Proměny diakonie v Českobratrské církvi evangelické v teologické reflexi / Transformations of Diakonia in the Evangelical Church of Czech BrethrenŠIMR, Karel January 2018 (has links)
The thesis aims to contribute to the theoretical grounding of diakonia as the Christian-oriented practice of helping in modern society. Methodologically the author works with the social systems theory developed by Niklas Luhmann, which enables a differentiated description of the multidimensional reality of Christian helping action in its historical development and present situation. In the first part, the topic is theologically grounded ? biblically, historically and dogmatically. Then the main features of social systems theory are presented. Emphasis is placed on the dual ? primary (functional) and secondary (social) ? differentiation in society and its consequences for understanding diakonia. In this context diakonia is observed as the structural coupling of the systems of social help and Christianity and subsequently defined as helping in gospel perspective, which can be observed at micro-, meso- and macro-levels, i.e., in the context of interaction, organization and society ? and at the same time different theories must be developed for Christian helping at the individual levels. In the second part, the sociological description of the differentiation of diakonia is first confronted with theologically-oriented descriptions of differentiation in the context of Christianity and, following especially Wichern?s division of diakonia into civic, free and ecclesial, attention is focused on the ?tripod of diakonia? in the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren in the form of Diaconia of ECCB, Christian service and diaconate. This multi-focus view of diakonia makes it possible to reflect on its mutually irreducible layers and search for adequate theories for each of them. In the formation of the Christian dimension of the organization emphasis is placed on cultivating an adequate organization culture. Interaction has to do with the mutual ?neighborly? help within a community. The specific function of diaconate is identified in constructing bridges between the ecclesial level of Christianity and its connection with the system of social help, as well as other partial systems in society ? and in this sense it is perceived as again highly relevant. In the concluding chapter, the communication-based approach of social systems theory is correlated with the practical-theological paradigm of gospel communication. In this context diakonia is understood as an inseparable part of ?gospel communication?.

The aim of the theses is to describe meanings, which female readers of the slash subgenre derive from it, and interpretive strategies they use to create those meanings. Slash is a type of literature that conceives or develops the same-sex romantic and sexual relationships of male characters from original media art. The subject of work study is the public of this type of literature, which is composed primarily of women. The work is based on the perspective of interpretivism and uses the concept of interpretative communities. According to this concept, meanings are being negotiated within a group of readers sharing interpretative strategies. In this work, I view slashers as an interpretive community and therefore assume that the readers' strategies and meanings will show some similarities. The technique of semi-structured interviews is used to achieve the goals of the theses. The interviews took place with nine female slashers. Psoriáza jako stigma / Psoriasis as a stigmaSLÁDKOVÁ, Tereza January 2008 (has links)
For elaborating my thesis I have chosen the topic: {\clqq}Psoriasis like stigma``. Taking into consideration that at present the public is interested in a number of diseases I would like more attention is paid to this stigmatized affection. I hold my interest in focusing my thesis on the stigmatization, because I know from clients with psoriasis that they really feel quite a number of problems in certain areas. My thesis is focused on two wholes, namely on theoretical and empirical parts. The first part of the theoretical part deals with problems of psoriasis, its forms, initiating mechanisms, manifestations and methods of treatment of this disease. The second part of the theoretical part deals with stigma, explanation of the concept stigma, what is the attitude of the society towards psoriatics, what is their position in their families, in work etc. In the empirical part my goal was to find out, whether the people with psoriasis are stigmatized and in which areas of life the psoriatics perceive their disease like stigma, whether they feel restricted in partnerships, working relationships and leisure time activities. Within a quantitative survey the data collection technique was applied {--} a questionnaire. The questionnaire was intended for the clients with psoriasis enlisted especially through the direct contact from the server www.lupenka.cz, further relatives, acquaintances and clients of Hospital České Budějovice. Overall 94 questionnaires were distributed. The questionnaire consisted of 34 questions concerning hypotheses. The clients with psoriasis introduced they feel restricted the most within the leisure time activities. In the empirical part I was gratified that the general nurses and physician have a great credit of psoriatics{\crq} awareness of their disease and help them to cope with the disease. I see the greatest problem in lack of information on psoriasis of the public. This disclosure leads to take a think of an improvement of the public awareness of this disease. As a proposal of this problem solution I propound to inform the public more so that the people get to know more information on psoriasis not only from physicians and nurses, but also from patients themselves being afflicted with the disease. The survey results can further serve as grounds for further study of the problems.
