Vliv aktuálně používaných plastifikačních přísad na hydratační teplotu betonu / Effect of the currently used plasticizers for concrete hydration temperatureKnotová, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
Plasticizing and superplasticizing admixtures are the key components of nearly every concrete. These admixtures improve workability of mortar and fresh concrete which lead to facilitation of depositing and compaction. Adding of plasticizers or superplasticizers enables to change properties of fresh and hardened concrete, especially to reduce water-cement ratio, thereby increasing strength and durability of concrete or to improve other properties. The main aim of this thesis is to monitor the effect of plasticizing admixtures and their dosage on the rheology and hydration of concrete with emphasis on the development of hydration temperature. The other goal is to examine their strength qualities. Behaviour of plasticizing admixtures is analysed at first on cement pastes, as simple systems, and then verified on concrete.

The thesis deals with the determination of ash fusion temperatures. The first part of the thesis consist of research about the properties of ash, ash fusion temperatures and test methods, including a description of the problems associated with ash and their solution. In the second part, the ash fusion temperatures of the selected fuels are determined first experimentally and then by elemental analysis of ash. The results of both methods are compared at the end of the thesis.

Maziva vhodná pro tažení oceli / Suitable lubricants for deep drawing of steelHřebíček, Pavel January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this work is experimental evaluation of suitability of lubricants for drawing of stainless steel 1.4301 at elevated temperature, which corresponds to temperature in real process. The lubricant testing method is based on friction modeling between the pull edge and the retainer, which corresponds to the real process. Therefore, the design of the test fixture also conformed to this model. The result of the work is a comparison of the suitability of every single lubricants with the reference lubricant used in ACO Industries. The best results were obtained with AT Kalorex 650 S lubricant, which contains environmentally harmful additives.

Návrh zařízení pro měření střední teploty proudícího vzduchu v kanále libovolného průřezu / Design of device for determination of air mean temperature in the channel with various crossectionTichý, Vojtěch January 2019 (has links)
Diploma thesis was dealing with design of the device for measuring the mean temperature in a channel of any cross-section. First, the theory of heat, heat transfer and fluid flow was summarized. Theory was focused specially on the uneven temperature distribution in the flowing medium. Furthermore, a general overview of commercially used temperature sensors and developed sensors with applicability to the investigated problematics was elaborated. Then, a device for sensing mean temperature in a flow channel for several different diameters has been fully designed and developed. The device included the temperature sensor itself, the necessary measurement electronics and its programming, and a simple measurement data application.

Laboratorní úloha s regulací teploty / Laboratory device with temperature controlTelecký, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
This work deals with regulation and procedures that can be used for this. The theoretical part therefore presents the basic concepts of automation and controllers. The main part is the practical part. The purchased system consists of a regulated system, which must be set up correctly. Using system identification and known procedures, sample examples of how to best set the controller are compiled. The result is a sample laboratory task that automation students can try and gain experience with methods of setting up the controller.

Studium kinetiky samovolného rozpadu ozónu ve vodě / Survey of kinetics of spontaneous ozone decay in waterFendrych, Adam January 2010 (has links)
In the general part of this diploma thesis are presented technical information collected on the issue of spontaneous decay of ozone in water solution and problems with analytical monitoring of these processes. Particular attention is paid to influence of pH value, bicarbonate and peroxide concentration on ozone decay kinetics. Experimental part is focused on the use of spectrophotometry in the study of chemical reactions associated with the spontaneous decay of ozone in distilled and tap water depending on pH and temperature after saturating of water by ozone prepared from air and pure oxygen. Direct photometry in UV range of spectrum (at 260 nm) was used to monitoring of ozone decomposition kinetics.

Studium dílčích inaktivačních mechanismů uplatňujících se při sterilizaci prokaryotních systémů v dielektrickém bariérovém výboji / Study of elementary inactivation processes acting during sterilization of procaryotic systems in dielectric barrier dischargeBittnerová, Zuzana January 2011 (has links)
Presented master’s thesis is focused on the study of the elementary inactivation processes acting during sterilization of procaryotic systems in dielectric barrier discharge (DBD). Sterilization is an important biomedical and food-industry application and plasma sterilization is one of the methods, which are suitable for sterilization of heat and chemical sensitive materials. Biologically contaminated samples were treated in dielectric barrier discharge operated at atmospheric pressure. The discharge was generated in argon and in nitrogen. The plasma power density was 2725,93 mW cm–3 in argon and 2325,93 mW cm–3 in nitrogen. Gram positive bacteria Bacillus subtilis and gram negative bacteria Escherichia coli were used as a bioindicator. Bacteria were spread onto the surface of Whatman No.1 filtration paper. The influence of UV radiation, reactive species, heat and plasma discharge where the synergistic function of all of the agents was studied. Effects of UV radiation and temperature were studied separately. In order to separate the effect of UV radiation generated by DBD the quartz glass transmitting UV radiation was employed. During the plasma exposition selected samples were covered with the quartz window while other samples were directly exposed to the plasma. Covered samples were exposed to UV radiation and temperature (which cannot be eliminated), samples without quartz window were directly plasma exposed (treated). Results show that for covered samples the lower inactivation was reached than by the samples directly exposed to plasma. When studying the effect of temperature, the temperature between the DBD electrodes was measured by means of a thermocouple. Afterwards the samples were placed in an oven and exposed to the same temperature as was measured between the electrodes. By comparing the results of heat treated samples and plasma treated samples it can be assumed that the influence of the temperature during the sterilization process in DBD is very low. The discharge parameters were studied by means of the Optical Emission Spectroscopy. Plasma treated samples were assessed employing Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Damage of Bacillus subtilis cell wall due to the effect of plasma was observed while no effect of plasma on the structure of filtration paper was detected.
