Úroveň sebepéče pacientů po amputaci dolní končetiny / The level of self-care patients after leg amputation

HONZÁRKOVÁ, Klára January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with the issue of patients after the amputation of the lower limb. Loss of the lower limb means a great change for the patient, not only in understanding the integrity of one's own body, one's own health, but also from a functional point of view. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the latest available knowledge about lower limb amputation and postoperative care for patients with this diagnosis. It also deals with self-care, based on Dorotheus Orem's theory of self-care deficit. The aim of the work was to determine the level of self-care of patients after amputation of the lower limb using some aspects of D. E. Orem's model. To find out in what systems D.E. Orem's nurses support patients after the amputation of the lower limb in self-care and how to help nurses care for these patients. The research part of the thesis was realized through a qualitative research survey. The technique of data collection was a semi-structured interview with patients with amputation of the lower limb and nurses who provide nursing care for such ill persons. The theoretical basis for the interview was the DE Oremové model, which was complemented by the ADL (Activity Daily Living), IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Scale) and the analogue range of pain in the group of respondents - patients. The data obtained were processed in the form of transcripts of the interviews, which are supplemented by evaluation of individual scales. The output of the diploma thesis is a set of recommended measures and a proposal of a comprehensive information material on the amputation of the lower limb for patients, which the nurses should be available to their departments.

Optimal portfolio selection under Expected Shortfall optimisation with Random Matrix Theory denoising / Optimal portfolio selection under Expected Shortfall optimisation with Random Matrix Theory denoising

Šíla, Jan January 2018 (has links)
This thesis challenges several concepts in finance. Firstly, it is the Markowitz's solution to the portfolio problem. It introduces a new method which de- noises the covariance matrix - the cornerstone of the portfolio management. Random Matrix Theory originates in particle physics and was recently intro- duced to finance as the intersection between economics and natural sciences has widened over the past couple of years. Often discussed Efficient Market Hypothesis is opposed by adopting the assumption, that financial returns are driven by Paretian distributions, in- stead of Gaussian ones, as conjured by Mandelbrot some 50 years ago. The portfolio selection is set in a framework, where Expected Shortfall replaces the standard deviation as the risk measure. Therefore, direct optimi- sation of the portfolio is implemented to be compared with the performance of the classical solution and its denoised counterpart. The results are evalu- ated in a controlled environment of Monte Carlo simulation as well as using empirical data from S&P 500 constituents. 1

Klasická a kvantová chaotická dynamika v reaktivním rozptylu atomů a molekul. / Classical and quantum chaotic dynamics in reactive scattering of atoms and molecules.

Trnka, Jiří January 2018 (has links)
The thesis deals with quantum reaction dynamics of three-particle systems. The thesis summarizes main theoretical results about three-body problem in quantum mechanics. A simple two dimensional model of three-particle system corresponding to atom-diatom collision was studied as a part of this thesis. The model allows for vibrational excitation and reaction processes. Solution based on distorted-wave method and Schwinger variational principle is proposed to solve the model. Proposed method of solution is then applied to a system of three coupled Morse potential energy surfaces. Probabilities of possible proces- ses depending on energy of incoming particle were calculated using the proposed method of solution for two variants of coupled Morse PESs. 1

Strategie zvládání zátěže v souvislosti s obrazem rodičů u dětí v dětském diagnostickém ústavu / Copings Strategies and its connection with view of Parents by childern in The Children{\crq}s diagnostic institution

BRYCHTOVÁ, Petra January 2009 (has links)
The broad issue of cooping with stress and pressure as well as the attachment theory and its connection with social and emotional development of children of the certain age is found it the theoretical part of our work. Behaviour disturbances and their impact of further social and emocional development of the child are described too. Connection between these disturbances, the attachment theory and acquiering of cooping strategie is also explained. The Children{\crq}s diagnostic institution is shortly described. In the practical part of our work we can learnt about the research that has been done with the children from the Diagnostic Institut. This research brings more clarification of validity of BISK metod in conditions of the Czech Republic. The resutls of the research discover possible relations between the attachment dynamic of the child{\crq}s family and the aspects of emotional attachment of the child with his parents as well as cooping starategies resulting from them. The results of the research acknowledge truth that the children coming from unfuncional families use rather avoiding strategies of behavior if facing stress. We clarify that the children are under influence of their family environment {--} nonsupporting parents thier behaviour. Our work can bring contributions for furhter scientific research and also for work in the field of prevention and therapy.

Vztah rozhodčího řízení a obecných předpisů občanského práva procesního / Relation between Arbitration proceedings and Rules Of Civil Procedural Law

Vlnová, Jitka January 2017 (has links)
77 Resumé The topic of this thesis is Relation between Arbitration proceedings and Rules of Civil Procedural Law. The thesis focuses on arbitration regulated by Act No. 216/1996 Coll., On Arbitration Proceedings and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and looks for similarities in the proceedings in front of the ordinary courts, which is primarily regulated by the Act no. 99/1963 Coll., Civil Procedure Code. Arbitration uses provisions of the Civil Procedure Code in cases where the legislation provided by Act. No. 216/1996 is missing completely or is not sufficient. The work is divided into seven main chapters, which are further divided into sub- chapters. The first chapter describes rules for procedural managements of the arbitration proceedings. It draws attention to the legal possibility for the parties to agree on their own rules of procedure in the management and suggests that the parties' agreement may also directly refer to the legal provisions of the court proceedings. The next two chapters deal with theoretical introduction to the use of the Code of Civil Procedure in arbitration. They analyze the possibility of using the Civil Procedure Code from the perspective of the two major theoretical concepts of arbitration and define grammatical and teleological meaning of the provisions of the Arbitration Act...

Význam času a místa v procesu migrace. Zkušenost dvou generací Čechů žijících v Berlíně / The meaning of time and space in the migration process. The experience of two generations of Czechs living in Berlin

Jansová, Lenka January 2017 (has links)
(in English): This paper is concerned with the interrelation among social structures and individual agency in the migration process. Aim of the thesis is to contextually explain motivations and strategies of two Czech generations who migrated to Berlin. It focuses on generation of Czechs who left homeland between 1968-1989 and migration generation who moved after the accession of The Czech Republic to the European Union. The accent put on the time(s) and place(s) in the migration process enables to compare generations, and is the key to understanding interaction of structures and agency. Theoretical and methodological framework is formed by the concept of the theory of practices from Karen O'Reilly (2012), to interpret the meaning of the time(s) the life course perspective was used, the meaning of place(s) was interpreted by the concept of migration networks and transnationalism. The core of the empirical part is analysis of ethnographic material concerning notes from participant observation and narrative in-depth interviews with biographical elements (micro-level). The interpretation of motivations and strategies of the migration as well as social ties and practice is set in broader structures and events context i.e. historical and geographic relationship between the countries and the political...
