The thesis "Attribute in Spanish language" is aimed at the analysis of the word patterns that are used to build an attribute. The target of the thesis is to define attributes as a part of a sentence and describe every particular kind of them. This analysis is based on the study of linguistic materials coming from both, Czech and Spanish sources. First, the theoretical part will be focused on the unification of the terminology. It will also be attempted to connect these two very different language systems in one. Further, the attribute will be described in detail from various formal points of view. In the practical part the findins from the theoretical part will be applied to analyze some text taken from Spanish periodicals. The results of analysis will be stated in the third part of the thesis, conclusion. The graphical illustration of the chosen results is would also be presented in the conclusion. The first aim of this work is to describe the issues of nominal syntagma as well as the absence of determinant that is connected to it. The other goal is to examine one type of this absence in a journalistic corpus L´Est Républicain. The analysis in this corpus will evaluate the frequency, the semantics and the syntactic functions of the chosen phenomenon in journalistic context. The work is divided into two parts: the theoretical and the practical one. In the first part, all the terms connected to the nominal syntagma will be defined. The nominal syntagma along with its nature and its parts will be described. At the same time, the cases of the absence of determinant in present-day French will be explained. The second part contains quantitative and qualitative analysis in the corpus L´Est Républicain. Subject of research are juxtaposed and coordinative enumerations in a different extent and in the different syntactic positions.

Generic use of articles in French This Diploma thesis deals with the generic use of articles in the French language. It is divided into the theoretical and the experimental part. After the broader introduction into the issue of determinants, the most important part of the work treats genericity expressed in French by the definite article in singular and plural as well as by the indefinite article in singular. Firstly, the existing research on the subject of generic articles is studied, including the presentation of various approaches and principal theories, then is formulated proper syntactic and semantic interpretation of genericity which is finally verified in the experimental part of the thesis based on the analysis of model sentences. The thesis deals with the relationship between anaforization of name syntagma and determination , which can be seen as an exponent of the anaforization process. The purpose of this work is to evaluate what role had the individual determinants in old French in comparison to their role in contemporary French. The thesis is based on the specialized literature and analysis of anaforical name syntagmas in the text Aucassin et Nicolette. The work is divided into two main parts. The first theoretical part is focused on defining the basic concepts using specialized literature on which the analysis is based and the second part is mainly the analysis itself of nominal syntagmas in the text Aucassin et Nicolette.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This paper aims to propose a reflection on the problem of defining, whose semantically stable appearance produces an effect of evidence of knowing, dissimulating the interpretative gesture of the subject it defines. Thus, our proposal is to develop a study on what makes a definition not merely a formulation inscribed in a paraphrastic net but a formulation that historicizes, that makes part of the interdiscourse at the same time it individualizes the subject, and makes him/her responsible for what s/he writes. Therefore, we work with the notion of function-author (ORLANDI, 2007 [1996]), in order to investigate what makes the definition a singular formulation. Furthermore, we question the effect of evidence that constitutes the act of defining, since our reflection on language accepts the discomfort of not settling on the evidence and in the place of the already-said. We take as an object of analysis the definition attributed to the designation of syntagma , which is associated to Saussure as the one who attributed to such a definition its conceptual character when introducing it in linguistic studies, and which, from the second half of the 20th century, started to make part of the grammarians domains in Brazil time when the grammarians saying was determined by the Brazilian Grammatical Nomenclature (NGB). Considering the displacement of the designation of syntagma among different knowledge domains, we propose to investigate how the linguists and the grammarians knowledge is articulated from the definition attributed to the syntagma designation. Thus, we first consider the definition of syntagma in the formulation of grammarians and how it constitutes a chain of paraphrastic constructions that lead to a source-formulation that is inscribed in another knowledge domain, and produces different effects of sense that are under the same appearance. Our work belongs to the History of Linguistic Ideas in its articulation with French Discourse Analysis. Thus, we reflect how some knowledge is constituted and then reformulated, getting thus specific features (GUIMARÃES, 2004). / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo propor uma reflexão sobre a problemática da definição, cuja aparência semanticamente estável produz um efeito de evidência do saber, dissimulando o gesto interpretativo do sujeito que define. Nossa proposta é desenvolver um estudo sobre o que faz com que a definição não seja apenas mais uma formulação inscrita em uma rede parafrástica, mas sim uma formulação que historiciza, que passa a fazer parte do interdiscurso, ao mesmo tempo em que individualiza o sujeito, colocando-o como responsável por aquilo que diz e escreve. Para tanto, mobilizaremos a noção de função-autor (ORLANDI, 2007 [1996]), procurando investigar o que torna a definição uma formulação singular. Além disso, questionaremos o efeito de evidência que constitui o ato de definir, uma vez que a nossa reflexão sobre a linguagem aceita o desconforto de não nos ajeitarmos nas evidências e no lugar do já-dito. Tomaremos como objeto de análise a definição atribuída à designação sintagma , a qual é associada a Saussure como aquele que primeiro atribuiu a essa designação um caráter conceitual ao introduzi-la nos estudos lingüísticos. Tal designação, a partir da segunda metade do século XX, passou a fazer parte também do domínio de saber do gramático no Brasil, época em que o dizer do gramático passou a ser determinado, sobretudo, pela Nomenclatura Gramatical Brasileira (NGB). Considerando o deslocamento da designação sintagma entre diferentes domínios de saber, propomos investigar como se articula o saber do linguista e do gramático a partir da definição atribuída à designação sintagma . Dessa forma, propomos considerar inicialmente a definição de sintagma na formulação do gramático e como, a partir daí, constitui-se uma rede de reformulações parafrásticas que remontam a uma formulação-origem que está inscrita em outro domínio de saber, produzindo efeitos de sentido diferentes sob a aparência do mesmo. Nosso trabalho está filiado à História das Ideias Linguísticas articulada à Análise de Discurso de linha francesa. Trata-se, pois, de refletir como certos saberes se constituem e, ao permanecerem, são reformulados, ganhando contornos específicos (GUIMARÃES, 2004).

