Koncept tříd v dějinách sociálního myšlení a v soudobé sociologii / The concept of classes in the history of social thought and contemporary sociology

This thesis is a theoretical-historical attribute and focuses on the theory of classes and class conflict, on the genesis of the concept of class. The thesis will analyze the authors and directions-schools that have had an impact on the ideological founder of the concept Karl Marx and also how they developed their thinking. Marx nor any other author of the term "class, classes, class" never clearly defined. It is a historical and sociological perspective on the concept of "class", which is often defined differently, and still there is any clear definition, which would approve whole academic community. In modern societies, the term "class" is not used so often and has been replaced by the concept of social stratification. In recent years, the "classes" being discussed by worldwide experts, but the solution is still not found. Nevertheless, this work is optimistic and the author clearly advocates that the term "class" will not vanish from professional sociological discourse.

The dissertation describes qualitative research undertaken to study the discovery process in a class at the individual, group and whole class levels. This process is demonstrated on the case of discovering the parity of number zero (odd or even) in two class discussions. These discussions took place in a class of fourth year pupils at primary school, taught by the author in a constructivist way, within a one month period of each other. The research database contains also audio and video recordings, written work of the observed pupils, the author's teaching diary and it is analyzed and compared with literature. The methodology focuses on classifying the broad spectrum of pupils' responses and thinking processes not only in relation to the selected problem but also to related problems. Some of the described events are commented on with recommendations how to handle the didactic situations that occurred or compared with hypothetical situations typical for transmissive teaching. The main results of this work fall in the cognitive, metacognitive and social area are summarized into seventeen points that highlight the importance of discussion for the complexity of pupils' knowledge, for the enriching and refining their ideas, increasing their autonomy and ability to cooperate.

The goal of the diploma work is to demonstrate the possibilities of montessori education elements implementation into the education of the children with autism spectrum disorders in the preparatory form of the special elementary school. This is performed on the basis of the theoretical knowledge gained by the specific material study and by using the methods of the inspiring practice. The theoretical part has three chapters. It deals with the subject of the persons with mental disorder and is mainly focused on the children with the autism spectrum disorders. It describes the autism spectrum disorders, their etiology, diagnosis and the intervention options for people with the autism spectrum disorders. It is dedicated also to the education of children and pupils with the autism spectrum disorders and the mental disorder within the preparatory form of the special elementary school. It introduces in great detail the montessori pedagogy and its elements. The empirical part states the definition of the research inquiry. The main aim of this master project is to design a new nursery school with a parking lot and playground in Jinačovice. The building has single floor and flat green roof. It is divided into three main parts: middle part, class A, class B. The middle part includes a wind lobby, corridor and auxiliary rooms such as cleaning room, staff rooms, storage and utility room. Almost identical classes A and B include a day room/play room, changing room, children washroom, storage of toys and kitchen. The vertical loadbearing masonry is made of Porotherm ceramic blocks. The envelope walls insulated with ETICS. The horizontal loadbearing structure is made of Spiroll panels. Heating energy is supplied by two air-water heat pump. Ventilation is provided by air conditioning with heat recovery. Shading is provided by external louvers. The project was carried out in AutoCAD.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to map the issue of social integration of students with Asperger syndrome into a regular class of elementary school. The theoretical part is based on analysis of publications related to the topic. It deals with the description of the Asperger syndrome diagnosis and its symptoms, the concept of integration, mainly the integration of a student with Asperger syndrome, and the issue of classroom climate and the possibilities of its diagnostics and development. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. In it, the author focuses on the analysis of social status of integrated students with Asperger syndrome. Sociometrical techniques are combined with projective method and both are supplemented with a questionnaire for teachers and qualitative methods, primarily interviews with teachers and observation in class. The MHC class I status of tumour cells during immunotherapy is often underestimated. It represents one of important tumour escape mechanisms and thus can contribute to the failure of most of the cancer clinical trials that are usually based on the induction of cytotoxic T cell responses. Epigenetic changes in the promoters of genes involved in the MHC class I Ag presentation can result in decreased expression of the cell surface MHC molecules on tumour cells. Thus, epigenetic modifiers can restore an expression of the MHC class I molecules and make tumours visible to the CD8+ effector cells. Besides the epigenetic changes on the tumour cells, epigenetic modulators affect cells of the immune system such as dendritic cells (DC). Tumour cells can escape from the immune response not only by changes in the cancer cells, but also by influencing, expanding and/or activating immunoregulatory cell populations, such as regulatory T cells (Treg). This thesis focuses on the potential of the DC-based vaccines against HPV-16-associated tumours with a different MHC class I expression, on the combination of cancer immunotherapy with the treatment using epigenetic modifiers, with special attention paid to their effects on DC, and, finally, on the impacts of the anti-CD25 antibody (used for Treg elimination) on Treg and NKT...

The aim of the dissertation is to compare the psychosocial climate of the classes between the 5th and 6th grades of Czech elementary school. In the train of pupils' leaving into the high- tracked schools there are significant organizational changes in the classes of the 6th grade. This theme includes the phenomenon of the early tracking, when some pupils can leave the mainstream of education (elementary school) and start attending the high-tracked schools (multi-year gymnasium). The aim of our study is to contribute to the research, that with the departure of students into high-tracked schools the psychosocial climate in the classes of the 6th grade unequivocally exacerbates. We are also interested in which specific students are accepted into high-tracked schools, and whether they are effective classroom leaders and socio- metric stars. In our study, we also find out the classroom positions of students who are continuously educated in the 5th and 6th grades of the elementary schools and their classmates, who have come as new students into the classes of the 6th grade. In the theoretical section we introduce the foreign and domestic researches which were conducted on the association between tracking and classroom climate.
