters of the optimized circuit in real time while measuring on real links (unlike a simulation using inaccurate link models). The output of this optimization is a new BO-CDR algorithm with heavily reduced complexity and very low error rate. A new FPGA-based method of jitter measurement was developed (primary for CDR analysis), which enables a quick link characterization without using probing or additional equipment. The new method requires only a minimum usage of FPGA resources. Finally, new measurement equipment was developed to measure bit error distribution on FSO links to be able to develop a suitable error correction scheme based on ARQ protocol.

Návrh distribuovaného systému pro zpracování školní matriky ZŠ, SŠ, VOŠ / Distributed System for School Register of Basic and Secondary Schools

Martiš, Viktor Unknown Date (has links)
One of the software success condition on the software market is permanent development to keep in condition with actual technical tools. That is the reason why SAS software is searching for a way how to fulfil customer's requirements better. The change to the distributed system architecture brings new opportunities and sets up competitive advantage for SAS concurrently. The subject of this thesis is to create the design of movement to the distributed system. The main reason is to make analysis, design and partial implementation meeting functional requirements of the new architecture.

Encystace a životní cyklus volně žijících améb rodu Acanthamoeba spp. / Encystation and life cycle of free living amoebae of the genus Acanthamoeba spp.

Bínová, Eva January 2021 (has links)
Amoebae of the genus Acanthamoeba spp. are free-living unicellular organisms found in disparate ecosystems all over the world. Due to their ability to invade human body, evade its defensive mechanisms and cause extensive tissue damage, Acanthamoeba infection can lead to serious, if rare, diseases, affecting most commonly the eye and the central nervous system. Specific therapy for Acanthamoeba infections is not available. A major reason for therapeutic failure in ameobiasis is the ability of the protist to differentiate into resistant stages. These are cysts, known to be formed under prolonged unfavorable conditions, both in the environment and the infected tissues, and the pseudocysts, less durable but rapidly formed under acute stress. The present thesis focuses on as yet unexplored mechanisms of resistance of cysts and pseudocysts. Moreover, further characteristics distinguishing cysts and pseudocysts as well as the processes involved in their formation are investigated. One of the issues addressed is a presence of protective carbohydrate compounds mannitol and trehalose that participate in defensive reactions against abiotic stress in many organisms. Although putative genes for enzymes of the trehalose and mannitol synthetic pathways are present in the genome of Acanthamoeba, only one of the...

Švoma, Jan Unknown Date (has links)
The aim of this thesis is a complex design of the spotting press with a nominal force of 500 kN, which is intended for mating of the both halves of pressing tool for the automotive industry. The press ram is fitted with a hydraulic mechanism which allows the upper clamping board to be tilted in range of 0° -180° and removed from the working space of the press along a profile track. The lower clamping board is a part of moving bolster, which is equipped with a mechanism for lifting and centring. The concept of motion screws is used to drive the ram. Motion screws are mounted in a multiple-part frame and driven by servomotors. The thesis contains background research of the issue, solutions of the main design nodes of the press including calculations, detailed 3D model of the device and partial drawing documentation.
