Cyberespace et paysage : regards croisés sur la ville et les environnements digitaux / Cyberspace and landscape : Crossing visions of city and digital environments

Zattoni, Olivier 16 October 2014 (has links)
This research focuses on symbolic, artistic and representational issues linked to Web and connected systems, such as mobile phones and tablets. Because the screen, i.e. the monitor, is now considered in its mobility, it has to be perceived as a window opened toward the outside. However, the monitor also sketches a lanscape where cyberespace, beyond its logical nature, has to be combined with a reality that aftermath becomes fragmented and recomposed. This applies to the steps we spread while walking in the street, soon transcribed in data on our smartphone : from a simple walk to a track that edges into the city. In this context, city becomes a kind of text and digital artefacts participate to its rewriting, juxtaposing new maps. As city represents the fragmented and the multiple, cyberspace implies a vision of urbanity where man merges himself with technology in a specific way: virtual worlds, along with videogames, science-fiction litterature and movies bring us back to the cyberpunk movement, and before, with the ’shock’ of cities experienced during the modernity by Georg Simmel and Walter Benjamin. This chaos of senses, space and time which defines modern cities is also typical of a technological power that tends to lead the society. Far from orwellian visions, the current advanded technology, although it appears crossed by political, technological and social matters, has to be situated in the context of cybersensbility. Actually in this era of networks and mature technology stands a new vision of technology that implies new practices, new attempts, and makes the cybersensibility concept tangible, as it is opposed to a passive conception in the use of technologies.

Alternativy a nové cesty kostýmního výtvarnictví / Alternative and new ways of costume design

Rybáková, Simona January 2014 (has links)
This work is aiming to show costume designing as an essential artistic field of today which surpasses limits of applied arts or mere decoration in an effort of emancipation. It talks about the specific characteristics of this field and how it surpasses into other domains and it opens chapters which I deemed significant to my topic. The text outlines my professional career as costume designer to my pedagogic and finally to my organisational curator?s experience. I describe how I enrich the basic practical and empirical education with an emphasis on the artistic way of expression with more theoretical and analytical abilities. The latter is documented mainly with the exhibition ?Extreme costume? in PQ 2011.An important part is the vocabulary of some rather technical terms; it is very liquid and constantly changing. Predominant tendency is to find terms commonly revealing to help the lay audience understand a discipline which can be attractive when a suitable form and presentation is used. Besides the language it is also new topics reflecting costume and its development such as; costume as performance, nudity as/and costume, event and an act of wearing a dress, installation and costume, light and costume, technology and costume which complete the perspective. The number of themes which emerged in the last 6 years is high and sometimes they are connected only seemingly. Some are entering disciplines which are interconnected and influence each other mutually. Therefore some examples of work process are used repeatedly in a comparative or illustrative role.Throughout the whole work the search is for new paths, techniques and materials for costume design and its emancipation. Next to this stands no less important role of costume as a part of action scenography as well as the postmodernism of 1980?s which is a significant starting point of my own work. In contrast to certain excessiveness stands the concept of unpretentious costume completed with specifics of film costume designing.Fashion show as a show with all the aspects of a dramatic piece/performance considers consumer and sociological topics and can be linked to reshaping and costume recycling which closely relates to economic and ecologic aspects too.Emancipation effort is joined with its presentation in public in the form of exhibitions, events, workshops and its documentation for the future. The technological ?boom? occurred especially with the emerge of light costume and ?wearables? as well as the research for materials and the work of realizers on creative ideas of the artists. An inseparable part is a dictionary of alternative materials used in costume designing and a extensive bibliography.

Nová technologie energetického využití odpadů a její přínos k ochraně životního prostředí

Knappová, Dominika January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the energy recovery of waste at the level of conventional and new technologies and their implementation in the Czech Republic. Using the data which were available are given by characteristics, information about equipment, product portfolio and their impact on the environment. These technologies are schematically and in principle described by the available data. The work includes a whole chapter devoted to the legislation, which is energy waste processing and waste management such as conditional and trends in the law in selected European countries. Furthermore, the work described capacity, the inputs outputs of the technology. The result is an assessment of both technology and subsequent evaluation and suggestions for the future to reduce the amount of waste deposited to landfill by using modern technology.

Vyhodnocení ohroženosti pozemků vybraného katastrálního území vodní erozí

Zámečník, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is focused on evaluation of vulnerability of land cadastral area Rovečné water erosion and proposing specific erosion control measures. The intensity of the water erosion was determined by calculating the Universal Soil Loss Equation according Wischmeier and Smith. The calculation of the universal equation and determine the long-term average soil loss by erosion prior to the proposal and the proposal of its own anti-erosion measures was realized through the ArcGIS. Calculating factors universal equation was found that 213.80 ha (26.10% area) occurs very strong erosion, that has been proposed measures completely eliminated. The 156.34 ha (19.08%) there is a strong erosion, on 82.16 ha (10.03%) there is medium erosion and on 366.90 ha (44.79%) is a slight erosion. The proposed anti-erosion measures were mainly the introduction of the minimization tillage the cultivation of crops. For a comprehensive erosion control of area where was persisting increased erosion was designed protective grassing.

Volatile substances are responsible for the fragrance features not only sparkling wines. According to research there are more than 400 compounds. In this thesis is shortly mentioned technology of the sparkling wines and sparkling wines in the Czech Republic. Most of the work is devoted to the characterization of volatile substances found in sparkling wines. In the experimental part, 26 of samples were evaluated by sensory evaluation but the priority is given to volatile substances. By GC-MS were measured 65 volatile substances, which were subsequently evaluated. The focus is primarily on substances for which there is a decline during aging (amyl acetate), or growth (diethyl succinate, furfural, etc.). Volatile substances are evaluated not only by producers, but also by country of origin and in the last chapter is compared between the technology productions.
