Vplyv eura na německou ekonomiku / The impact of the Euro on German economy

Krották, Viliam January 2017 (has links)
This master thesis analyses the impact of the euro on the German economy. The research is conducted through the examination of German export, GDP level, and labor market. It is also supplemented with the evaluation of the past, current and future stages of the Eurozone. The thesis provides a detailed theoretical background, which explains the motivation for the creation of a common currency. As a tool to prove the validity of my hypotheses I use the synthetic control method, where I model a hypothetical case, in which Germany did not adopt the euro. The validity of my results will be tested by using the confidence intervals and comparing the RMSPE ratio. By using this unique approach, I aim to contribute to the series of academic papers about the validity of the euro. In my research I have come to the conclusion, that the euro has positively influenced Germany's economy.

Vývoj nových glykosylačních metod pro syntézu nukleosidů / Development of new glycosylation methods for the synthesis of nucleosides

Downey, Alan Michael January 2017 (has links)
As they make up DNA and RNA, nucleosides are considered the key to life. Synthetic nucleosides also constitute many drugs that treat viral infections and cancer. As a result, more efficient methods to access these crucial molecules would have implications that extend beyond a synthetic chemist's benchtop and into medicinal chemistry and medical research. One of the most challenging steps in the synthesis of nucleosides is the glycosylation step between the acceptor heterocycle (nucleobase) and the saccharide-based donor. Often to obtain satisfactory yield of this step with good regio- and stereochemical control the extensive use of protecting groups must be employed to squelch reactivity at unwanted reactive groups. Consequently, this process of protection−glycosylation−deprotection is laborious, inefficient, and often requires the use of toxic reagents. It would be, therefore, highly welcomed if new methodology to effect this glycosylation step was designed that reduces or removes the need to use protecting groups, but would still provide nucleosides in good yield, regio- and stereoselectively. Herein, this thesis presents my efforts into achieving this end. By employing modified Mitsunobu conditions, I determined that it is possible to directly glycosylate a nucleobase with D-ribose to afford...

Syntetická projektivní geometrie / Synthetic projective geometry

Zamboj, Michal January 2018 (has links)
A synthetic approach to the construction of projective geometry, its methods and selected results are given in the proposed thesis. The main historical drawbacks of the original proof of Chasles's theorem for non-developable ruled surfaces and von Staudt's formalization of projective geometry are commented. The corre- sponding theoretical background is elaborated on visual demonstrations with the accent to interrelations of classical synthetic, axiomatic and analytic points of view. Synthetic methods of projective geometry and their mixture with analytic methods are described on examples including numerous alternative proofs and generalizations of some theorems. A method of four-dimensional visualization is introduced in details. Elementary constructions of images of points, lines, planes and 3-spaces are followed by models of polychora, their sections and shadows. Chasles's theorem is proven for non-developable ruled quadrics on synthetic vi- sualizations, then generalized and proven within the pure projective framework for algebraic surfaces. The synthetic classification of regular quadrics is derived from descriptive geometry constructions of sections of four-dimensional cones and analytically verified in the projective extension of the real space. An integral part of the thesis is a...

Vliv zátky na zrání vín

Fojtík, Petr January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is focused on assessing the impact of different type of closure for wine aging. Theoretical part describes and characterizes the most common types of closure which are currently used for bottling of wines intended for further aging in the bottle. Characterized kinds of closure are also commonly available on the market and useable in the winery practice. In term of their use, the paper describes their advantages and disadvantages. Within the literary section also provides a description of the factors influence and impact on the aging of wine. The practical part describes the methodology of the measurement method and analytical determination of the amount of free and total sulfur dioxide in wine. Wine samples are evaluated, which was closed a total of nine different type of closures and this closures are describe in the theoretical part. Then there is also the methodology used and the method of sensory evaluation of wines according OIV hundred-point scale and method of evaluation of the structure and substance of wine. The measured and the results are evaluated and selected the optimal type of closure suitable for further aging of the wine in the bottle.

Porozumění čtenému u žáků 2. třídy základní školy (analyticko - syntetická a genetická metoda) / Reading comprehension of pupils in the second grade of elementary school

Kulhavá Vlachová, Lenka January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to assess the reading comprehension of pupils in the second grade of elementary school. This work focuses on possible existence of differences in reading comprehension of children taught using analytic-synthetic and genetic method. The content of this thesis is also a reading self-evaluation of these students. The theoretical part acquaints readers with the main topics related to the issue, with the help of available literature sources. It focuses particularly on issues of literacy, reading, reading comprehension, reading teaching methods, self-evaluation of reading, reader environment or reading diagnostics. Due to the research goals, for the practical part, quantitative methodology was used. The test battery includes two tests of reading comprehension and self-assessment questionnaire. Examination "We're going on a trip" is taken from a research project Reading comprehension- typical development and its risk. Other used methods are test "Hedgehog" and "Questionnaire reading for pupils in second year". These methods were created under the project Development of the reading literacy competencies in the inclusive education. The research sample includes 155 children attending the second grade of primary school (66 taught analytic-synthetic reading method and 89 genetic...

Porozumění čtenému u dětí 2. třídy v analyticko-syntetické metodě a genetické metodě čtení / Comprehension of reaging

Rabenhauptová, Lucie January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused to the reading comprehension of the second class pupils at a primary school. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part presents the basic concepts of mapping the issues, such as reading, literacy, reading comprehension; there are also introduced the educational methods (the analytic-synthetic and genetic) and the diagnostic techniques for determining the grade of the reading comprehension in pedagogical-psychological counseling. The ending of this part was dedicated the project Three-level model of care and the results of diagnostic screenings of reading analyzed in the works of P. Barešová (2009, 2010). The target of the practical part was the analysis of resulst of the second class pupils from new created Test of reading comprehension (Pokorná, Wolfová, Kucharská, in Kucharská, 2011). Three types of tasks (such as labeling borders words, fill in missing words in the text and making decision of the claims, whether they are true, in relation to the picture). The data collection was made in the project - Three-level model of care carried out by IPPP ČR (There was involved 345 pupils from 7 primary schools from three parts of Czech Republic - Prague, Central and South Bohemian Region and Moravia). The conducted analysis of...

Efektivita výuky syntetické metody čtení a psaní v anglickém jazyce u EFL studentů / Effectiveness of teaching synthetic phonics to EFL students

Urbanová, Lucie January 2017 (has links)
The effectiveness of teaching synthetic phonics to EFL students Abstract The diploma considers the effectiveness of systematic and explicit Synthetic Phonics teaching methods in the EFL learning environment. The theoretical section examines foreign language methodology - the field of reading acquisition in young learners, especially English language pronunciation. It studies how systematic explicit Phonics approach can help in learning how to read and pronounce words correctly. It explores the similarities and differences between teaching Synthetic and Analytic Phonics, and compares them. Furthermore it discusses whether synthetic phonics is useful not only for native English speakers, but also for EFL students. The practical part focuses on testing two groups of children who have different experiences of phonics. The data were collected in Prague and the Hradec Králové region. There were 62 students tested out of whom 33 were in a control group and 29 were taught using a systematic Phonics approach. A specially designed test consisting of two different activities was applied. It tested word reading, non-word pronouncing and sight word recognition. The aim of the research was to find out whether explicit Synthetic Phonics teaching instruction helps not only native English speakers, but also EFL learners in...
