Vliv klenby a nastavení akra horní končetiny v opoře na koaktivaci svalových řetězců - pilotní studie / Impact of Arches and Acral Parts of Upper Limbs in Prop up Position on Coactivation of Muscle Chains - Pilot Study

Ballýová, Monika January 2016 (has links)
Bibliografický záznam BALLÝOVÁ, Monika. Impact of Arches and Acral Parts of Upper Limbs in Prop up Position on Coactivation of Muscle Chains - Pilot Study. Prague: Charles University, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation and Sports, 2016, 70 p., Supervisor: PhDr. Ingrid Palaščáková Špringrová, Ph.D. Abstract The Acral Coactivation Therapy, based on neurophysiology, is a method the principle of which consists in propping up on acral parts of the limbs with the aim to coactivate ventral and dorsal muscle chains in order to center the root joints and to straighten the axial skeleton subsequently. The practical part of the thesis is aimed at verification of the Acral Coactivation Therapy principles. Two groups of individuals were objects of the research: mountaineers and general population. Normal arches of upper limbs statistically prevailed in the group of the mountaineers, which proves the impact of regular physical activity on musculoskeletal system and its function. Surface electromyography recorded the impact of correction of the acral part on change in muscular activity. The results of the electromyographic measurement showed the same trends in muscular activity changes as the outcomes resulting from the Acral Coactivation Therapy. Statistically, the most substantial changes were...

Moc jako aspekt terapeutického vztahu v rámci gestalt přístupu / Power as an Aspect of an Therapeutical Relationship on the Framework of the Gestalt Approach

Krčmářová, Barbora January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on a phenomenon of power in therapy relationship in way of Gestalt approach. It's based on a relationship concept between psychotherapist and client which is a fundamental factor in psychoteraphy change. The power is perceived in accordance with Michela Foucalt's theory as a natural and necessary relational phenomenon. In Gestalt approach intentions we pursue ways, in which the psychoterapist is aware his power, how he gets in touch and how he deals with it. Diploma thesis has got a theoretical empirical character, the theoretical part sumarizes knowledge about power, relationship like a base of helping professions work and basic knowledge from Gestalt therapy field. Empirical part uses design of qualitative metodology. We got data about Gestalt therapists' attitudes, perception and understanding of the power phenomenon. These gained data are processed by the grounded theory method and compared with other data. Next possibilities of broadening gained informations and working with them in therapy field are mentioned in the conclusion. Our results broaden knowledge about therapy relationship characteristics and bring an inspiration for psychotherapy training attenders, practising therapists and other helping professionals.

Efektivita využití chladu při léčbě dysfunkcí pohybového aparátu / Efficiency of cold treatment of locomotive system dysfunctions

Vášková, Mariana January 2013 (has links)
Title: Efficiency of cold treatment of locomotive system dysfunctions Objectives: The theoretical part should provide an overview of effects of cold on the human organism. The practical part reports a pilot study in which local cryotherapy was applied to painful areas of dysfunctional locomotive system. Methods: After measuring local painfulness using an algometer, the Cryogen 2 device was used for local cryotherapeutic treatment; after the treatment, algometer was used again. Subjective state of the patient was monitored throughout the process. Cryotherapy was applied within normal individual physiotherapeutic treatment to patients of varying age, sex, and locomotive system dysfunctions. Results: We have shown that local cryotherapy, using the Cryogen 2 device, did decrease painfulness in measured areas. Although significant differences in pain perception were found between male and female patients, the efficiency of cryotherapy did not depend on sex. Some correlation was found between treatment efficiency and age. No evidence was found for establishing that repeated application decreases pain perception measured before the next treatment. The results are influenced by a smaller sample of patients and measurements, and by inhomogeneity of patients. Key words: pain treatment, cold, local cryotherapy,...

The first part includes theoretical background dealing with the description, principle of operation and the possibilities of influence the therapy using biofeedback. The next chapter focuses on different areas of use of biofeedback in physical therapy and identifies the different forms of use. Subsequent research contains a presentation of studies, their comparison and critically evaluation of the effect of therapy using biofeedback for selected diagnoses. Results: Based on 69 found studies were clearly mapped using various forms of biofeedback in physical therapy. From the research findings which involved a total of 24 studies with the corresponding criteria, it was found that the method of biofeedback has a positive effect on the treatment of urinary incontinence in women. However, compared with...

Možnosti ovlivnění vybraných oblastí psychomotorického vývoje dítěte pomocí Neuro-vývojové terapie / Possibilities of influencing selected areas of children psychomotor development by neuro-developmental therapy

Volemanová, Marja Annemiek January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the concept of the psychomotor development in context of remaining primary reflexes in children. The author draws on the knowledge of developmental psychology and neurophysiology that some of developmentally earlier stages must under optimal circumstances and maturation of a child disappear and be replaced by ontogenetically newer forms. Research confirms continuity of persistent primary reflexes, psychomotor development and learning and behavioral problems. The thesis aims to investigate whether inhibition of primary reflexes using Neuro-developmental therapy improves the condition of children with delayed psychomotor development, including their school grades. The author in the introductory chapters focusses on normal psychomotor development of children, in particular gross motor skills, fine motor skills, sensory skills, including proprioception and kinesthesia and their importance for learning ability in school age. The next part of the thesis is focused on particular primary reflexes and their impact on psychomotor development. The author pays special attention to the climbing stage in infancy which she considers as an important milestone in the optimal psychomotor development. Case studies shows, that skipping any developmental stage can be considered as a...
