This dissertation deals with table seating at a vertical lathe made by TOSHULIN, a.s. The target is to design such table seating which would replace the existing seating solution with a cross bearing having better technical and economical parameters. The dissertation includes analysis of some chosen variants of table seating; this analysis has been done from several aspects and it is completed by the subsequent evaluation. After the results of multi criterion analysis have been evaluated, I performed calculation as well as designing of two table seating variants in the practical dissertation part.

At the end of the thesis the concept of the solution for workplace safety is created according to current legislation and safety standards.

Master’s thesis proposes a new algorithm which enables efficient conversion of graphical representation of warehouse into graph theory representation and consequently accelerates estimation for route costs. The proposed algorithm computes route distances between any places in warehouse based on Breadth first search, image processing „skeletonization“ and Dijkstra algorithm. Using the proposed algorithm it is possible to search routes in a warehouse effectively and fast using precomputed routing table. Searching time is less then milisecond using routing table and even size of warehouse doesn’t affect it significantly instead of using Dijkstra algorithm.

This thesis focuses on the application of the tangible user interface and spatial augmented reality principals for playing board games. For this purpose, a system called interactive table was developed. It is both hardware and software solution. The hardware part solves the installation of a depth camera and a projector located above the table. The software solution deals with calibration of the depth camera and projector system using known procedures for camera calibration on the one hand, on the other hand it solves tasks from the field of computer vision. This perceptional part is the core of the whole thesis and for the purposes of playing board games it provides information about the location of the physical game object, physical game board and the calculations of mask for masking distracting objects. An educational application was developed for the purposes of demonstration of the system options. The interactive table offers new possibilities for playing board games in a real-world environment by the combination of the augmented reality elements with real-world objects and the related new user experience.

Orientador: Odair Aparecido Fernandes / Resumo: A mosca-branca Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) biótipo B é uma das principais pragas agrícolas no Brasil e no mundo. O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar o potencial de predação de Amblyseius tamatavensis Blommers (Acari: Phytoseiidae) em cultivo protegido de tomate, bem como a dinâmica dos fatores de mortalidade de mosca-branca. Para tanto, foram conduzidos experimentos em laboratório e estufa. Inicialmente foi avaliada a preferência de predação por ovos e ninfas de B. tabaci. Posteriormente foi determinada a resposta funcional e numérica de A. tamatavensis sobre imaturos de B. tabaci. Também foi avaliada a eficiência de A. tamatavensis no controle de B. tabaci sobre plantas de tomate. Por último, a dinâmica dos fatores naturais de mortalidade de mosca-branca foi comparada entre cultivos de tomate infestados com B. tabaci na presença ou ausência de A. tamatavensis. Os resultados mostram que A. tamatavensis tem preferência por estágios iniciais de B. tabaci (ovos, ninfas do primeiro e segundo instar). A resposta funcional é do tipo II e o ácaro alimentado com ovos de B. tabaci pode ovipositar 1,4 ovos/dia. A liberação de 26 ou 78 ácaros predador/m2 logo após a infestação de mosca-branca apresentam o mesmo nível de controle. Com isso estão estabelecidas as bases para um programa de controle biológico da mosca-branca. / Abstract: The whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) biotype B is one of the main agricultural pests in Brazil and worldwide. The objective of this study was to evaluate the predation potential of Amblyseius tamatavensis Blommers (Acari: Phytoseiidae) in protected tomato cultivation, as well as the dynamics of whitefly mortality factors. Experiments were carried out in laboratory and greenhouse. Initially, the predation preference for eggs and nymphs of B. tabaci was evaluated. Subsequently, the functional and numerical response of A. tamatavensis on immature B. tabaci was determined. The efficiency of A. tamatavensis to control B. tabaci on tomato plants was also evaluated. Finally, the dynamics of natural whitefly mortality factors were compared between B. tabaci infested tomato crops in the presence and absence of the predator A. tamatavensis. The results showed that A. tamatavensis has a preference for early stages of B. tabaci (eggs, first and second instar nymphs). The functional response is type II and the mite feeding upon B. tabaci eggs can oviposit 1.4 eggs/day. The release of 26 or 78 predatory mites/m2 soon after whitefly infestation has the same level of control. This establishes the foundation for a whitefly biological control program. / Doutor

We investigate power graphs of quasigroups. The power graph of a quasigroup takes the elements of the quasigroup as its vertices, and there is an edge from one element to a second distinct element when the second is a left power of the first. We first compute the power graphs of small quasigroups (up to four elements). Next we describe quasigroups whose power graphs are directed paths, directed cycles, in-stars, out-stars, and empty. We do so by specifying partial Cayley tables, which cannot always be completed in small examples. We then consider sinks in the power graph of a quasigroup, as subquasigroups give rise to sinks. We show that certain structures cannot occur as sinks in the power graph of a quasigroup. More generally, we show that certain highly connected substructures must have edges leading out of the substructure. We briefly comment on power graphs of Bol loops.
