The content of the presented dissertation work is the study of the histological structure of the burned and unburned compact bone of the human rib. The aim was to evaluate the effects of the differently high cremation temperatures on the structure of the bone tissue, and, on the basis of these findings, to design an applicable methodology for the estimation of the age-at-death of an unknown individual. As the research material the recent human ribs were used, belonging to the individuals of known age-at-death, sex and cause of death. The skeletal samples were experimentally burned under the beforehand set conditions. Every bone was divided into several pieces; one of them remained unburned, and the other were burned at the temperatures of 600, 700, 800 and 1000řC. From burned and unburned bone samples the undecalcified and unstained cross- sections were made, which were microscopically analysed under the magnification of 100×. The histological analysis was performed in the digital microphotographs using the SigmaScan Pro 5 image analysis programme. In each cross-section in total 28 variables were studied, and obtained histomorphometric data were statistically processed using the Statistica 6 programme. Návrh zařízení pro měření a hodnocení tepelného stavu prostředí / Device Proposal for Measurement and Evaluation of Environmental Thermal State

The thesis deals with evaluation of the environmental thermal state in closed rooms with people inside the room. The achievement of thermal comfort is related to thermal balance of human body. People are producing heat during their work, which has to be carried away from the body to surrounding area by radiation, convection, conduction, respiration and evaporation. The intensity of heat removal is influenced by environmental parameters, especially by air temperature, mean radiant temperature, air velocity and humidity. Personal factors as energy expenditure of human body and clothing resistance are influencing the intensity of heat removal as well. People are able to influence the thermal comfort by their behaviour in given environment, appropriate clothing and regulation of basic environmental parameters. CSN EN ISO 7730 standard states that environmental parameters should be estimated or measured. The operative temperature is than evaluated from collected data. This operative temperature is defined as the temperature of black enclosed area where the human body will be by convection and radiation sharing the same amount of heat as in real inconsistent environment. Nowadays on the market there is no cheap solution for sensor which is able to evaluate the operating temperature and could be used in buildings. There are a lot of professional sensors which have very high accuracy, but are very expensive. Therefore are mainly used only for research or for single and exceptional measurement of environmental thermal state in rooms. The thesis is therefore focused on proposal of suitable (compact) operative temperature sensor assembled according to valid regulations and standards. Emphasis is placed mainly on the sensor price together with guarantee of sufficient accuracy. The proposed sensor is providing information to control system which is than able to adjust the parameters of environment using appropriate way based on relevant requirements. Here is some space for energy savings due to possible continuous measurement and evaluation of environmental thermal state in different rooms. Therefore, during continuous measurement no unnecessary rooms overheating in winter as well as unreasonable cooling in summer should occur. This research and solution is than reflected in reduction of energy consumption used for building operation and subsequently reduction of the pollutants production. This issue is being watched with increasing interest. Another advantage is that whole system is able to work autonomously without human intervention. People no longer have to continuously adjust air temperature because the control system is able to evaluate the most appropriate adjustments based on objective data obtained from the sensor. The thesis includes subsequent verification of proposed sensor as well as the definition of sensor technical parameters including analysis of measurement uncertainties.

The introduction of the theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of threats, another part to the rescue of animals. In the next part, I focused on zoological gardens and evacuation of animals. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the evacuation of selected species of animals. When selecting individual species, I focused on those that are most represented in Dvorec Zoo. The aim of my thesis was to create an analysis of the preparedness of the selected zoo to selected crisis situations and to identify the risks of evacuation of the zoo. In order to achieve these goals, I have set research questions - how is the zoo prepared for selected crisis situations? And what are the possible risks associated with evacuating selected species? In the second part of my thesis I focused on the research itself, which included an interview with the director of Dvorec Zoo. Based on the interview and my own observation I processed the KARS method. The KARS method has identified 6 risks that could compromise the operation of Dvorec Zoo. These risks include extreme wind, large-scale gas supply disruption, large-scale electricity supply disruption, snow calamity, and extremely low temperatures. Based on the identified risks, I created a plan for MU solution for Dvorec Zoo. In the MU solution plan, I focused primarily on the impacts on operation, planned measures, procedures and responsible people. Dvorec Zoo will, of course, be provided with this plan.

Measurement characteristics are temperature, humidity, weight of beehive and audio record of bees. They are measured by available IoT technology. They are simple single-chip component with a clear focus. This thesis also include creation of software for measurements this characteristics and communications with server. The software featured of the remote server are also documented. This software analyze incoming measurement and also provides their displays. Software in this thesis is developed in language Python.

The thesis and the enclosure contain data presented in charts and from the charts graphs have been made. Also, internal material provided by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, České Budějovice 7, Antala Staška 1177/32 is incorporated, as well as data from two amateur weather-stations situated in České Budějovice and Hluboká nad Vltavou. The objective of this work is to explain and describe measuring apparatus and methods used in meteorology. The work also compares results gained from a professional weather-station with those from an amateur one.

This diploma thesis deals with methods used to determine the temperature field distribution within an electric machine. The first part is focused on methods of temperature measurement, generation and transfer of the thermal energy within the electric machine, asynchronous motor in particular. The thesis describes classical methods of temperature measurement and it also deals with ANSYS Workbench finite element method for thermal analysis of the motor. The final part of the thesis is focused on a comparation of all discussed methods with respect to results of thermal test for real asynchronous motor and concludes the most proper method.

Automotive headlamps work in very variable operating conditions during which the producer have to guarantee their primary function of seeing and being seen. During the development stage of the new headlamps the manufacturers want to eliminate defects which could led to malfunction in operation. The numerical simulations along with the test procedures are appropriate tools for detection of problematic areas. The most appropriate approach is designing of experiment with a view to the subsequent simple implementation of the measured data into numerical simulations software and carefully choosing a measuring method of the monitored physical quantities. The thesis deals with phenomenon of condensation in headlamps, which has a negative effect on the light distribution and their life expectancy. Due to this experimental defog methodology was developed based on evaporation of a specified amount of water into the headlamp and then condensation on the inside surface of the headlamp lens. Pictures are taken during the measurements and the fogged and defogged areas are automatically detected. The results from experiments are used to adjust and verify a numerical model. The next part is devoted to the thermal load of the headlamp components which are mostly heated by waste heat from light sources. This phenomena depends mainly on the type of source, emissivity and thermal conductivity. A methodology of temperature measurement, thermal conductivity measurement, non-stationary method for emissivity determination and spectral characterization of thermal source based on their thermal fluxes to the surroundings has been developed.