The thesis discusses the expressions of cause in Spanish and presents an analysis of the linguistics theme based on the Spanish legal texts. The fundamental aims of the thesis are to find the expressions of cause in the Spanish legal texts and to analyse it. The thesis is divided in the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the linguistics characteristics of the legal texts and on the characteristics of the expressions of cause. The practical part presents an analysis of the expressions of cause based on one thousand of examples found in Spanish legal texts. The summary in Spanish is included.

In addition, it was possible to demonstrate the main dilemmas faced by them in the immigration process, as well as to deepen the understanding of Social Psychology in the context of immigration. For this research, the qualitative method and the tools of narrative life stories were applied. In order to analyze the data provided by the interviewees, the life history method was adopted, revealing the connections between individual and collective history lived by the immigrants, aiming to understand the dynamic being of these individuals. We sought the appropriation of concepts put forward by Ciampa (2003) about “Identity- Metamorphosis- Emancipation” and the dialectics faced by the individual in the construction of their identity, amply discussed by researchers from Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa Identidade- Metamorfose (NEPIM) at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. We also aimed at intensifying the studies on immigration and society, bringing forward the global, South American and Brazilian scenery, as a way of contextualizing the phenomenon, based on the works of Sayad (1998), Bauman (1998), Castles (2010) e Dobles, Vargas e Amador (2014). After the presentation of the literature review and the presuppositions about immigration, identity, life plan and the methodological analysis of the interview, we sought to conclude by showing the importance of the immigration process and the comprehension of the individual who migrates, in order to draw attention to the current reality and, at the same time, to propose public policies that may contribute to a better immigrant assimilation in the society that receives them. In addition, we verified that the immigrants interviewed had their lives transformed by the immigration process, taking ownership of their story and their becoming / A presente dissertação tem como objetivo compreender a constituição identitária e os projetos de vida de três imigrantes sul-americanas (Peru, Colômbia e Equador) que residem na cidade de São Paulo. Além disso, pôde-se evidenciar os principais dilemas enfrentados por elas no processo migratório, assim como aprofundar o entendimento da Psicologia Social sobre o contexto da imigração. Para esta pesquisa foi empregado o método qualitativo e o instrumento de narrativas de histórias de vida. Para a análise dos dados expostos pelas entrevistadas, utilizou-se do método de História de Vida, traduzindo as articulações entre a história individual e a história coletiva vivida pelos imigrantes, objetivando o entendimento da dinâmica ser/ estar desses indivíduos. This diploma thesis deals with prenominal and postnominal adjectives in Italian. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part, the theoretical one, describes the basic characteristics of Italian adjectives which are being classified. It also focuses on the prenominal and postnominal adjectives and on the factors that influence their position in classification. The second part, the practical one, works with the web corpus called itWaC. Using the web corpus, there are frequency lists of adjectives in positions ART-ADJ-NOUN and ART-NOUN-ADJ being created. It results in creation of one final list that includes the adjectives appearing in the position both before and after the noun. Then the chosen adjectives are being analyzed in order to verify the initial theoretical knowledge and to specify the changes in meaning, related to the position change of the adjectives.
